Many Iowans that want to vote can't !!

These caucuses are so overblown it wreaks of media propaganda and fodder. Many won't be able to participate even though they really want to.........

Six must do's in IA and NH!!!!

1. If you are a caucus goer then wear RP for president clothes, buttons, lapel pins, anything that clearly identifies you as a RP supporter.
2. Make a tally sheet, that list the name and contact info for all that voted for RP.
3. Video tape everything and upload it that night. Be sure to catch those RP voters catch names and faces
4. Remain calm but fight like hell. Call the news stations, post it on youtube, blog the hell out of it.
5. Post all results.
6. Celebrate!!!!!

In 2008 we have enough technology that we can be at 1800 places at one time.

freedom isn't free!

will they have regrets with their decision later on? i sure would. the outcome of dr. paul not winning the election is equivalent to being handcuffed to a dying empire.

We have a lot of out of state volunteers there

Can someone work for him that night?

Yes!

Get Nick to the caucus!

Call for help in Des Moines. Waiter at Centro can't take off.

I live in NJ, but just read this article. It looks like a call to action for RP supporters in Des Moines. You have a supporter, Nick Okland, working at Centro, "a sleek Italian restaurant" in Des Moines. Someone go find this guy and get him to the caucus. Go back Thursday night and have dinner at Centro and give him a nice tip. Here's a vote waiting to be harvested.

Great!

This is great! Now if only there could be a blizzard. A BAD one. Every obstacle helps Ron Paul. Nothing short of lava raining out of the sky will stop Dr. Paul's supporters from getting to the caucus. Do the other candidates have the kind of support that will drive voters to the caucus though hell should bar the way? NO!!!! Hahahahahaha! No, brothers and sisters, they do NOT! That is why every obstacle, every inconvenience, every annoyance helps us.

I'm excited!

Peace!

Lava raining out of the sky

Lava raining out of the sky - we could work around that. lol.

No, I think the glass is half full!

You've got to look at the positive side of this. Ron Paul supporters are not going to let these little inconveniences get in the way! Look at how they have showed up to rallies in the cold, showed up for other campaign events that didn't even involve their candidate (Giuliani probably can't even start to sleep at night without seeing Ron Paul signs in his sleep.)

The definite downside is that the active military can't participate. But as far as everyone else, it just means they make a little bit more of a sacrifice, and we all know that RP supporters do this much better than any other candidates'.

So if you live in Iowa, go tell someone new about how the guys in the military donate more to Ron Paul than anyone else, and tell them to come down and show their support for the troops by standing up for the God Doctor!

5% of people make things happen
10% of people watch things happen
85% say "What happened?"

You are saying 'they',

aren't you part of the pack? Say WE WE WEEEEEE!!!! all the way to the voting booth. I plan to be at my polling place all day and talk to everyone and just be Paul crazy.

"Vote for Paul if you want it all! Goodbye taxes! Goodbye big bro! Hello all my money! Oh! There you are freedom! What?! You have maryjane!?! Oh, wait, everything is fine now...the Doc saved America!"

I'm in New Mexico, so I

I'm in New Mexico, so I won't be in Iowa tomorrow, nor was i able to be at the rally in Philly.

Here, we don't have our primary until June, after 47 other states already cast their ballots. The apathy here is so thick you could lay it down and take a nap on it. But I think things will get Very, very interesting by June...

The States with Open Primaries...

... are the ones that count. These are the ones that will demonstrate Ron Paul's broad-based support. This is what you need to win the White House.

Plano TX

Ron Paul supporters will be at the caucus making history.

The amount of work it takes to caucus will be good for us. One thing we have shown is that we have more resolve and more determination than any other campaign.

While others may like their candidate they do not feel stongly enough go and caucus for them. I have met very few people that are "passionate" about their candidates message. We have passion coupled with detrermination to spread the message of freedom. That is our edge.

Other candidate supporters will be at home watching history being made on CNN and Fox while Ron Paul supporters will be at the caucus making history.

A caucus is a great way to determine candidates...

... in 1860. If you're a gentleman farmer who may take most or all of the day at your liesure, then it's a great methodology. However, if you want actual representation by working citizens who pay taxes (i.e. Not retirees looking to secure the status quo with regards to SS benies) - then it pretty much sucks.
I don't know why we don't put more focus on NH and blow off the IA Caucuses (Cauci?) off as a quaint anachronism.

So true

New Hampshire will be the REAL telling point. AOL poll has RP blowin doors on the rest in NH.

Also in NYTimes

Not sure where it originated, but it is also in New York Times tomorrow.

One of the people supports RP

Nick Okland - a waiter. Says he needs the tips and can't caucus. I also saw someone post on RP's facebook wall that she has to work and can't caucus on Thursday night. This is heartbreaking. (I told her to call in sick)

Need a sitter?

Need a ride? Need a substitute?
That is what get out the vote is for.

Out of state volunteer

Can someone from out of state volunteer to work for that person
on that night so that they can go caucus?

Bizarre

Speaking as a waiter myself, there is nothing that would keep me from going to caucus if I lived in Iowa. If rent had to be a day late, if I had to eat crackers and noodles for a day or two, if I had to borrow gas money the next day... I just cannot imagine a situation where one thursday night would make that much of a difference.

I think that's a pretty lame excuse not to caucus for Ron Paul.

A sign my computer instructor in college had summed it up:
"If you want to, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse."

Iowan "Feet on the Ground"

If you hear of any of these types of people who would like to vote but cannot due to lack of funds, reach out here, there are a lot of people willing to put forward funds for things like this.

Plus, if you're from out of state, offer to babysit while they go vote! :)

Not so much funds but...

the fact that it is at 7pm at night. It would be better if those that work or out of town could have a signed afidavit or a proxy so they could be included.
