Isolationist - Ron needs to emphasize that he isn't.
It's dissappointing that people keep referring to Paul as an "Isolationist". I think Dr. Paul needs to emphasize that he is not an isolationist. It's one thing to state that you should be friends with other countries and trade with them, but most folks don't understand that an isolationist is one who believes in non-interventionism AND protecionism. Why do people keep ascribing this label to him? It seems that as soon as they hear the word non-intervention then they can't wait to label him as an isolationist as quick as they can, so they can have something negative to say about his beliefs.
Go and check out the on-line
Go and check out the on-line poll at Bill Maher's site. Ron is kicking some butt there.

Rep. Paul on Bill Maher
Ron is doing a great job getting his talking points across with confidence and charisma, that along with his warm demeanor and true Republican platform has alot of people really paying attention to him and listening to what he has to say. The audience was very supportive of him on Bill Maher which is amazing since it is a very Democratic group so he may very well be the darkhorse/sleeper type candidate that can cross party lines and get the nomination like Reagan did. The biggest obstacle will be money but it is still early, with more tv debates and interviews to get him exposure he can raise enough money especially on the internet to make a go at the big money boys. As for Ben Affleck it was cool of him to make fun of Mitt, Rudy Julie and McCain but he didn't endorse Ron either.

What Ben Affleck Thought
I caught "Overtime" online after 'Real Time'. Ben Affleck does not appear to understand Dr. Paul's message as he mentions "Isolationist". He also said that many Americans believe in the Federal Government "New Deal" and are not ready to drastically reduce government programs.

Ben Affleck
I'm dying to know what Affleck thought of Ron.
What Ben Afleck thought
I watched Real Time last night, and while I can't read Ben Affleck's mind, he WAS listening intently, and nodding in agreement.
Ben also applauded after hearing Ronaldus Magnus II, aka Ronus Magnus, and shook his hand as Ron Paul was leaving.
Get this. Bill Maher gave Ron Paul a personal standing ovation as Ron was leaving.
IMO, Ron Paul is the only Republican candidate who can pull the "Reagan Democrats" and Independents over to the Republican ticket, AND WIN.
