Ron Paul to be on O'Reilly Factor?
Submitted by Vanaze on Sat, 09/08/2007 - 03:14I was sitting here preparing for bed when I thought I heard O'Reilly on the television saying Ron Paul would be on the show this coming week?
Can someone verify this with a date?

It appears to be official!!
It appears to be official!! According to the campaign site RP will be on O'Reilly's show Sept. 10.
Bill O'reilly
This is great! Most of the people watching Bill's show are in favor of the war, just another chance to convert them.
Bash Libertarians
Rachel, the Ron Paul Junkie, was on the Factor when she was selling the sexy Libertarian calendars. All he did was to bash Libertarians, saying how they were a drug legalizing crowd. The he went into loofa/flafel mode and starting looking at the calendar pictures. As long as Dr. Paul refers back to the constitution in every one of his positions, he should be fine. Bill could end up looking like a real fool on this.
The video is on youtube somewhere.
I completely agree, and in
I completely agree, and in addition to citing the constitution I also wish he would reference his voting record in the debates and in interviews.
Maybe it's my memory of Billy's interruption-fest
With the late Ron Crickenburger, but I'm not sure this is good news...I'm not a fan of O'Reilly's style & tactics. The good news is, with the few words he was given, Ron trounced Bill intellectually. RIP, cool guy. I know you'd be helping us if you were still around.

I did not see that
I did not see that interview, as I stopped watching O'Reilly several years ago. But Dr. Paul vs. O'Reilly will be a huge coup, as long as it's Live.
A large percentage of watchers of O'Reilly and Hannity are not oblivious to lack of objectivity when they see it, and they will recognize a hatchet job, as well, and wonder why said Neo-Con apologists can't refute the Good Doctor in an honorable contest of ideas.
The continuing erosion of the credibility of guys like Bill will serve the cause in the end. If Dr. Paul gets ambushed, all the greater will be his appeal.
Is there a video of Crickenberger's intvw?
I don't know...
But it's classic. Ron wasn't even allowed to talk. And it's funny on the drug issue, but I've noticed that tax and spend drugwar proponents like O'Reilly tend to get more-upset with less-dangerous illegal drugs like pot than they get about drugs like crack and heroin.
Back then, O'Reilly was being against ANY use of cannabis to the point of not letting others speak at all. Now, I think he's come-around on medical use, but I continue to sense a deep fear that some patient somewhere might feel some sort of an illicit recreational effect in the process of taking such politically-incorrect medicine, and we can't have that! ;) This fear of a recreational effect from reefer rivals the fear some on the left seem to have of someone, somewhere, making a nice profit from a transaction. 2 sides of the same control-freak coin.
At least, that's how I see the "logic" evolving, but hopefully I'm wrong once-again. If anyone can turn O'Reilly around, it's Ron Paul. Oh, and I *still* miss Rachel's videos!!! :) I sincerely hope she's doing us as much good in DC as she's done on YouTube, but that's going to take some doing...

HUGE MISTAKE of Ron Paul campaign
Instead of hiring Rachel, they should have recognized her for the job she was already doing and helped her become a TV star by paying her. Her Videos as campaign Ads for Ron Paul on TV would be a smashing HIT!
WE ARE GOING TO WIN!
