Ron Paul 2008!

Welcome also to a movement so varied, it boggles the mind.

I remember being really struck by my solidarity with my brother over Ron Paul. We have been virtual opposites personality-wise for our entire lives, he the fundamentalist physicist, and me the agnostic counter-culture artist. Yet when I brought up Dr. Paul when he came to visit last spring, he was right with me immediately, and we were both surprised to have found the same candidate through entirely different internet circles before the media ever mentioned his candidacy. Every salient point in Dr. Paul's platform is perfectly acceptable to both of us (although often for different reasons), and his integrity and honesty are exactly what we want in a president. That's what I call a uniting message.
