It doesn't matter how

It doesn't matter how Ron handles this.

Don't you get it? THE MEDIA DOESN'T CARE

They are giving Dr. Paul 1.5 to 2x more coverage than any other candidate over the last couple of days, and most of that coverage has been NEGATIVE. They were going to do this NO MATTER WHAT RON SAID about the newsletters, or anything else!

I'm voting you down because I'm tired of this. Your expectations about the media are just totally off. They don't care what he says. He's already handled this question. If only they would re-air his response as many times as they thrown out the accusations... but they don't and never will.

What makes you even think they will play fair like that? They have never played fair in the past. Instead, they just imply he hasn't disavowed them or some other shit, even though he has.

Seriously, drop it already. The interests who own the media - the banks, the CFR, etc. are not going to play by your rules. It won't happen. I don't know what gave you the impression that they were just going to let Ron win and tell the media to eventually play nice... they won't on both accounts if they have anything to say about it (and they still have even more things they can do to stop him... we've seen nothing yet).

Ron should come right out and say...

"If I were matched up head-to-head with Obama, I would defeat him in the largest landslide in the history of American presidential elections." That wouldn't be hyperbole. A bold prediction, yes, but also the truth.

Amazing

These were some of the worst conducted interviews in awhile... the media interviewer really lied to Dr. Paul's face over and over... and yet, Dr. Paul handed it extremely well. Very diplomatic. Very presidential.

I still can't believe they are asking questions about these newsletters though. I just think throwing the accusations at him over and over again in front of television viewer is all they really want to do, because the accusation is enough to do damage in the media's eyes. They don't really care how he responds. They don't really care if he gives a solid answer or not - they'll just keep asking it anyway. It's been going on for 2 weeks now? Give it up.

If only the media did this line of questioning, over and over, to any of the other candidates.

Did you see??

Did you see Tappers face after Ron body slammed him to the mat for the 911 conspiracy stuff? It looked like he had just sucked on a lemon or drank half a bottle of bitters. He then let sheepish "ok" eek from his mouth and IMMEDIATELY changed the subject by asking the next question without even taking a breath.

"Thwack!!!" (the sound of Ron's hand smacking upside the head of Jake as he B-slapped him all the way from Texas, knocking Tapper into the middle of next week). Shut him down so fast the anti-lock brakes on his neck didn't even have time to engage to prevent his head from spinning. His head popped sideways and back so fast that it was beyond the frame rate of the recording device. That's why no one actually saw it but I can assure you, it happened.

Paul.

Oh no

That Ron Paul was really a meanie to that nice reporter man. He yelled at him and everything! How dare he act like that.
(paraphrasing HuffPo) :c)

Nice. I look forward to more posts and

published commentary from you.

Great writing!

Laughed out loud at the anti-lock brakes on his neck failing to prevent his head from spinning. And agreed, Ron was awesome.

Hah! I agree, that's some

Hah! I agree, that's some wonderfully colorful creative writing.

What a Courageous Man

Dr. Paul fielded those questions time and again about his past, holding onto the facts of his efforts over long term for individual liberty and defense of minorities. What a man of courage to respond with candor and patience as the questions are repeated in interview after interview, and return to principles of the campaign for liberty.

Good job

My only suggestion is that Ron Paul can hit the ball out of the park on these conspiracy questions. Instead, he gets angry and does not want to answer them. If he would take a deep breath and inform the viewers of the smear campaign against him and there is no video or audio that has him saying 9/11 is a conspiracy and no other candidate must answer these questions, etc.
When you get a loaded question like that, take the opportunity to knock it out of the park.
Remember the 1988 debate with Dukakis and the question about his wife being murdered. It was a missed opportunity to knock it out of the park with emotion. Instead, he answered the question like a lawyer.
The questions wont go away until you put an end to the nonsense. Rand Paul ran the perfect campaign about the washington machine. Rand was also asked questions about Iran and they tried to paint him with the craziness. I wish Ron would take a page from the Rand playbook. Sometimes when you are too nice, people think you are not being as forceful as you should be when someone is attacking you with craziness.

He did great in all three. I

He did great in all three. I love his response to the 1964 Civil Rights Act and he really put the newsletter issue to rest - in my mind - with the ABC interview.

I was happy to see some fire from him

in that ABC interview. Instantly, the talking empty head jumped off that ploy. He probably called his mommy and cried to her saying that Ron Paul was mean to him. I think he wet his pants, too.

Yup.

That instant release of pee also reduced the hydraulic pressure available for the anti-lock brakes on his neck which normally would have prevented his head from spinning. As a result, his head spun so fast that the 120hz frame rate of the recording device failed to capture it on video.

Paul.

Phew, now that Ron P wrestled with ALL three silly interviewers

with Presidential responses, I can really start enjoying this New Years Day.

The contrast between Ron and the status quo flipfloping candidates, including Obm, is becoming clearer everyday. NDAA gives an especially fresh, easy-to-understand rallying point to the voters: shall we say it just might be another blessing in disguise?

Jake Tapper originally worked for

I hear he smoked the cigars

He's been practicing... great job...!

Seriously, how on earth the news can keep repeating Dondero as if he were credible and call themselves journalists is beyond me. The man has no credibility, will say absolutely anything and everything to get attention.

10-15 million more voters need to believe in non-interventionism (liberty) at home and abroad to change America. Minds changed on Syria. Minds changing on privacy. "Printing money" is part of the dialogue. Win minds through focus, strategy.

They Didn't Like What Rand had To Say, So They Shortened The

Interview...Thats ok!

The media has lost the people. The people no longer look to the msm to offer them what they are looking for.

Criticism of Ron Paul is not the way to influence people in a positive way.

When Rand mentioned Santorums weaknesses, that pretty much ended the interview.

The questions were lame, and

The questions were lame, and Ron took control of all of them. I thought he did great other than did not convey by his eyes and face, an "upbeat" message of prosperity and freedom. He knocked each question out of the park, and the WORST interviewer was that Tapper guy that everyone thought would be the best. Chris said Bachman would be on about the bribing issue after Ron called her a liar. Does anyone know what she said? Ron said she better have some evidence.
PS--I LOVED the way Ron cut off Tapper because he did not want him to say that BULL again on air. I thought Ron was fantastic!!!!

Indeed.

The important thing for Ron to consistently do is always take control of the conversation. Especially with the hit-piece type. And that's just what he did here.

Tip top!

Robert Steele to Ron Paul on Losing Iowa

I did this YouTube before watching the three videos put up this morning at the DailyPaul. I believe my comments are still valid, but now I can see the Ron Paul campaign has a clear plan to surge in the caucuses with intelligent earnest people speaking common sense--let's see how Tuesday comes out. Having said that, believe the staff can still do better. Now is the time to create a staff reserve and ramp up the applied intelligence and the strategic thinking.

I agree with you that the

I agree with you that the campaign has been and still is very weak on strategy. I attribute Ron's recent rise in popularity to the absolutely miserable state of the economy and weaknesses in the look-alike, sound-alike competition Ron is facing among GOP candidates.

The campaign needs more seasoned staff and pros who can help them win, possibly to the point where someone like Karl Rove who could remind them of the fundamentals would make sense. A good hired gun could make all the difference.

Is there any actual news on TV anymore?

Everything has devolved into gotcha journalism. It's like a scene out of Idiocracy.

I don't have a TV, so I wouldn't know.

Watching these interviews, I felt like I did when I first started school. I was always confused because I sensed that the people who ran the school were trying to keep me from learning: they would teach the same things over and over, asking me the simplest, most boring questions imaginable, and make a big deal out of boring stuff, to the point where I wanted to rip my hair out.

People are being "schooled" by the media the same way. How does ANYONE put up with this cr*p?

I love watching Ron Paul but it wasn't worth it to me, to have to spend time with these odious talking heads...I only watched the first interview all the way through. Ron Paul dodged the bullet on the "homophobe" set-up like the genius he is. He gave them NOTHING to distort.
