I wish whoever wrote those newsletter items in question.....

would be man enough and come forward and admit it. Ron is taking way too much flack for this. Ron is a decent American and should not have to cover for some idiot who wrote some of that stuff.

That is absurd. Do you think

That is absurd. Do you think the media is going to go quietly away after that is sorted out? NO! They will just harp on him more and say why did you hire and associate with racists, why don't you disown this person now? Why don't you devote your life to destroying this person? It will live on and on.

Besides, what incentive does Eric Dondero have to come forward and face the music anyhow?

Let's not forget

that there are only a handful of these comments out there. There were probably hundreds of newsletters printed and I've heard the same few repeated on every news show. These comments make up probably far less than 1% of all that was printed in these newsletters. I don't think it matters as much who wrote them as what is Dr. Paul's record. His record refutes the notion that he is a bigot.

LCD

Lowest common denominator ... After all, if everyone else swims, you must too. ;)

Using mainstream news logic,

Using mainstream news logic, is it safe to say that with Chris Wallace's remarks that AIDS only affect gay people that Wallace is a homophobe?

Ron Paul's message of

Ron Paul's message of non-interventionism, balanced budgets and Constitutional government is incredibly mainstream and popular. After all, it's what America is supposed to be about. Ron did an excellent job of getting his message in there; and of course, the interviewers immediately jump right in with accusatory questions about the newsletters and AIDS and the Civil Rights Act trying to derail him by attempting to put him on the defensive.

The media is a big part of the Federal Reserve System. In the 1930s, American newspapers and radio stations were purchased with Fed money during the Fed-induced Great Depression. The television networks were capital intensive endeavors, and where did the capital come from to build these networks? Where do the millions come from to finance Hollywood movies, most of which lose money?

Ron is never going to get a fair shake from the "mainstream media." Our media is a cartel with a false "left/right" facade. An audit of the Fed would be interesting. We might find out where "investors" get their cash to build these organizations, and it would explain a whole lot about the slant in the American media that is becoming more and more obvious to more and more people.

Those of us who understand Ron can get past the media attacks. The tough part will be to get the unawakened to see past the media's constant newsletter pestering, the bizarre "reporting" on polls, the guilt by association, etc.

The graphic which showed Santorum ahead of Ron made me spit up my beer. The only people at Santorum rallies are a handful of reporters who were given the assignment but would rather be elsewhere. But the Santorum "surge" is national news? Give me a break.

Man..

Ron is getting tired, tired, tired of the same smear angled questions and you can see it. At what point does the MSM begin to look like a bunch of dicks to the average NON-RP supporter for these attempts. I mean at some point even someone who doesn't like Ron is going to get sick of these broken records going on and on and on.

I think the point was made in 2008 that he didn't properly manage his newsletter, shit happens. But I think they have slipped in the news letters on every single interview for a month now, at every single station. Now that the entire plant has heard it discussed, 98 times, can we move onto ANYTHING else by chance?

They say IA doesn't like negative campaigning. So far the MSM has done the most negative campaigning I have ever witnessed. Doesn't this make the MSM self defeating in their quest? Sooner or later IA voters are going to just shut the damn TV off. I can't imagine whats going on in that state right now, but I have a bizarre feeling this little circus they turned IA into, and all the criticism it's come under for RP's popularity, must be tiring for them too.

Two more days IA! Hang in there!

Exactly.

Exactly.

It goes to show that it

It goes to show that it wouldn't have matter how Dr. Paul handled the newsletters. The media doesn't care. Ron handled this right actually. All the media is going to do is attack him, over and over. They are going to flood every media stream they can - newspapers, tv, radio - you name it. If not the newsletters, it'd just be something else.

Refined;

Ron has been trying to refine his message and it's showing and coming through clear, if one can hear. Loved the interviews and thought he pointed out the interviewers "no emphasis" placed on major issues; and that the people, numbers, and evidence are with him, now, in 2012! Happy New Year

Live Feed, Please, So I Monitor the Broadcast

When Ron is staring into a camera, I doubt that he is looking at a live feed of the actual (recorded instead of live) broadcast so he can't see all the misleading props, e.g. biased polls, former disgruntled employees (infiltrators), that the viewer can in the final production. If I were doing these interviews, I'd insist on a LIVE feed within my field of vision while looking into the camera with absolutely no editing allowed (LIVE broadcast). It might be a bit distracting at first, but I'd never participate in even a LIVE interview without seeing a live feed of the actual broadcast. I probably would NEVER appear in a recorded interview without a contractual say over the final production. These media hacks are masters of deception.

Youtube Video

Check out the video of MSM and how they change their tune about Iowa compared to the last election, these people are the children of Satan, total bias!!

Great video. Thanks.

Great video. Thanks. Interesting to watch Rachel Maddow go after the only antiwar candidate.

The MSM is giving it the old college try before Iowa

The political and media Establishment are all set to discount a Paul showing in Iowa, but still, in their arrogance, try to take him down before it gets that far. The other candidates get the odd non-hostile question, but not Ron Paul. Still he did well in promoting his ideas in these interviews.

No accident having Ron Paul

No accident having Ron Paul on all these major networks 2 days before the caucus. This was an obvious establishment attempt to do as much damage to Ron Paul on national TV before the actual caucus. Throw as much mud as possible and get him as low as possible.

On the other hand, Ron didn't

On the other hand, Ron didn't have to appear on these shows... He could've quite easily sent a representative. He's doing too much by himself. Get a spokesperson to go on some of these shows.

It sure looks like it. The

It sure looks like it.

The guys at the top of these "news" organizations travel in the same circles. It's almost like a couple of phone calls were made to get Ron on there and then slam down the race card, then promote the ridiculous "Santorum surge."

I've got my fingers crossed that the people of Iowa won't be so easily swayed.

Mega-flip-flopping at its finest!

1. He invents ObamaCare - I mean, RomneyCare
2. He is against ObamaCare and promises to repeal it
3. He then says he will keep the good parts of ObamaCare and get rid of the bad, thus not actually repealing it.

Not Yet

Romney hasn’t really attacked Paul yet, and as much as Romney looks like the threat at the moment, I really don’t think it is a good idea until it is a two man race.

That first video you showed, I actually agreed with what Romney was saying. We should have let, the big three fail, we should have let homes be foreclosed on, and Scalia and Thomas are two pretty good Supreme court justices.

Your second video shows that Romney is for not imposing his beliefs on others, and he has changed his position, which is what pro-life people want, we want people to become pro-life. People aren’t totally aware that affirmative action is a bad thing, and they will look at the video as a good thing.

The third one is okay, because it shows his flip flopping. Kind of funny music too.

The fourth one mitt Romney defending marriage is a good thing for republicans they will like that.

The fifth one was pretty good.

The sixth one is just the media playing their media game that we constantly are calling them on, Do we now support the MSM?

seventh one is a DNC attack and is kind of stupid, Ron Paul supporters can make much better videos than that one.

Eighth is good for Giuliani, but it is boring and I could hardly make it through. It might be good to turn part of it into a Ron Paul Ad. How Ron Paul won’t flip flop and Barack can’t handle the impeccability of Ron Paul’s record.

Ninth video can also be used against Ron who has been in congress for a while and twice.

I am not trying to come down on you, I just think attacking him right now, when he hasn’t attacked us will not be the proper role at the moment. Ron Paul’s message against Romney will stand up easily, he’s not our problem at the moment.

As the others drop out we won’t be fighting with Romney it will be the last man standing behind Paul and Romney. We need to wait for Tuesday to see who that third person is and attack there. Romney will fall quickly when we get to his flip-flopping and being just like Obama. We need to get that support that Romney isn’t getting and these others are getting.

If NOT NOW, then WHEN?

After IOWA & NH, the sheeple will be convinced that Romney is the GUY! THE MEDIA will continue their attacks on PAUL in each state, one state at a time! The Campaign IMO has not been that assertive or aggressive & they have left alot of the hard work to us the supporters! That is backwards IMO, the campaign has not been strong with many issues! We give the campaign $$$ & we expect them to charge ahead, set the record straight & show Ron Paul as the best CHOICE, we - the supporters have done a MUCH BETTER JOB than the Campaign has IMO, but yet they ask more of us each & everyday! It's time for them to STEP IT UP A NOTCH OR 2, 3, or 4!!!

Agree with your assessment

I agree with your assessment, it does seem like at times the campaign takes a step back and then he has videos interviews like today that seem to push him 3 steps forward. As much as we think the Campaign has tons of money because of the continual money bombs, it is a paltry amount compared to Romney’s. BTW what does Romney do with all that money?

We aren’t going to get Romney out of the early Race, he is considered the Chosen one. Yet as Giuliani pointed out, how is it that a guy with so much money, and who has been campaigning for the past 4 years can’t seem to get above 25% in Iowa, and can’t seem to get up above 40 in NH, and is actually considered to be sliding down in NH. If these sheeple were going to be on the Romney train they would be there. I don’t think we can get to many Romney supporters, but Romney will have a harder time getting supporters from the other candidates, except maybe Newt. What’s that? Newt is doing what?

http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/01/01/gingrich-plans...

Newt is going to do our leg work for us in New Hampshire. Which will pit them against each other and push more supporters toward Paul. Remember everybody still thinks Paul doesn’t have a chance so they will continue to ignore him and jockey for the top spot, dismissing all of us indecent Americans. Winning in Iowa will help to push for a win in South Carolina.

“If Ron Paul comes in first, then all of a sudden there’s a scary bogey man we’ve all got to rally around – look, Mitt might not be our guy but we can’t let it be Ron Paul.” said Warren Tompkins, a longtime strategist who worked on Mitt Romney’s 2008 campaign and today announced he would be advising the campaign on a volunteer basis.

HA, I say again Ha. A Romney spokesperson is telling Romney supporters it can’t be Paul. Who the hell cares what he thinks? How did that strategist help Romney in the 2008 campaign? At the moment some people may be saying it can’t be Paul, but when it comes down to Paul and ObamaLite, who do you think they are going to run to?

BTW I know Ron Paul would never say this, but if he does he gets the nomination in a landslide:

“If congress declares war on Iran, I will bomb the F#$% out of them for you, but unless congress declares war I can’t go against the constitution.”

AGREE Freedom3.....

What do you think is the best of the bunch that you've found so far?

I Like Them All!

This is just a sample, People can do their own research and find better ones, I don't care - but I do feel that Romney is the chosen one, the rest will endorse him eventually & Ron Paul needs to break the Romney Romance!

I only wish...

RP did great in all these interviews.

I only wish that every time he gets criticism of his foreign policy that he'd always lead off with that he has gotten more donations from active duty military than all the other candidates combined. And, that they know, better than any, the unnecessary blowback we've created by our current interventionist policies. And, that anyone that will look closer than an attack soundbite at our foreign policy proposals will clearly see why our brave soldiers find them so very compelling and attractive, too.

ABC

Not as good as the Fox and CNN interviews. I like that he cut in and completely denied the 9-11 stuff, but he should have done it without appearing to attack the interviewer. Still, good job overall.

All of these interviews went much better than I expected.

Actually, I like that he attacked the interviewer.

Why do you think Newt Gingrich soared in the polls? It was because he treat Chris Wallace and others with as much contempt as they treat the candidates. These smug jackasses complain about the virulent responses of supporters of Ron Paul. People respond angrily when these jackasses use their billion dollar "bully pulpits" to lie, distort and smear candidates and their supporters. Quite frankly, I cheered when Geraldo Rivera got his nose broken for deliberately staging a confrontation between civil rights activists and skinheads. Ironically, Geraldo is now boosting Ron Paul. Maybe a broken nose or a first class beating, preferably at the hands of federal or military law enforcement, would give Wallace the proper "attitude adjustment". They used to say in the 70s, "A conservative is a liberal who has just been mugged." I say, "A libertarian is a neocon who has just been tazed."

LOL!LOL!

"A libertarian is a neocon who has just been tazed"

GREAT!!!

Yes

Yeah, ABC interview wasn't so good. Think it's a bit much to schedule 3 of these back to back and not expect to get frazzled a little. The 9/11 question was not handled well, but I think it's because Dr. Paul is tired. I'd probably be even more tired than him, but I wouldn't schedule 3 major Sunday morning interviews back to back either.
