when it get down to Mitt and

when it get down to Mitt and Ron, this video may become key...

it gets good those last 10 seconds!

LOL

“Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it’s realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy.”
― Ron Paul

that 30% for Romney is either

that 30% for Romney is either a LIE, or is extremely SOFT. Let them see Dr. Paul start winning a few primaries, and watch them abandon ship.

“Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it’s realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy.”

Please note about this poll...

This is not completely a national poll. Of the 1,036 polled, 146 were from Iowa and 105 were from New Hampshire, the two states where Paul is polling the highest. The poll states "Likely GOP voters in Iowa and New Hampshire were oversampled". This means nearly 25% were from only two states while the other 75% were from 48 different states. Although the poll results are optimistic it is a far cry from a Gallup, or PPP national poll. Because of this it will probably not be mentioned at RealClearPolitics.com. Don't kill the messenger. Oh. It did kind of floor me

Oh. It did kind of floor me that he had 17% so soon. However, there is a bright side. If 2 states oversampled can make his percentage so high, and we bust our butts like in those states in the near future, the sky is Ron's limit! :)
He I do not believe ever got to 10% nationally last election...

not sure about that:

i think he probably did after everyone else dropped out, other than himself and mccain.

Important statistic

Vote certainty (from those percentages):

Romney - 10%
Gingrich - 23%
PAUL - 41%
Bachmann - 17%
Perry - 12%
Santorum - 25%
Huntsman - 18%

This shows a couple of important things:
1. Ron Paul has easily more than doubled his support.
2. Romney has very, very shallow support.

Exactly What I Was About To Say

Sure doesn't seem 'unelectable' to me!

This poll is by far the most important thus far. If the media reports this (though I doubt they will) we would be over the top.

In short: EPIC GOOD NEWS FOLKS.

Nice

Here's a nice article about this poll with an awesome Paul photo at the top: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1211/70863.html

This is great news, and after analyzing the data a bit it seems that we can increase these numbers easily, by just pushing Paul's strongest issues:

Cutting taxes, cutting spending, less regulations.

It looks like the general public is very unaware at how much of a free market candidate Paul is, it's a bit sad that he is rated third on Budget deficit for more read my post: http://www.dailypaul.com/196561/pauls-weak-on-balancing-the-...

Nice article..I run into

Nice article..I run into people ALL the time that have hardly even heard of Ron Paul, in AR..Jefferson..where are those brochures?? :)

Maybe

it is true. Jay Leno was the tipping point. He laid the ground for respectable poll number in IA and NH and these numbers will push his profile nationally.

don't watch often, but Jay...

...usually seems to be reading a "PC" CIA-approved monologue. But nothing but PROPS for the GREAT job he did on "Ron Paul night."

Thanks

Posting on Twitter right away.

My guess after Iowa win the numbers will be much higher - people tend to support the winner - human psychology.

"Oh!! What a feeling... when we're _ _ _ _ _ _ _ on the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ !!!"

Full court press by the MSM against Dr. Paul

Google news for Ron Paul is pretty much 95% negative starting today. The establishment is soiling themselves and has resorted to shrillery (Is that even a word?).

is that even a word? lol

who cares! it's an accurate description of what they're doing.

Help!

The phrase "Shillery Clinton" is stuck in my head! Nooooooooo! :D

I love it

when the over run the play. That usually results in a big gain, and the occasional score.

People see through and are

People see through and are sick of the "race card" poisoning public discourse. They see and respect Ron Paul's integrity and consistancy and they see the unfair attacks on him by those who don't want to debate him on actual issues.

I also

think it comes down to everyone is just plain tired of fighting everyone. we fight other countries we fight ourselves the time for peace and prosperity is coming.

as we look back a few weeks from now

if all this nonsensical racism charge and his congressional fired staffers and all these desperate last ditch efforts, if even these last of the last attempts by the establishment backfire, and he actually surges in national polls more quickly than he otherwise would have, well, it's going to make a topic we can all laugh out heartedly about for weeks and weeks.

When It Gets Down to Ron & Mitt, Let Us Hope He Picks Up Votes

from all those other supporters from the other candidates still in the race but whom will be dropping out next month.

Great news! ...And wow, so

Great news! ...And wow, so the "emotional indicator" is just a cover story so they don't have to report that Ron Paul has doubled his national support in this poll? Hahaha!

It's only going to increase

as the campaign moves forward.

"It does not take a majority to prevail but rather an irate, tireless minority keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men."

Commentary

Commentary by Politico's Mike Allen:

“Iowa voters have the strongest emotional connections with Ron Paul. Ron Paul’s strong emotional connection is derived from a strong sense of trust voters have that he will deliver on his promises..."

Rad through that Emotional Linking

That document is showing that the MSM are getting their message across on deficit and national "Defense".

We need to be hammering out the fallacies of the Obamney/Romrich approach to national security. These are the two areas where RP scored the weakest (despite having the actual strongest platform! Gingrich - "I'm a cheap hawk"). This is going to be a nod to the MSM to keep doing what they have been doing.

But RP is definitely most trusted. That's a good foundation. I can't wait for the iowa debate. I'm hoping that Santorum and Bachmann drop out after Iowa (if bachmann gets single digits in her home state, she'd damned well better!), which should give RP more time to lay out his positions.
