He answered that fear instilled by mass media of leaving Iraq and Pakistan with grace. O'Reilly tried to box him and he danced around it with complete understanding that it has to be done in orderly prudence.
After getting him off he put on a Military officer and continued that leaving Iraq and Pakistan is a crazy idea and it would put Americans in 1000 times more danger.
Ron Paul needs to address this real fear by the majority of voters and maybe get Chalmers Johnson on the speaking circuit. Even mention him directly on Blowback and Empire building and the consequences so other can do some research, This unknown fear is real.
In a sense, that gas-bag O'Reilly was right in calling RP 'frightening'. If I lived my life by the hodge podge of half-baked ideas that BOR does, I'd be frightened of RP, too.
Otherwise, the gentleman from 'Reason' was quite articulate and, well, reasoned, and gave the appearance of being objective in his critique of RP's platform, unlike O'Reilly.
Sorry for the name-calling. Ron probably wouldn't approve of that. Ah well...

Bill O'Reilly let him speak more than I thought he would. For a moment I thought his mic might be cut or something. Bravo Mr. O'Reilly for setting standards so low on your show that I'm impressed you let such a "radical" viewpoint even be spoken.
they are talking about indecent exposure.....
they only discuss the most important issues! how dare someone expose the absolutely offensive human body?
(what about all the mutilated bodies of children in iraq?)

My opinion
Bill O'Reilly did not make sense. I'd rather have our troops in less countries and here at home.

Nice Job
Mr. Gillespie , I wish we all could handle Billo with such grace .
Oreiley is SUCH A #@$%^!!!!
I hate that guy. He of course is so closed minded and obstinate. I relish the day that FAUX is relegated to the trash heap of old media.
