RP supporter kiva.org money bomb...How RP would eradicate poverty
Hello everybody. I don't think now is the right timing for this, but I just heard about Kiva and I think we should consider setting up a mass money bomb for Kiva when our movement is nearing critical mass. Kiva.org is a website that connects the working poor small businessmen and women in other countries with microloans (<$1500) to grow their businesses. The money is paid back to the lender (you and me) usually in 6 to 12 months. This is the perfect replacement to US government foreign aid because it's voluntary and private. At some point if we could donate millions to kiva which would represent helping 1000s of people, this would show the world the power of our movement and the right way to help people other than redistributing taxes from rich to poor. What do you think? How could we "bundle" our contributions to show a large headline figure from the whole group? Seems like this wouldn't be too hard. A paypal account or something like that...Leave comments on whether you think this is a good idea and when.

This is another fabulous idea! Let's not only focus on just electing Ron Paul, let's demonstrate how Ron Paul's ideals work! I'm sure many who would otherwise hesitate may be forced to think!
We need to appeal to those who have been disenfranchised by the system and this is one great example. People who shy away from politics may be interested in this message. This may also represent a 'end around' on the media too!!!

I think this is a great way to show how the private sector can and does provide aid without force by the Leviathan. People are charitable when they have surplus money. People can't be charitable when the state takes all of their pay and then tells them how much they are allowed to keep.
