You really think Palin loves

You really think Palin loves limited government?

You really think Palin wants to cut spending?

You really thnk Palin wants to end the fed which finances her beloved endless wars?

Palin

is a tool of the neoCon establishment. Not only will Sarah NOT endorese Paul..if he wins Iowa and New Hampshire, Palin will be called on to come out and try to persuade GOP voters NOT to back Paul...Palin will endorse Romney.

Agreed

with what you said.

Palin is a neocon tool, you are right.

I don't have to guess, I live in Idaho and know the folks who pimped her to the Ron Paul supporters here, and she is

It is this type of VP choice that would make me fear for RP's life.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

What gives man? You said look at those legs, so I went to your links and got neck up shots. Or are you illustrating the disappointment all RP supporters will feel when Palin ends up backing some scumbag like Newt or Mittens? Are you that clever?

RP is a Christian, so perhaps we can remember the words of his Lord (and mine, btw): He (or she) who is not against us is for us.

I've seen SP in some interviews, including alongside RP. I notice that she is clear in putting her views across, clear in outlining where she disagrees with RP without being rude, and polite to him. While she may not endorse him (and some RP supporters provide a good reason for not doing so), one shouldn't assume she can never come around to being a working partner. How else is RP going to govern, since there are only a handful like him in govt so far.

I'm not the biggest fan of

I'm not the biggest fan of Sarah, but since she left the center of political attention after '08, I have come to respect her more.

In a country whose political reality has been one of wedge politics, her endorsement of Ron Paul could do wonders to eliminate one of those wedges, as RP has done so many times. Sarah could help bring people together.

sarah, if youre here, ive got one question for you.....

you gave a warning about solyndra being just the tip of the iceberg pertaining to crony capitalism. i agreed with you 100%, and aplaudded your efforts to get the truth about our corrupt government out there to the people.

my question is this:

would you rather have four more years of a corrupt, money and power-grabbing government, breaking laws, blackmailing others, doing favors for friends, scandals, back room deals, the whole, business as usual crap, or, would you be willing to trust one of the few honest politicians we have left, who wants to restore our freedoms, restore sound currency and the free market, restore our country to the greatness it once was, and support ron paul?

anyone who loves our country should have no trouble seeing what should be the best choice.....

peace.
song

the choice for an

ron in 12!

she has spent the past 5 years

Learning about what she believes in lol. Between reading the constitution for the very first time and maybe the bill of rights she accidentally became a Ron Paul supporter.

Oh C'mon

That's silly about the whole 5 years, she was Elected as governor when she was 41- that is awesome! Of course she is still learning. Was Ron Paul in politics when he was 41? Yes he just started and Palin was Mayor etc before 41. Ron Paul has years to push National Politics, Palin has always been on a local and state level and really has only seen serious corruption on the DC level recently.

I'm just saying she is very good person, don't believe everything you hear, research just as you would ask those that don't know Paul today.

i agree

if she is growing as a person and her views are further evolving... then we shouldn't shun her from wanting to learn from our community here at the DP.

She seems very committed to being a "constitutional conservative" and hopefully as she learns more, those convictions will become deeper. She is human like the rest of us, and nobody here was born as all knowing.

TRUE, she does speak VERY OFTEN about things she doesn't understand and ends up putting her foot in her mouth, but let her learn and move forward. No reason for us to be filled with Palin hate. Life is too short and we need as many supporters for LIBERTY as we can get.

im sure she is a decent person

I was making a joke I forgot how popular we are now. But if she endorses Romney she's fair game.

I think she is a seeker

I think she is learning ... you guys know it took me awhile to come around. I believe I am a real christian with an open mind. I believe she is the same. We are the same age, and hung out with the same kind of people, both have large families ... she has 5, I have 6.

For those of you who do not have a evangelical back round , I understand its hard to understand where she is coming from ...

... it would take a lot of courage to come out against all the Neo-cons ... but standing alone is what we christians are able to do some times ... I put this up to try to give her the courage to do what I believe she knows is right in her heart.

None of us really know what she is thinking ... but she can be a king maker this time around and so I hope she gets to where I got in My support or Ron.

My take on Sarah

Palin. In 2008 she didn't have a good grasp on many issues, except energy. Since then I believe she has more in depth knowledge on foreign affairs (her worst in 2008), one reason is her son is active duty now, hopefully he is telling her that these "wars" are for corporate protection. Remember, she is young, has a HUGE following, and is still trying to position herself politically, I believe she is tinkering with the pro intervention position because she might think it is still popular. We must convince her otherwise, that is where we get her endorsement, and make no mistake about it, her endorsement would drive Pauls campaign to a victory, her supporters are loyal, vote, active and are in the millions. We need to convince her camp that the campaign for liberty is the future of the republican party, If she wants to run for a national position again, (which she definately will), She needs to get on the right side of the R pary.

Sarah, if you or someone in your camp reads this, Join Us. We are the future of the Republican party. Just look how far we have come in 4 years, Just think of how far along we will be in 10. Imagine running for senator or possibly president and having ron pauls army behind you?? Our domestic economic policies are more of a threat than any country or petty little gang like AQ.

Sarah did endorse Rand Paul

Sarah did endorse Rand Paul in the Kentucky Senate race, a landslide victory against the establishment.

She may not be a VP pick, but her endorsement is a very real possibility. Also would benefit our campaign tremendously.

There seems to be two tea parties out there, the original Ron Paul movement and a newer hybrid tea party. Sarah could definitely play a major role in bridging that gap.

I agree, we should welcome her.

Sarah would be GREAT

With all due respect, I completely disagree with the people saying that Sarah is a "sideshow" and that we don't need/want her endorsement.

I personally know of at least 10 "conservatives" who LOVE Sarah Palin, LOVE HER and I can tell you that if she came out in support of Dr. Paul, it would make those people think. It would be a direct counter to Hannity/Levin/Limbaugh because the people that love them, love her!

To 'not' know her is to love her.

The more you learn about her as a person, the shine comes off pretty quick.

With all due respect, the

With all due respect, the most important endorsement this campaign could get right now is Jim DeMint's. Sarah Palin is a sideshow now. Rand needs to talk his ol' South Carolina buddy into doing the right thing.

Huh?

I thought Jim DeMint already endorsed Ron Paul a while ago. Am I having a blonde moment?

Just a touch. He did endorse

Just a touch. He did endorse Rand in the midterm. Has declined to endorse in the presidential unless there is an unsuitable candidate vying for the win.

Double standards much?

Reading some of these comments, I'm amazed that anyone who has paid attention to the Democrat-controlled-media's hit jobs on Ron Paul (and been disgusted by them) are willing to swallow the Democrat-controlled-media's version of Sarah Palin hook, line and sinker.

We all started somewhere. The only person who started life in 100% agreement with Ron Paul is Ron Paul. Please don't insult people new to the movement by badmouthing someone based on media spin.

She has an ENORMOUS and active fan base and a track record of being anti-corruption, anti-establishment and pro-military. She's also a pro-life person of faith with 5 kids (like Ron Paul). She has complimented him repeatedly on economic issues.

Ron Paul and Sarah Palin have far more in common with normal Americans than Mittens Romneycare, Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman or Barack Obama do.

Re: Your incorrect assumption that anyone who doesn't like Palin

has swallow[ed] the Democrat-controlled-media's version of Sarah Palin hook, line and sinker.

Open your mind. First, realize that the media is not "Democrat controlled" but controlled by powerful corporations that are, amongst other things, heavily invested in war. They are charitable to Sarah because she is a neocon. She is consulted by hardcore PNAC neocon Randy Scheuneman.

Second, Sarah can claim to be pro-life, but she appointed a pro-choice judge to Alaska's Supreme Court.
http://prolifeprofiles.com/palin

Third, she did sign at least one email, "From your heavenly Father." To me, nothing says KOOK like pretending you are God.

Fourth, she is a liar. That is not a media construct: anyone can verify this if they take the time to study the matter objectively.

I don't even own a television, perhaps that is why I know more about Sarah Palin than a lot of people here: I read and research.

That email was about her special needs son

I read it and it was lovely...it was written as though it was a letter from God to her and her family regarding the preciousness of the special-needs child he was sending her (her son, Trig).

I'm kind of surprised that someone who is pro-life would have a problem with that.

Here is the letter, quoted in this article I found in the L.A. Times, while I was doing my reading and researching:

To the Sisters, Brother, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends of Trig Paxson Van Palin (or whatever you end up naming him!):

I am blessing you with this surprise baby because I only want the best for you. I've heard your prayers that this baby will be happy and healthy, and I've answered them because I only want the best for you!

I heard your heart when you hinted that another boy would fit best in the Palin family, to round it out and complete that starting five line-up.

Though another girl would be so nice, you didn't think you could ask for what you REALLY wanted, but I knew, so I gave you a boy because I only want the best for you!

Then, I put the idea in your hearts that his name should be 'Trig', because it's so fitting, with two Norse meanings: "True" and "Brave Victory". You also have a Bristol Bay relative with that name, so I knew it would be best for you!

Then, I let Trig's mom have an exceptionally comfortable pregnancy so she could enjoy every minute of it, and I even seemed to rush it along so she could wait until near the end to surprise you with the news - that way Piper wouldn't have so long to wait and count down so many days - just like Christmastime when you have to wait, impatiently, for that special day to finally open your gift? (Or the way the Palmas look forward to birthday celebrations that go on for three, four days_ you all really like cake.) I know you, I knew you'd be better off with just a short time to wait!

Then, finally, I let Trig's mom and dad find out before he was born that this little boy will truly be a GIFT. They were told in early tests that Trig may provide more challenges, and more joy, than what they ever may have imagined or ever asked for.

At first the news seemed unreal and sad and confusing. But I gave Trig's mom and dad lots of time to think about it because they needed lots of time to understand that everything will be OK, in fact, everything will be great, because I only want the best for you!

I've given Trig's mom and dad peace and joy as they wait to meet their new son. I gave them a happy anticipation because they asked me for that.

I'll give all of you the same happy anticipation and strength to deal with Trig's challenges, but I won't impose on you... I just need to know you want to receive my offer to be with all of you and help you everyday to make Trig's life a great one.

This new person in your life can help everyone put things in perspective and bind us together and get everyone focused on what really matters.

The baby will expand your world and let you see and feel things you haven't experienced yet. He'll show you what "true, brave victory" really means as those who love him will think less about self and focus less on what the world tells you is "normal" or "perfect°.

You will grow and be blessed with greater understanding that will he born along with Trig.Trig will be his dad's little buddy and he'll wear Carhartts while he learns to tinker in the garage. He'll love to be read to, he'll want to play goalie, and he'll steal his mom's heart just like Track, Bristol, Willow and Piper did.

And Trig will be the cuddly, innocent, mischievous, dependent little brother that his siblings have been waiting for_in fact Trig will - in some diagnostic ways - always be a mischievous, dependent little brother, because I created him a bit different than a lot of babies born into this world today.

Every child is created special, with awesome purpose and amazing potential. Children are the most precious and promising ingredient in this mixed up world you live in down there on earth. Trig is no different, except he has one extra chromosome. Doctors call it "Down's Syndrome", and Downs kids have challenges, but can bring you much delight and more love than you can ever imagine! Just wait and see, let me prove this, because I only want the best for you!

Some of the rest of the world may not want him, but take comfort in that because the world will not compete for him. Take care of him and he will always be yours!

Trig's mom and dad don't want people to focus on the baby's extra chromosome. They're human, so they haven't known how to explain this to people who are so caring and are interested in this new little Alaskan. Sarah and Todd want people to share in the joy of this gift I'm giving to the Palin family, and the greater Alaska family.

Many people won't understand_ and I understand that. Some will think Trig should not be allowed to be born because they fear a Downs child won't be considered "perfect" in your world. (But tell me, what do you earthlings consider "perfect" or even "normal" anyway? Have you peeked down any grocery store isle, or school hallway, or into your office lunchroom lately? Or considered the odd celebrities you celebrate as "perfect" on t.v.? Have you noticed I make 'em all shapes and sizes? Believe me, there is no "perfect"!)

Many people will express sympathy, but you don't want or need that, because Trig will be a joy. You will have to trust me on this.

I know it will take time to grasp this and come to accept that I only want the best for you, and I only give my best. Remember though: "My ways are not your ways, my thoughts are not your thoughts- for as the heavens are higher than the earth, my ways are higher than yours!"

I wrote that all down for you in the Good Book! Look it up! You claim that you believe me - now it's time to live out that belief!

Please look to me as this new challenge and chapter of life unfolds in front of you. I promise to equip you. I won't give you anything you can't handle. I am answering your prayers. Trig can't wait to meet you. I'm giving you ONLY THE BEST!

Love,
Trig's Creator, Your Heavenly Father

Yeah that is wacky, alright!

And if she loved Trig so much, she should have delivered him in Texas, not- by her own account- endangering his life by taking all kinds of unnecessary risks to deliver him at some tiny hospital in Alaska that doesn't even perform high-risk deliveries.

And she said in Going Rogue that she felt desperate, but sure didn't act like it!

...For someone who wrote in her memoir that “desperation…overwhelmed me” when she realized her amniotic fluid sac had ruptured in Dallas at 4 a.m. on April 17, 2008, Sarah was strangely indifferent to her baby’s fate. I describe how close she was to so many Dallas hospitals with neo-natal intensive care units, yet she felt no need to go to one, even though her baby wasn’t due for another month, and even though she already knew that his Down Syndrome and her age made the birth high risk.

Hell, Sarah didn’t even want to call her doctor!

I go into the hours that followed in great detail, pointing out that observations by others of her behavior every step of the way from Dallas to Wasilla cast doubt upon her version of events.

What’s new in the emails is proof that seven hours after being overwhelmed by desperation about the fate of her new gift from her Heavenly Father, Sarah was firing off BlackBerry messages, including one about Andrew Halcro, one of her opponents in the gubernatorial race of 2006, who’d started a blog often critical of her.

“What a goof he is…truly annoying,” she wrote in the throes of her desperation about Trig’s fate. She added, “I’m headed home from Dallas.”

We’ve all heard about compartmentalizing, but, hey, let’s get real: her great gift from her Heavenly Father is at risk of dying before he’s even born and Sarah is bitching about Andrew Halcro?

http://www.joemcginniss.net/trig-new-evidence-from-sarah-pal...

You make too many assumptions- first that I watch television, and then: "I'm kind of surprised that someone who is pro-life would have a problem with that."

Yet I never said whether I am pro-life or not.

Honestly, I ..

..really don't mind. She is welcome to lurk anytime she wants to.
