RonPaul2008 Must Be Inundated with Orders -- My 3-Week Old Order is Still Not Delivered

I can only assume that they have been slammed with orders and are very backed up. I did receive a confirmation shortly after placing the order though so I know it was received. While I'd love to get my jackets, shirts and $100 or so of other stuff, I am hopeful that hundreds of thousands are also ordering and waiting. Others in my Meet-Up have seen increasing delay too, so that also points to increasing orders.
Anyone else notice the same thing?

I placed an order on December 4 and have yet to see it. I tried to call them yesterday and have not had a response. Hope to get them sometime before Ron gets elected in November, LOL.

Had to call on 27th. They overnighted it. Otherwise, I don't think there were any plans to ship, judging from what the guy said. I told him all he had to do is speak and he would have all the volunteers he wanted. He said, "They have it covered."
If you max or I guess even if you donate, you get materials. If you max, you get all the materials you want for free and they even ship it free. They said if you buy their materials from someone who got them from them, then that is against government regulations and can get them in trouble.
So offsetting someones donation by buying their materials can cause an investigation and cause problems.
The Campaign Should Have De-centralized the Printing
of marketing collateral. If for no other reason than to save the massive shipping charges on the slim jims.
I can't order any more because I've reached the max legal donation limit, but the last slim jim order I placed had a little over $100 of material and almost $50 on top of that just for the shipping!
I'd think with the electronic infrastructure at most modern printers, it would have been possible to decentralize this function to major cities at least. That way, the processing time should have been shorter, the delivery would have been shorter (especially if you could pick it up directly at the printers), and the shipping charges would have been lower.
I realize it's probably not quite as simple as that, but I can't believe something couldn't have been done.
Material
I just know there is a lot of material in buildings that people have asked for and don't get and that is delayed support. The longer we take to get material out, the longer it takes to build our base and then the consequences happen, like not reaching our $20,000,000 goal. Let's just hope it doesn't affect the vote--but it will.

waiting for weeks
i've been waiting for slim jims for a couple weeks myself. this delay, combined with the campaign's inability to reply to two separate emails is growing frustrated. in fact, i withheld my contribution i was going to make on new year's eve as i worry about how effectively our money is being spent. shipping orders from the ron paul store doesn't require highly skilled workers --- it's not like the campaign doesn't have extra money. we need our stuff!

Two things to consider...
(1) Holidays and Holiday shipping
(2) Massive rush from states with early primaries for RP material
I think, not sure, that the campaign website even says "allow 10 days for processing, prior to shipping" and that's two weeks right there (10 "business" days), so if you calculate in the days off for Holidays (their fulfillment location/operation is different from campaign HQ), that could explain the delay.

my daughter and wife ordered me clothing for christmas on the 8th of dec it didnt arrive till the 27th thats fine with me it means he getting a hell of a lot of orders. wore my ron paul revolution hoody today i couldnt be prouder.
I Got My Order Last Friday by Federal Express
It did take a few weeks to get to me, but at last, it finally did come. Now I have Ron Paul signs in front of my house for all to see and some "slim jims" to start passing out.
Though Not Yet Delivered, I Still Have Signs Out...
On guy from one of the local Meet-up groups had thousands of dollars of literature, stickers, etc. so I bought some yard signs and bumper stickers off him. Those have been up for two weeks. My car has two bumper stickers and the hand-lettered message: I'M 43. MY FIRST BUMPER STICKER EVER. GOOGLE HIM TO LEARN WHY.
I took a picture and sent it around. Now my wife's aunt in FL put on her bumper stickers and did the same message: I'M 67. MY FIRST BUMPER STCIKER EVER GOOGLE HIM TO LEARN WHY. My father-in-law thought she was crazy for putting her age (what woman likes to do that), but she laughed and said she liked that it would make readers wonder enough to actually Google him.
I am a believer that every car with a sticker should have a personal message aded to drive home the comittment and provoike natural curiosity. I have a window writer (from the local drug store) and I am going to start adding and chaning messages like, "The Thinking Person's Candidate," "I Dare You to Think," "End the War," "End the Patriot Act," "Restore the Republic," "Long Live the Constution" and of course the first one will be "Dr. Paul Cured My Apathy,"
Anyway, I'm looking forward to my order coming in so I can where my fleece. And if it is not cold enough, while I'll just have to wear my RP long sleeve shirt. And if it still too warm for that, while I'll just have to wear my RP tee shirt. :)

i placed an order on dec 27, and i got an email yesterday saying it shipped.
maybe because it was just a few buttons and some lapel stickers. maybe other items such as shirts or jackets are back-ordered?
