Rather than cooperating with investigators, Huckabee sued the state ethics commission twice and attempted to shut the ethics process down.

The point that seems to be missed is that if you look at the Hucksters campaign contributions you will see Tyson Chicken and Stephens Inc. These are Clinton cronies. Hillary made her stock investment with the help of a Tyson lawyer (Blake) and ended up with $100,000 from a $1,000 investment. Stephens Inc. is the same Stephens family that owned Worthen Bank (not sure of the spelling) that loaned Bill $50,000,000 in his first run for president. The Rose Law Firm, where Hillary worked as an attorney represented the Stephens family and conducted a nursing home scandal with him. These and other Clinton cronies would not support Huck unless he was a puppet candidate, giving Hillary an easy victory when the spotlight shines on his misdeeds. A vote for Huck is a vote for hillary!

How can one communicate with Evangelicals who believe Christians have an obligation to be at war with the descendants of Esau? Not waiting on prophesy to fulfill itself, they rush to make Armageddon happen right now. Peace is not on their agendas.

Once again they see a snake oil salesman with Christian credentials, he takes a cell phone call from God during a speech, and "unintentionally" shows a cross next to his head in a TV commercial......... and....Presto! ...... He's their next anointed. This level of pandering is hypocritical and disgusting. Too bad they can't see the "snake oil" part.

The man loves to accept gifts, he's a Big Government liberal, a CFR member, he's certainly not a conservative, and anyone who supports this illegal, immoral, destruction of Iraq IMHO is not a Christian either.

Unfortunately for most people, this election is once again a personality contest. They don't have the interest level to research, educate themselves and formulate their own opinions.

I'm a very conservative holiness preacher in Arkansas, and I can assure you and your friend that not all of the religious right are supporting the Huckster. He's a SNAKE! I am converting Huckleberry voters by the dozens here in Arkansas to Ron Paul. It's really not that difficult here because we know first hand what kind of a pro-life liberal he is. I just let christian people know that they can have best of both worlds with Ron Paul, i.e. family values and economic conservatism. With regards to the war, I have found that the best aproach is to give them a few videos like "Loose Change" or "In Plane Site," and that usually does them in on the legitimacy of endless war on terrorism. Remind your friend that the House of Reps just passed HR 1955 "Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act" which will allow the government to declare virtually anyone they see fit as a terrorist. Believe me the conservative christians and constitutionalists are on the top of their list. If your friend enjoys his religious liberties, then he had better vote for the only candidate that has vowed to protect them. Liberty certainly creates some strange bedfellows. So be it!

At one point or another, you have to let it go. Talk to someone who will actually listen.

Huckster said people who didn't agree to take taxpayer funds and give to illegals were drinking a different Jesus Juice than he does. You bet I drink a different juice than he does.
He said he would support the GOP candidate even if it's Rudy, who is a pro-abortion cross dresser.

If he still wants to vote for Tax Hike Mike after that, there's no hope for him.

If he is a Huck grassroots don't bash Huckabee. That will only close him off to anything else you tell him. Ask him what he likes about Huckabee the most. And really listen. Then when the opportunity is there tell him about Ron Paul in that area. Say something like Well Hucks position is good but the reason I like Ron Paul in this areas is because.. People are always more receptive if you approach them on their issues of concern.

Don't brow beat him respect his opinion and keep the communications open. When the opportunity arises listen to his side and then add your position. Don't act like your chomping at the bit to convert him. Just give your positions unassumingly when the opportunity arises it may take some time. When you push someone their natural reaction is to push back or away. Just plant seeds and watch for something to sprout and if it does then nuture it but don't over saturate!

Well if he is truly a conservative then he would be against Huckabee's huge tax increases in Arkansas. But if Huckabee was truly Pro-Life he would not have accepted a $35,000 consulting fee to help an Embryonic Stem Cell Researcher. He also would not accept the fact the Huckabee brought in the Mexican Consulate in Arkansas to help illegals get special paperwork allowing them to stay in Arkansas and get Arkansas aid.

Tell him that a lot of pro-war people support Ron Paul. The military people who support the candidate are not all "anti-war."

It is just that, while many of the bravest men were away, cowards on Capitol Hill were selling them out to the National Organization for Women and other special interest groups.

There is no way a heterosexual male could vote for anyone but Ron Paul.

Tell him that Huckabee's top campaign advisor is a Marxist feminist named Janice Cherry. Does your friend believe in Marxist feminism where the white man is out to exploit all the women of third world countries? Tell them that John McCain is the leading proponent of Internet regulation. He thinks that all single males are sex offenders until proven otherwise. Tell him to read about the IMBRA law at www.online-dating-rights.com. This law forces American men to have background checks just to be allowed to say hello to a foreign woman online.

Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo were the ONLY Republicans to vote against IMBRA and the new VAWA that stops many men from having any say at all if their wife accuses them of abuse (which can include hiding the car keys or raising his voice).

Tell them that Romney responded by saying "that's tough" when asked recently how fair it was that the Duke lacrosse players were falsely accused of rape and then almost railroaded by a prosecutor who had evidence that they were innocent.

Tell them that Julie Annie firmly believes that Americans in other countries are still subject to the laws of the United States.

If your friend is married and likes regulating "others" and doesn't see himself as possibly one of those "others"...it might be a tough sell. That describes a typical Democrat...but Fox News has brainwashed too many Republicans to think the same way in a different flavor.

Unless they're a very close friend and it bothers you that their thinking is askew, don't waste your time with this person. There are a lot of people you could be converting for the cause. It's easy to get stuck on one person, but sometimes you just have to move on.

That said, first find out what beliefs you have in common. Create a political rapport and see what issues are important to him. Find everything out about Huckabee's positions versus Paul, and when you feel there's an issue that you are sure he would support Paul on vs Huckabee, ask the question, "How does Huckabeen stand on the issue of... ?" and maybe follow up with "Oh, that's quite different than Paul's take. He says .... "

I have supported the Christian right position for many years. I felt that the left wing establishment was endorsing efforts to remove everything Christian from our lives. I in no way want to "push" my beliefs on others or wear them on my sleeve everyday, but I do want to be free to believe in my faith wothout political forces threatening me or my family.

The Republican party seemed to be the only way to ensure my voice was heard until Ron Paul came along. His position in my opinion is right on target. He wants to ensure all of us can keep our individual rights and not feel threatened by any "establishment" forces regardless of their belief system.

The Huckabee ad with the cross truly scared me. This is not what I want from my President, whether we have the same faith or not. I get that from church.

This site says Huckabee one of the the top ten most corrupt politicians. Ouch!

Add big government, children's health care (pre-cursor to socialized healthcare), and fair tax--which would probably force me on welfare or something.

But the best thing in my opinion is the issues he's not addressing: the Fed is a private bank cartel; the FDA does not let vitamin companies use scientifically proven facts in their marketing to protect big Pharm; NAFTA; National ID cards.

Also, WHY had Ron Paul's pro-life bill not passed when we had a rep congress? Maybe they campaign on principles but don't make anything happen?
