Some day, when this is over...
I hope to meet you and the rest of the Daily Paul gang in a friendly pub. Doesn't matter where. As good as it is to contribute to the dialogue here, to help the campaign along, to share our outrage at the media insults and savor the triumphs - knowing our Republic is/was at stake - we have plenty of good reasons to hoist a glass and toast each other. We are the friends, joined by a common purpose, who have not yet had the pleasure of meeting. I hope that will happen, and that it's at the inauguration. In the meantime, I raise my glass to you.
.

It will be too big!
There will be too many supporters to ever meet in one place (especially tough for us in Alaska!) but I'm sure the locals can get together in all manner of celebration.
RON PAUL 2008
"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." - Romans 12:18
Brilliant article that explains why we love Dr. Paul:

A good thought!
I, along with two other comPatriots and Ron Paul supporters, worked a gun show today. We handed out literally hundreds of slim jims, bumper stickers and yard signs. You talk about a diverse group of supporters?! Wow. From all backgrounds and shapes and sizes and colors.
I had a blast. Almost talked myself hoarse. Going back for one more day.
A huge gathering is in the works.
In Liberty's Cause
the place is huge!
I will be at that party, but it may be the largest gathering of free people in the history of mankind....perhaps there is not enough beer in the country for such a toast, but I am willing to take the chance!
Wouldn't That Be Fun
I've been involved in the campaign since June. The most fun part has been getting to meet many supporters here in the Bay Area. What a group. Everybody is so different, yet we are all passionate about Ron Paul, freedom, and our country. And all are well read. It's been a blast for me. To those of you who've never attended a Meetup, you're missing out on huge fun, too bad for you.
I really, really like Ron Paul people. You all make me smile and have brightened my life. What a kick it's been. I love us.

Would that be a Samuel Adams
Would that be a Samuel Adams we'd be toasting with? Seems appropriate to me.
We should have a Ron Paul
We should have a Ron Paul Convention

Cheers!
It will be the biggest inauguration party of all time! Look forward to seeing you and everyone else there. Great article.
Inaugural Ron Paul Meet Up
No one mentioned the Inaugural Meet Up #379 http://ronpaul.meetup.com/379/?gj=sj3
but sounds like y'all are planning to be there--our next meet up is at the swearing in ceremony in Washington DC, but we have lots of good discussions in the meanwhile.........
Ron Paul or no one at all.
There isn't a bar...
big enough to hold all of us...
Maybe we could take over a state for the day... :)

or perhaps
if he does not get elected president we could at least elect him governor of that state.

... to life, liberty and the persuit of happiness... to the r3VOLution!

...not old enough.
If i were old enough to have a drink with all of you i certinly would...untill then i raise my Coca Cola to you all!
...old enough to help decide the fate of the country and to die for it...but not old enough for a drink...
too old
Stirner.
Well, I think my internal apparatus could handle maybe 3 beers... but I would be happy to raise them (one at a time) in a toast for Ron Paul! By the by, the drinking laws were, if there were any, not much in evidence when I was young (way back when). Could drink if we wanted to, no "Nanny State" telling us that we were to die for it but not able to drink in it. Alas. In Belgium, where I have spent some time, young people can drink at almost any age... but at Leuven, the highschool kids like Coke with Beer, or vice-versa! I never saw a "really" drunk kid when I've been there. Getting sick drunk seems only to be a rite of passage in our country.
Stirner.
It's interesting, isn't it?
At 16 I had my license.
I had to wait two years to vote.
Then I had wait 3 more years to drink alcohol.
Always struck me as odd, but hey. Here's to the cola companies. Cheers!
Jesus is my Lord and my God, and Ron Paul, champion of all things freedom, including religion and the free exercise thereof, is my choice for president.
Coca Cola is fine.
.
No problemo. I will drinking Ginger Ale !
Just remember in a bar
Just remember in a bar Ginger ale is just 7-up(sprite) with a little squirt of cola. Tricky huh?
Margaritaville
When I arrived at the rally in Cheyenne, Wyoming it was less than 1 minute before I was visiting with the gang of supporters. I was probably the oldest in the crowd and it was like a family reunion. It brought tears to my eyes.
The supporters there were young and smart and I was so proud....I still am, of all of you...and I can still tie one on! See ya at the party.

We'll Have an Inauguration Party!
I'm Joining the Party!
As a fellow RP junkie and old libertarian war horse I'm now glad that when they said "you have to join the party" they didn't just mean that GOP registration! So this is my first comment on "Daily Paul"...although not on RP friendly blogs.
On a more serious note, yes, there would be lots of work to do in the wake of the good doctor's inauguration. For one thing there would probably be a major party reallignment of the likes that hasn't been seen since 1856!
I agree that is a great Idea
I suggest everyone who is for it should donate for the TxRedneck money bomb and post the city to hold it in. The most money wins!!

Pastor Paul (Im a ruskii) will drink 1 or 3 or 5 with ya!

"Victory for liberty! That is our goal, and nothing less. -- Ron Paul, December 17, 2007"
Ron Paul is my President.
Before the hoisting begins...
Let's get on our bikes and ride a few miles with Ron. I've already invited him to my neighborhood; won't you come too? Quiet country roads, the wind at our backs, and freedom in the air.
Revolutionary Pub Party
Admittedly, I don't drink, but I would love to get together as a whole group to share our victories, dreams, struggles and even raise a glass of cranberry juice cocktail :) I trust that day will comes on the heels of a Mr. President inagural speech from Dr. Paul. But no matter what I consider the men in the Revolution my brother's and father's in freedom and the women my sisters and mother's in freedom. I treasure each sane and insane idea that have all been a blast to see to fruition. With every success and failure we have held on to the joy of a phone call or email or blog post by one stronger ourselves for that moment. Other times we made the phone call to a forlorn freedom fighter badgered by the frustrations of collectivism. We healed wounds together and raised a banner loud and strong for all the world to see. We are still doing all of these things. So with Zenpiper (and to Zenpiper) I too hope to meet you all in a pub or at a park or wherever we can enjoy time and fellowship together.
Thanks for posting this Zenpiper.

CHEERS!

I too look forward to that time!
rePUBlic party!
This is a great idea, if Ron wins we will drink to the prosperity of the nation! If he loses... we'll just drink away our troubles I guess :(

Here is to freedom...
Cheers!
It's been quite a ride... And it ain't over yet!!!!
You betcha. I'll even host the event. I'm in Dallas/Ft.Worth so it is centrally located. I've been a Ron Paul Junkie for so long now I'll probably have to go through withdrawals once he's elected. But we don't have to stop. We can continue the Revolution and get congressmen, senators and governors elected that follow the Ron Paul platform. Whatcha think?
Winning the Presidency is only the beginning...
After he becomes president the battle will just be starting. We have an entire Congress (534 members minus our guy) and the senate (100 members) to get rid of either by the ballot box or the jury box (arrest them). This effort to clean out our fully corrupt government will just be getting started. This is not to mention the debauchery at the state and local levels. We have only just begun!
Absolutely
Getting Paul in office is just the warm-up. We're going to throw the bums out of Congress and state governments, too.
Cheers!
Cheers.
