Washington consultant to GOP establishment: Paul can't be "ALLOWED" to win Iowa

If you didn't think shady electioneering was in the works before, wait until you read this article.

How can anyone decree that a candidate not be "allowed" to do well in a state where he's a front-runner...unless mischief is in the works?

Mackowiak is calling for bullying! It's getting ugly out there....

------

"He cannot be allowed to gain momentum in Iowa, either within the Republican field or in preparation for a third-party general election run.

Our country's future literally hangs in the balance. Helping Paul win a victory in Iowa will not only be a wasted vote, but it will likely challenge the party's wisdom of permitting the Hawkeye State to hold the first nominating contest in the future."

just another neo-con parrot

who has never had an original thought in his life. Anybody want to bet he's nothing more then a fat boy chicken hawk?

Here's his website http://www.mattmackowiak.com/ I was totally shocked to learn that this chicken hawk worked in press at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security under Secretary Tom Ridge.

Just another loser that wants the military to completely bankrupt this country.

Heehee...this is so much fun. The BIG Gubermint Repubs are

being exposed for what they are not, which is "Constitutional conservatives".

Matt, if Ron Paul is not going to win the nomination, or the general election... what's the big fuss about?
Do you have any idea how you sound? Did you at least read this piece while looking in the mirror to guage it?

Now that I've had a little fun with you, here's the really scarry thing about Ron Paul; He will prevent any GOP candidate from beating Obama. It's already a done deal. Ron Paul or Obama. That's your choice. Either the country gets behind the good doctor now and works their butts off until next November or Obama gets 4 more. Done deal. Finished. Ron Paul doesn't even have to run third party. His followers (Republicans, Democrats, Independents and Constitution) are so committed they won't vote for any of the GOP fraudsters.

If you want to worry about something, worry about Trump. He's Obama's double agent. Trump took the attention off of Obama's birth certificate. And Trump will run third party on Americans Elect just to draw enough anti-Obama folks to guarantee Obama a margin. Trump is a Democrat and he doesn't want to give up his business and TV stuff. Hasn't voted Republican in 21 years. He's given over $300,000 to democrats including $50,000 to Rahm Emanuel.

Do these 'toe the line' Republicans think that once the party

picks their man for them that they'll suddenly listen to the voters when he gets elected? The clear message that the party is sending is "your vote doesnt matter-not for president, not for laws, not for policy-we decide it all- and DON'T vote for Ron Paul."

I wrote a comment and then

I wrote a comment and then found out I had to be on facebook, which I am not. Wish someone would post it to him, because he made me mad. Here:

Paul won't, Paul can't, over and over..did you ever read The Little Engine That COULD?? I hope you also have a license to tell fortunes, because all of your prognostications are mere charlatanism. OF COURSE the GOP is out of step with many Peace-loving Americans--that is why we VOTE. We shall see which ones of us support the Constitution and principles our country was founded upon, because if you do not agree with Ron then you also disagree with that. If so, FINE. Vote your elite candidate of choice--but PLEASE don't denigrate and prognosticate so depressingly at my choice. Ron would wipe the FLOOR with Obama and all the proof there is that he does not honor his oath of office. Not only he would, but he CAN.

Sounds like I'll

be wasting my vote :) And I really don't care when our caucus is held in the future, because I'll waste my vote again...on the incumbent...Dr. Ron Paul!!!! *middle finger from Iowa*

Paul "can't be allowed"

Whats up with the Republicans? This language is getting shrill. I thought this was a democratic process, I guess not. The more I hear this talk from the Republicans the more work we have to do to purge the neo-cons from the party. Maybe they can form a third party.

This is so Un-American it makes sick.

This is the political tyranny machine at its worst.

The Dems. nominated McGovern knowing that he would be crushed. The Repubs. nominated Goldwater ("In your heart, you know he is right!") knowing the same thing.

How times have changed.

Its the fight stage...

Dr. Paul is like Muhammad Ali playing rope-a-dope. These lame street media attacks don't hurt him. The American people see through it. Let them punch themselves out and we'll knock them over with a feather!

Dear Matt

Hello, this response in reference to your article written about:

Ron Paul can't be allowed to win Iowa
http://www.baxterbulletin.com/article/20111227/OPINION01/112...

First, you say that Ron Paul can not defeat President Obama. This is an outright lie. Several polls suggest that Ron Paul actually fairs best against Obama. It's been shown on the Drudge Report several times and I've seen it on several Rasmussen Polls. Mitt and Newt both have tons of baggage.

Why Romney can't get more than 20%:
Romney can't win the important evangelical vote in the south... They really despise Mormons. Plus, he looks elitist and common people struggling for jobs don't like how he is.

Newt is imploding fast. He is the ultimate Washington insider. He's flip flopped more than Romney they King on issues from the false global warming scare, hes taken money from goverment institutions, he's cheated on his wife. People just don't want a guy like this as their president. Newt even failed to get on the Virginia ballot and his campaign manager in Iowa quit. He has NO ground game anywhere either and he gained traction WAY too late.

The other candidates just do not have enough backing to make it. People make fun of Santorum constantly, Bachmann too. Both are war-mongering idiots and would be FAR more dangerous in the world. They are pretty much McCain part II. Perry's record isn't bad, but he can't talk to save his life.

Second, you say that Ron Paul won't win the nomination. Why Not? Shouldn't the "people" get the chance to decide that? What makes you say that? Ron's numbers have done nothing but go up. The more people that learn about him, the more people tend to like him. He has not been given a fair chance in the media. If they media talked about Ron Paul like they did every other candidate, his numbers would be double or even triple.

Why should Ron Paul be a team player when all the other candidates are not on the "peoples" team? I want someone who has my back. I don't want more government intrusion. I don't want the TSA further up my ass. I want budget surpluses, not shortfalls. I want to stop being aggressive in the world. I have friends in many other countries and they feel we are the bad guys and that we throw our weight around. People see the US as no longer a super power. China is taking over. If we just took HALF the troops from over seas out, do you realize nobody would even notice? Yet we'd save billions of dollars that could save our schools, and put people back to work.

Another thing to realize is HOW WELL Ron Paul does with independents. He easily has 40% of them. If the Republican Party embraced Ron Paul, he could easily defeat Obama. There would be no chance of him running 3rd party either :)

I think pretty much ANYONE could defeat Obama at this point. He has failed on so many levels. He has not kept his promises. He has added $6 TRILLION to the debt.

Ron Paul has been warning us for years about the Housing Crisis but nobody listened. He's been railing the out-of-control Federal Reserve, but nobody still listens.

If we don't do something quick, the US as we know it will be over.

You may choose to comment. The first few I've read have been quite articulate and to the point!

Have appt...But if I had the time right now, you can bet I WOULD! This article has literally laid it all out... We are NOT wrong; they think We the People exist to be used and discarded, for we count for nothing.

Is that what they are calling those of us who believe in our country's founding documents? I could never reply to this article..it is like I would have to say something on just about every sentence. Where in H does this guy GET this stuff?

Not even going to repeat the malarkey she spouts...but will make you bite a nail in two. Feel I need to share it with someone...but not here. Certainly does lay out the attack plan of the MSM and... the GOP.

...are in great form. I found myself smiling and thinking "wish I had said that" as I read. There is no reason to be unduly rude or vile when the truth is on our side. In fact, I think it provides the "other side" ammo to fling back at us. Right now, they seem to be doing a good job all by themselves. For example, I heard a fill-in for Rush this morning say that he agreed with Ron Paul's economic policy, but "the majority of his policies can hardly be considered acceptable to the Conservative Republicans." No, of course not because they are not truly conservative, they are neocons and worse. It seems as though many of these pundits are stepping in it all by themselves.
