MSNBC Fact Checks Bachmann/Paul Exchange on Iran Nukes

RON PAUL: "There is no U.N. report that said that. It's totally wrong, what you just said."
Bachmann: "It's the IAEA report."
THE FACTS: As Paul said, the report of the International Atomic Energy Agency does not state that Iran is within months of having nuclear arms. The U.N. agency report does suggest that Iran conducted secret experiments whose sole purpose is the development of nuclear weapons but did not put a time frame on when Iran might succeed in building a bomb, and it made no final conclusion on Tehran's intent.
Bachmann also erred by arguing that Iran has "stated they will use it (a nuclear weapon) against the United States."

Michelle Bachmann
Bachmann is the most factually challenged candidate that has run for president in recent memory. She is as bad as Sharon Angle and Christine O'Donnell. Bachmann is a dingbat. Consider:
- She thinks that John Quincy Adams was one of the signers to the constitution. He was the 6th president of the US.
- She thinks the founding fathers fought against slavery. Jefferson and Washington were slave owners. Only John Adams was against slavery.
- She thinks the Minutemen of Concord (Mass.) came from New Hampshire.
- She makes a big deal of her experience as a tax attorney but she only tried one case and spent a lot of time on maternity leave.
- She misstates the IAEA report and says that Iran has vowed to nuke the US.
It goes on and on. She is not a serious candidate and needs to be taken as the big joke that she really is.

To All "Ignorant Christians"...
Please forgive and ignore the poster's subject line. Once you get past being called "ignorant", you will find his points valid. You already know that both Paul and Bachmann are Christian. Some of the differences between them are:
- Paul states documented facts and Bachmann says whatever she has to say to convince you to agree with her.
- Paul is truly pro-life from conception to grave and Bachmann wants to ram her personal version of pro-life down the throats of all Americans. She wants to ban abortion, but she's ok with killing our kids in a religious war.
- Paul respects the sanctity of marriage and is living proof of that respect, but he believes that marriage is none of the federal government's business and should be defined by the states, should they choose to define it. Bachmann also believes in the sanctity of marriage. She also believes that gay marriage is evil and it is her personal responsibility to outlaw it on a federal level. I have never heard her say anything about divorce, and I find that very odd.
- Paul respects the religions and beliefs of all Americans, and he fights for our right to our beliefs, whatever they are. Bachmann believes that her religion and beliefs are supreme, and that all Americans should believe as she does, and that they should behave according to her beliefs.
Of the two, who do you want running your life?

The ironic thing is she complained that her credibility was being dismissed during the debates and after when she talked to Hannity.
