I agree with stacks. If Ron

I agree with stacks. If Ron Paul answered the interviewer, the issue would have went on and on. The way it was handled, the issue was stopped dead in it's tracks and erased.

The 9/11 question was handled

The 9/11 question was handled perfectly in my opinion. Shut it down before it even starts.

same old questions same twists and turns

It baffles me still, when people say things derogatory about Ron Paul purely based on rhetoric from talking heads. It appears as though no one or at least very few can generate an original thought. I often follow any protests against Ron Paul with, “What makes you believe that.” Or, people that are saying that, Ron Paul is “to the left”. How is abiding by the constitution anywhere near the left.
For almost 150 years our country grew and prospered, we grew to recognize individual liberties that were intrinsic to human beings regardless of race or gender.
We made quality products and were proud to purchase what was made for us, by us.
But somewhere along the line we have strayed, our products became about profit, not pride, we could increase the profit margin by having things made to a despairingly inferior quality overseas. It became fashionable to take a company public, because it afforded immense amounts of money to be generated by investors hoping for only a small piece of the enormous profits to be had. It removed the responsibility to the consumer to create a quality product, into the hands of the stock holder in the form a fiduciary responsibility to pay dividends. So in this equation only two people suffered the American employee, and the American consumer. It’s easy to stand back, and just say “We can’t do anything about it.” Really? Do this. Ask your kids and friends who they are voting for and why, and ask them if they understand their Constitution, only one in one hundred can even tell you what it is. What it was intended to do for our country? It was meant to preserve our Republic. Ben Franklin was asked as he exited the construction of the constitution what we had given them, his response was,”A republic if you can keep it.”
We have a chance to change our government back to what it was intended to be, we can vote for Ron Paul, and then when the House and Senate don’t co-operate with him, we can vote in those who will.

Love of God , Love of Country, Love of family, Love of Life, Love of Liberty. I would take a bullet for this man.

He looks tired...

I'm so proud of him for fighting so hard for all of us.

A 30 year old marathon runner

A 30 year old marathon runner would get exhausted by a Presidential campaign. So I'd say that Paul is doing pretty well.

More domination on the issues. Just like Fox, they tried the 'gotcha' questions and he threw them back in their face.

Perhaps the best news is that Ron said he expects to come in 1st or 2nd. He's not one to sugar coat, so the Santorum stuff must be an invention of the media.

Wow, Very Good

Despite the obvious slanderous attacks, I think Paul did VERY good in these lengthy interviews. He kept calm on the attacks, and was passionate, clear, and authentic in his answers.

Even to people who don't know Paul, he's talking about stuff nobody else is: the racist and corrupt War on Drugs, the unjust foreign wars, and the Patriot Act.

I think this will definitely help him in getting last minute "Blue Republicans" who switch from Democrat or Independent to Republican so they can vote for Paul.

Tell me

of another 76 year "young" man that can go 18 hours a day, roughly 7 days a week, all while travelling 1000's of miles in the process.
He has pushed himself to the limit as you can see from his obvious exhaustion. To top it all off, he STILL tries to exercise patience with the non stop attacks and ridiculous attempts to discredit his candidacy.

I never cease to be amazed at the sacrifice he's made to try and get our country back on the right path. He's LITERALLY putting his life on the line.

When I look at some of these "black Friday shopping" videos, and some of the other indicators that show just how ignorant and rotten much of our society has become, I sometimes can't help but think that America doesn't deserve a man of integrity like Ron Paul.

He doesn't do this for power, or prestige, or to stroke his ego. He's doing this because he knows that once you learn the truth about the level of corruption, you are obligated to do something about it.

Hang on tight. It's going to be a wild ride in 2012.

Yes, Ron Paul energy and stamina is INCREDIBLE!!!

Recently, I was thinking to myself and trying to imagine what it would be like to live "in the shoes" of Ron Paul's current lifestyle. Constant travel, multiple daily interviews, always have to be focused on what you say and have to keep your thoughts in order within a short scope of time.....and to pull it off almost every single day at the age of 76. Heck, to pull off those responsibilities at ANY age would be super-challenging. I am sooooo glad that RP is surrounded and supported by passionate folks who are devoted to "getting his back" at any time and any moment. Thank God that we the people have a political leader and hero named Ron Paul who gives us strong HOPE and excitment for the future of our beloved United States of America.

PRAY, PRAY, PRAY, and pray some more

Jefferson said, "He's LITERALLY putting his life on the line."

I Pray EVERYDAY that Jesus sends his angels to protect him and his family from all who want to harm them.

PLEASE include Dr. Paul and his family everyday in your prayers.

I pray for Dr. Paul.

I'm worried about him. I actually found the interviews painful to watch because I don't like to see him have to constantly defend himself.

We love you Dr. Paul!!!

Thank you for being our voice and fighting so hard for our liberty. Thank you for putting your life on the line for us.

Fox interview

He knew it was going to be a hit piece, and he did an EXCELLENT job. He was clear and concise, and didn't give Chris much room for rebuttal.

About as good as could have been expected.

It's tough when they are throwing knives at you

But I think Paul did pretty well deflecting them and even catching a few and flinging them back.

I don't think it's ever good to have to deal with agressive news hit pieces.

However, we can take heart in one thing, most people were out partying last night and slept in. I missed all the interviews myself.

Also, I think people for the most part distrust media enough to see cheep shots, sandbagging, and hit pieces when they see one.

Have Faith! And keep working! And try to have the
"Patience of Paul"

I strive for that everyday

Candy whatshername......

The woman on CNN. I have seen her interview Dr. Paul before and one thing I do like is that she allows him to answer questions fully. Not the irritating FAUX News interruptions, sneers and snarky tired bullshit that every one of their slimeballs use.
While I wish she would get to some actual issues I like the fact that she pretty much let's Dr. Paul answer the questions. I can barely watch Chris Wallass talk out the side of his face anymore spewing the same tired bullshit.

SteveMT's picture

She did allow Ron Paul time to answer.

This interview was the fairest of the three, IMO.

I may recall that immediately following the Ames straw poll where no one wanted to speak Ron's name after he almost tied for the win, Crowley was one of the on-site commentators that was fully dismissing him. Now she had to conduct a lengthy interview with him that was broadcast at the top of her show.

Somehow, she really rubs me the wrong way.

His response on the question about the Civil Rights Act is a great example of separating the facts from the poison pill, hot button type question. He did a great job on that one, and it seems to me like they think they've hit on a dangerous follow-up to the newsletters. Too bad, he's doing a great job being ready for it.

Same with his answer to the Chris Wallace bit on AIDS patients paying for their own treatment. I seriously don't know what Wallace expected him to say, but he did a great job with that one, too.

Wonderful job Ron

All three interviews were clearly attempts to discredit Dr. Paul with heavily biased, misinformed and poisonous questions, and yet he handled all three interviews with aplomb. Its amazing. I don't know how he does it, but I was so buoyed by his responses I kissed the screen.

I will do everything in my power, limited as it is as a Canadian, to ensure this man gets elected.

Dr Paul did great!

He was very good in all three interviews today. If people just will listen to him.

taking turns

each of these criminals taking a shot at DR Paul to try to trap him into saying something they can use against him. Another example of how the machine is compromised and these alleged journalists are just little tools of their corruptness.

WIN or LOSE in Iowa we must remember that this is just one small battle and there will be plenty more to come. We must guard against being disappointed if it doesn't come out as we like as well as thinking that the outcome is definitive. The battle between good and evil is as old as life itself and is not due to be done any time soon.

GOD BLESS RON PAUL- the hardest working and most dedicated person on the planet. WE WILL NOT STOP!

Live free or DIE!

Last Minute Smear Attempts

I don't really want to comment specifically on these interviews because they're just more of the same.

However, when Ron and Rand start campaigning together tomorrow, they'd be wise to bring up some of the ridiculous last minute comments from Ron's opponents. Ron's psychotic opponents are really showing their true colors. Santorum's comment that he'll preemptively bomb Iran's nuclear sites is a reckless and dangerous act which would likely inflame the whole area into a wider war. No such comment should proceed from the mouth of ANY POTUS... Santorum has PROVEN by his remarks that he is unfit to be POTUS.

Paul is great underfire and the media is afraid

Wow media is really afraid of Paul victory...really illustrates how far astray our country has gone and how desperate media is to maintain a clearly non-functioning status quo. Paul is right on - people are waking up.

Imagine we all go to work like these journalists tomorrow and instead of doing our job, we complain all day or attack our fellow workers on petty issues instead - real productive.

Paul's performance on all interviews is great. A victory in Iowa, hopefully will allow him to refocus back to on his solutions and to issues that our country faces.

These journalists will never get into the journalism "hall of fame" with crummy interviews but I guess their wallets get fat.

“Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it’s realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy.”
― Ron Paul

I absolutely loved it when he said the people that are calling him unelectable are the ones that are down in the polls...........love it

Think Ron did very well. I

Think Ron did very well. I think he has trouble with sinus issues or recurrant colds. Bless his heart, I hope he gets over this pretty quickly.

What are "briefing books"?

2nd video at the 3:52 mark:

What are "briefing books"? Who writes them? Who reads them? What is their purpose? Is it mandatory to read them? Are they shared by all media companies?

I'd like to know more about these "briefing books".

I'm going to make a new thread about this.

I'm a serial entrepreneur and liberty activist from Texas!

Briefing Books

Briefing Books are used all the time by all types of groups and organizations.

In short they are a collection of potential topics to be discussed during a meeting, interview, debate, etc... The point being that all parties can be at least generally familiar with what will be discussed prior to the meeting to avoid lots of "I don't know, I'll have to get back to you on that."

Specific to the comment in the video...

Most likely the "Briefing Book" was written by the shows producers, given to the shows host and the RP campaign. It most likely contained a large number of potential topics for the host to chose from... Just enough that everyone is prepared, but not so much that the questions or answers can be scripted ahead of time. Overall something that benefits everyone involved in the process or watching the end product.

The only good thing about the NDAA...

is that these commentators will eventually be rounded up and given their just desserts...just from the wrong people.
