Paul Draws Hundreds to Event in Bettendorf

...Paul's crowd, which his campaign first estimated at 600-plus and later said topped 800, is the largest for a single candidate's event in the Quad-Cities this year. And though he didn't take questions from the audience, Paul's monologue drew several cheers and even one, "We love you, Ron."

What a speech!

I love how he, at 76 no less, can stand up there and speak for 50 minutes, extemporaneously, and never EVER run out of things to say, and hold people's attention because his content is so damn good.

I have never ever been so inspired and suddenly obsessed with any political candidate, ever. All you diehard Ron Paulers...I see what you are talking about!

Two months ago, I never paid attention to RP. Now...I don't pay attention to anyone else!

Merry Christmas everyone and Ron Paul 2012

Time to INVESTIGATE the investigators of 9/11. PROSECUTE the prosecutors. EXPOSE the cover-up.

Great Message, Great Speech, Great Audience

Iowa Loves Freedom.

Off the charts enthusiasm

"WE LOVE YOU RON!" at 43:50

"THANK YOU DR. PAUL" at 49:00

I don't watch other political candidates give speeches very often, but I really doubt their supporters blurt these sentiments out at the top of their lungs with that much enthusiasm, respect, devotion and love.

It always brings a smile to my face.

We really do love you, Dr. Paul!!!

They rise when the President enters the room..

It was spontaneous. Oh, to have this great man as our President!

Good video from Channel 8

Just LOVE seeing the completely packed and

standing room only to hear OUR guy.

All the young people eager to hear about liberty is just
so beautiful to behold.

We sure DO love you Doc!

Great To See

Good to see such a turn out. I fear that the war mongering will reach Iran in real ways as prophesied. Can a diamond smaller than the thickness of a human hair cause a world war?

Great videos, thanks for posting!

Awesome job, folks!

It was a fantastic event - I was there

I drove in from Indiana to start my reporting on the ground in Iowa. Check out my write up, here: http://iroots.org/2011/12/22/ron-paul-revolution-alive-and-w...

Wanted to catch the first part of his speech, but it just got ..

Better and Better.

He Knocked It Out of the Park!

Is that why Romney's numbers are crashing on intrade?

My God's not dead; he's surely alive. And he's living on the inside roaring like a lion.

Thanks, I needed that today! :)

This Video Cheered Me Up It...It Was Awesome!

After spending all day at the hospital of my mother who broke her hip in two places, this video deed indeed cheer me.

Thanks for posting RustyTX

I sent this video to Mediate

I sent this video to Mediate and HotAir. Explaining to them that I believe it's a great example of why we're so supportive of this man. I asked them to compare his bold, gutsy speech without a teleprompter OR EVEN NOTES (that I could see) to an Obama or Romney.

Only Gingrich could do such a thing and even then it's going to be partisan and with talking points. Paul is so damn genuine!

The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men and women to not support Ron Paul!

Ron Paul 2012!

An idea whose time has come cannot be stopped by any army or government or MSM!

51.5 Minutes is all it takes for Ron Paul

Dr. Paul in his element, speaking the truth.

Sent the link to as many fence sitters as possible.

Everyone needs to hear this speech.

Tide is Turning....!

That was good.

And near the end, mentioning the Second Amendment....Priceless.

That's what backs it all up.

The reason to own multiple weapons is not only is it cool because they are fun, but if it goes down, then you have weapons to arm others who suddenly understand you.

Speaking of that...

Where does the NRA and Guns Of America stand on Ron Paul?

fearless brave joyful peaceful loving grateful, compassionate

As far as....

.....GOA, Ron is A+

The NRA, who cares. They backed Harry Reid when he was running the last time. I'm not a big fan of the NRA. In 2008 they gave Dr. Paul a B. They are more "pro-lobby" than they are "pro-gun".

The crowds are growing! Lots of press there, too. I got interviewed by WQAD, and talked to a reporter from the Financial Times.
