There's Something Going On In Michigan
I don't know exactly what's going on here. The only change I have made with myself in the last few days is the addition of a Ron Paul pin on my jacket, but since then it seems that everyone I meet hasn't just heard of him but is voting for him. For instance last night at the party store (that's a convenience store in Michigan), the three people behind the counter were very excited to see a fellow supporter, then this morning at the gas station I met two more and tonight I was driving down the freeway and saw a guy stuck in the snow and stopped to help him and he said that at first he was a little scared of the approaching vehicle but that he noticed the Ron Paul bumper sticker on my Jeep and was immediately relieved. These kinds of things have happened repeatedly over the last week or so but ......... I guess what I am getting at is that I am feeling very optimistic these days and no matter what happens in Iowa I will continue to fight as hard as I can and will do everything in my power to continue the growth of his support.
Good luck to us all and thanks for all that you've done.

Michigan support
I recently called an old coworker in Michigan and heard; "Who is he? He has signs all over the place."
My friends from Michigan, left, Libertarian and right, are actively organizing for ron Paul. Wish I could be there but for the economy.
my own poll (observation)
while traveling from detroit to chicago (on business) the only yard signs and bumper stickers i saw were for Ron Paul. half of the trip i spent on the interstate (I-94) and the other half on roads that parallel the interstate.
Help Michigan
Our Fort Wayne & Angola meetup groups have made one trip up to Michigan to assist them. I didn't get to go, but talked to my meetup group and it was a success.
Michigan folks are very hungry for Ron Paul information!
Write letters to Michigan! Write letters to Michigan!

from Cary, NC:
My girlfriend bravely was the first person in her neighborhood to put up a yard sign. Now she has two requests for a yard sign and one for a t-shirt.
Good for business and friendship contacts to support RP
From reading the article and the comments, it is clear that a major plus for actively supporting Ron Paul is that it apparently really helps make friends and save money (and probably helps with business networking as well).
I am not in the USA so I cannot gauge this first-hand. I am in Russia where I meet zero Americans.
People are being let off by the police for speeding and given discounts at stores...sounds good to me.
However: please do not identify specific people who gave you unauthorized discounts or specific lawmen who let you get special treatment. :-)
I was especially touched by the idea that a man felt "safer" when a stranger approached in a vehicle with a Ron Paul sign. Theoretically, since Ron Paulites would be more tolerant of pornography and prostitution (at least in terms of these being states rights issues)...Romney and Huckabee supporters might fear a Ron Paul supporter approaching...but people know that support for Ron Paul comes from being intellectual and pro-human.
A similar experience
I had a similar experience a few weeks ago when the pizza delivery man told me he knew this was a good house when he saw my Ron Paul yardsign. I think that speaks volumes about the movement!!!
Visibility
Wearing your pin EVERY day, and putting bumper stickers on your car, and a yard sign on your lawn or in your window, makes you visible as a Ron Paul supporter. You then become a lightning rod for other supporters, who appreciate the agreement with their support of Ron Paul. You also attract those who have questions, who may have already found themselves thinking about Ron Paul as a candidate, but did not want to "waste their vote" on someone the media says can't win. Wearing your buttons, bumpersticker, yard sign, it's all agreement he can win. I always accept the friendly "Ron Paul" acknowledgement, and ask if they want a bumper sticker or yard sign. I carry yard signs in my vehicle, always. I ALWAYS carry voter registration forms and slim jims. The other thing is the business cards with the phone number you can call for more info on the issues, in Ron Pauls' own voice. The ultimate good, in my opinion, is done with canvassing door to door with slim jims.
Ron Paul 2012
haha yeah, He's catching on, I'm telling ya
Whenever a DailyPaul user wrote, "He's catching on, I'm telling ya" it makes me want to laugh. reminds me of the guy in the ad.
This revolution is worldwide. If America fails, God help us all
Do we need to shed the love in the revolution? We have been screwed big time in New Hampshire.

Louisville...
Yesterday, at a red light, I noticed a couple of people in a gold Ford Ranger smiling, talking, and glancing at my bumper sticker. I thought that they were laughing at it, but when the light turned green they passed me. They had "WHO IS RON PAUL?" shoe polished on their back window. Made my day.
Good News Here in Southern Maryland...
Ron Paul signs and stickers are the only one I see around here in So. Maryland. I don't know who they are, but some Paulites have plastered homemade signs all over St. Mary's and Calverty Counties. I put some out in Calvert myself. It was nice to realize that I'm not the only one. As for stickers, I give them out at every opportunity. My truck's back window is a big Ron Paul billboard. I've gotten a few thumbs up, as well as alot of questions, such as "Who is Ron Paul?" The point I think that is important, especially after reading the comments here, is that there is something going on not only in Michigan. There is something going on ALL OVER THE NATION. The nay-sayers and the old, corporate media will be eating crow when RP starts winning/placing high in the primaries.

I've been out at sign-waving events organized by the local meetups. Every week, more people honk their horns. We get more thumbs-up signs, and more thumbs-down signs (and the occasional "finger"). So the word is getting out there.
BTW, I consider the thumbs-down signs almost as good as the thumbs-up. It means they know enough about Ron Paul to have an opinion, so the word is spreading. Even when Dr. Paul gets the Republican nomination, roughly half the voters will still be against him. Our biggest battle right now is just getting name recognition and people interested in finding out who Ron Paul really is.
For the record, we get a lot more thumbs-up than thumbs-down ;) .
I notice it too And I'm in
I notice it too And I'm in Colorado! I have people honk at me and give me the thumbs up when they see my bumper stickers.. I just say you want one too and give em out!

Wow..
My girlfriend was recently in support of Hillary "The Communist" Clinton. She was in support of her, of all reasons, because she was a woman.
I sat her down and made her take one of the candidate quiz things, because I refused the answer of "because she's a woman". I did not preface the quiz and did not give my input at all! Guess what?! Not only did she realized that Clinton is a absolute hag and does not share any of her views, but that Ron Paul was her #1!
Now she is an avid letter writer! (over 50 so far in 4 days!)
Now if we can only make more people realize that they do agree with Dr. Paul!
that is awesome!

More positive stories with Paulite strangers
I notice it too. I live in Kansas. I've had three significant experiences with the Ron Paul movement touching my life in the last two weeks.
1. A cop pulled me over for speeding (11 mph over). He saw my RP bumper sticker. He asked "so you're a Ron Paul supporter." I answered "Yes." He responded "so am I." After verifying my license and insurance, he let me go with a warning.
2. An old business aquaintance, with whom I am NOT on friendly terms, recently changed his profile pic on a Social Site. He's holding a sign that says "Dr. Paul cured my apathy."
3. My ex (who IS in Michigan) and I do not get along. (#2 + #3 DO NOT constitute a life relationship pattern.) Her sister became a Ron Paul supporter just this week. I did nothing to persuade her--indeed, my endorsement would be viewed as a negative.
CONCLUSION: I am finding Ron Paul supporters in the most unexpected places these days
Life, Liberty, Property
Its like we are a big family
I get thumbs up every day here in Florida when people see my "Hope For America" bumper sticker.
The first few honks took me by surprise. You don't realize how many "secret agents" we have out there until you step up and display signage.
It IS happening.
I wish I had some stories to tell but....
In Illinois no one really seems to care about the primary. People are so used to voting after everything has been decided that few people care. I have seen one ron paul sticker besides mine, a few ron paul yard signs, and a few Obama stickers (cause he is our senator)
It seems to me like there are pockets of heavy support, but also tons of areas that not many people have heard about Ron Paul. However it is very encouraging to hear all the positive stories :)
We are the same, but growing
We are in a city in Alaska, and we are just now getting our signs out and starting to see bumper stickers. The point is, we have to do the work to get the word out. But, I can't believe how easy it is to gain votes for Dr. Paul. Just get the person to hear his positions and they are sold! I hope our numbers increase in time for Feb. 5th. The way it is going, I think we'll sweep the conventions.

Brilliant article that explains why we love Dr. Paul:

I sure hope so
I spent pretty much every day between Christmas and New Years doing Lit drops in MI. On those days while walking (not driving), of those people I asked if they knew about Ron Paul, I sure heard a lot of "I like Ron Paul, but he cannot win" comments. I am thinking that if everybody that thought that had the moral courage to vote conscience, RP would win by a landslide. Unfortunately, there are numerous people that I have been trying to convert to RP that just cannot imagine not voting for the media appointed "top two or three" candidates.
That's Why the Early Primary States are So Important
You are exactly right. Of people I've seen who understand what Ron Paul is about, that's the biggest objection. That's why a really good showing in the early primaries could start a watershed event for Ron Paul leading to his nomination!
That's exactly
one of things I had to "fight" my dad on before he decided to vote for Dr. Paul but I just told him that "that's what the primaries are for. If he doesn't win the primary and you know you voted forhim then you can reasess your candidate". I think that putting the primaries in perspective helps alot.
Good point
Vote your conscience
History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid.
Dwight D. Eisenhower
I notice too
I notice that in Newport Beach, I see about twice as many Ron Paul bumper stickers as a do for Mitt Romney (which is surprising considering our large Mormon population). Also, a survey of seniors at my high school had Paul second only to Obama in terms of support.
Absolutely! Sometimes they're right under your nose.
After marching in Detroit's Ron Paul March on New Years Eve I spoke to a friend of mine about it and she said, "I wish you would have told me. I would have went!" I about passed out, I didn't realize that my previous conversations with her got anywhere! I went to her house that night and brought her some DVD's, slim jims and other lit! I'm bringing her to our next meet-up!
I'm not in Michigan
but over the holidays I seen a car with Michigan plates at the local convenince store that had a sticker on it that said "Don't Google Ron Paul, Scroogle Ron Paul". At first I thought it was a wordplay (thinking he was anti-Paul), but after talking to the guy he said there was a website at scroogle.org (click on scroogle scraper if you go there) that has a search engine that doesn't collect any data from you when you search. He said he enjoyed the privacy he gets there when he does his searches. When I got home I went there and sure enough, its a real site and a real seach engine..:-)

Thought you would all get a kick out of a LA Times Quote-
LA Times;
"Understandably, neither side apparently wants to incur the online wrath of Paul's passionate parishioners, who scour the Internet around the clock and descend like locusts on any opportunity to praise Paul or right perceived wrongs on any website or blog they can find."
Ron Paul - Powered by Freedom stopped by nothing!
