We live in a representative republic, where such representatives are elected democratically.

And, the consolidation of the media happened as a result of counterfeit money from the Fed and bankers being used to buyout and consolidate the media and Congress into a monopoly representing the fraudulent bankers themselves.

The core issue is not the media or even government, the core issue is the counterfeiting which funds the media and government.
