"Democrat" on war & civil rights, "Republican" on the economy
It's funny how both sides say Ron Paul is totally crazy for A) his foreign policy or B) his economic policy.
But each side holds the opposite position and considers it reasonable, rational and without controversy.
Thus they are actually calling each other crazy; Ron's position is in fact the most reasonable one.
Democrats are "crazy" because they are weak on war and they want Big Government. Republicans are "crazy" because they want war and to let poor children starve and go uneducated.
It's a funny dichotomy. Why do they always have to say his beliefs are so crazy, when they are in fact held by 50%+ of the nation on both sides of the political spectrum.
edit- Ron is like Obama2008 on war & the national security state. Obama's made the Democrats = to the Bush Republicans.
We Might Get a Little Help from the Liberal Media
...because they want Ron Paul to be the nominee. They think Obama has the best shot against Paul. Let 'em keep thinking that. I find it pretty funny that they don't realize how he'll steal the anti-war, pro civil-liberties, tired of Obama's lies Democrats. He's also going to take the majority of independents because Obama has perpetuated all of the things Bush did that made those folks independents in the first place. With more media exposure, Paul's past predictions will gain more attention too. The people will see that if we'd listened to him we could've saved the lives of the Marines in Beirut, all the soldiers in Iraq, most of the losses in Afghanistan, saved hundreds of billions in foreign aid, prevented the housing bubbles, saved our civil liberties, etc.
This Alter guy must be a banker.
This is good stuff. First Ed attacks Fox then lets a bit of the Doctors message slip in. They miss it on the economy, then send out the anti war stance to the hypnotized left.
They are as hard to reach as the hardcore right.
If only 2 or 3 are awakened, we welcome them.
All in all, I say this is a positive.
Ed's giving Ron Paul some credit,
but this creep he's interviewing might as well be a Fox puppet himself.

Now Schultz speaks from the
Now Schultz speaks from the other side of his face. He says,"All of a sudden...orchestrated attempt" against Ron Paul. This is not a sudden phenomenon. Ron Paul has been the target of media abuse and strategic under-coverage for this whole campaign cycle..including false reporting of his straw poll wins and his polling numbers. Ed Schultz was also guilty of this media anti-Paul chorus.
His chosen pundit, John Alter, lacks credibility on two fronts. He accuses Ron Paul of being in "cloud cuckooland" about his economic policy with his call ie. to return to the gold standard. Alter also considers RP "totally discredited in economics". Economics is surely one area where Ron Paul has risen to a point that people are starting to catch up to his intellectual level. Alter has obviously not attained this level of understanding economics.
Alter describes Ron Paul as "getting close to serious "isolationism" and that if he were president in 1941, US "would not have gone into war against Japan and Germany" Does this man understand Ron Paul's foreign policy at all? When US was attacked, staged or not, war was DECLARED...and US was at war legally and immediately. RP has always advocated this position for a strong national defence when attacked: a Declaration of War, Win it and Come Home.
In spite of their hollow recognition of Ron Paul's foreseeable landslide win in IOWA, both Ed and Alter need to research more economics and history.
Wow I was expecting much worse
Ok they are Democrats and love Government running the economy but everything else was pretty good.
They even showed some good clips of the good Doc and that is always helpful as people love him when they hear him speak.

I hate this clip. They even
I hate this clip.
They even attacked him on the economy, which he has been right about, or has been trended in his direction. They just don't even mention it.
I'm just disgusted with it.
This is actually a really bad clip.
Doing A Service
They call him crazy, but provide no evidence. That will drive people to look for the data.
Where will they go? Here. YouTube. Anywhere they go, they're bound to get educated.
Good example of why you can't trust "journalists." I've always said, if liberals understand economics, they become libertarians, and if conservatives understand human nature, they become libertarians. It's a simple acknowledgement that government is not the answer to their goals.
What do you think? http://consequeries.com/
You know this is still better commentary
that what you would get on fox.
Ron Paul's economic ideas are
Ron Paul's economic ideas are just crazy? It's funny how these people pick and choose what they like about him or what they think is crazy. They like his foreign policy but he is crazy on economics, well, I say that if he if he is smart enough to figure the foreign policy thing out, then his intelligence is more than capable to figure out the economy. He is the only one with the right answers on just about everything and these criminals are running scared!
how about
the fact that for once we get a Presidential candidate who actually understands economics, the economy, money, etc. —but doesn't want to run the economy! That's irony.
"If you want something you've never had before, you have to do something you've never done before." Debra Medina
Oh my
these freakin liberals are clueless about the economy, the fed, and our movement. It's like asking the blind man to give a visual description of the 4th of July fireworks.
It's right in front of them - but they're missing it!
"It does not take a majority to prevail but rather an irate, tireless minority keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men."
--Samuel Adams
How does Dr. Paul "discredit himself on economics policy"??!
How does Dr. Paul "discredit himself on economics policy" by calling for a gold standard? Economics is his strong point, and these daffy liberal progressives ought to know Dr. Paul is the ONLY candidate who expresses concern for the consumers, and the buying power of their earnings. NOBODY else cares about the average worker and consumer, least of all, Obama.
"Cowards & idiots can come along for the ride but they gotta sit in the back seat!"
Please do not hurt yourself
Please do not hurt yourself thinking about this laughable comment about not being right on the economy. That is the small propaganda jab. Maybe someone should inform this man how priced in real money (Gold) the markets and housing have been crashing BUT GOOD NEWS..food and energy are up.
Thanks. Got his views out
Thanks. Got his views out more, and not too horrid of commentary. Looks good.
