Anyone know what happened to Glenn Beck?

I stopped by glennbeck.com and he has apparently come down with some heinous something or other and has been in the hospital. His whole site has been changed out and he says he has a "new perspective?" Anybody know what happened to him and what his "new perspective" is? » |

I believe Glenn had real concerns and gave Dr. Paul a fair shake.
It sounds serious and I'm glad he has a perspective on our terrible medical system. I've traveled the world (3 time kidney transplant patient and done dialysis in Uzbekistan, Russia and other places) Trust me when I say that I would rather be in a hospital in Uzbekistan than an American hospital. Care is more than a new building. America has the worst and most overpriced medical system in the world.
I can get better care in Russia for 1/10th the price !
Enough ranting! I hope Glenn recovers and I can't wait until he gets back on the air.
I also rewarded him by buying his book. It's a good read.

I am so grateful he was so respectful to Congressman Paul. He said things I strongly disagreed with in the past, but at the critical moment he came through. Plus the interview was aired several times over several days.
I hope his illness wasn't retaliation. Maybe he crossed the line in offering Ron Paul a platform to speak from and was reprimanded. j/k...kinda.
Anyway, let's all pray for Beck.

Glenn Beck of Tarsus had a Ron Paul epiphany on the road to DC.
The scales have fallen from his eyes. He has taken time off to repent of his sinful ways.
Now instead of being the chief sinner persecuting Paulites he is preparing to launch his own personal crusade for the Ron Paul Liberty message.

I feel guilty
I was thinking he was off skiing with the family but was elated to see the Ron Paul interview re-run last night. I am happy for the re-run, but feel terrible that it was because he was ill.

Well it all started out fine. How it all ended with me in the hospital for 5 days and sent home with patches they give people (I found out later) who are at 'end of life' for pain is a journey I would like to forget, but know I won't anytime soon. Today, New Years Day, is the first time since Christmas that I have been able to even attempt to play with the kids so, needless to say, I am not going to make it back for broadcast this week.
My best friend Pat will be filling in on Thursday and Friday. I hope to be back on Monday and we'll all have great laughs at my expense. ... but maybe not ... as I told my doctor today that I was feeling a little better, he said, "You know, in 10 or 12 weeks you really will have gotten past most of the pain and will be able to laugh about all of this." My response? "10 TO TWELVE WEEKS???? WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?! YOU MAY BE GIFTED AT MANY THINGS --- BEDSIDE MANNER AIN'T ONE OF THOSE THINGS". :)
