My Parents going to Iowa Caucus - need dirt about Mitt
I live in Chicago but my parents are going to speak at the Caucus tomorrow about RP. Which by the way, is their first Caucus ever!
We have been talking to people who we know are going tomorrow and they are leaning towards Mitt because they want their vote to count! Lame I know... But my parents are going talk about how they are there to vote for the best candidate and their decision is not based on polls. My dad loves that RP gets his money from real people. How much has Mitt spent in Iowa and how much has received and where? Is there a site that has the numbers broken down?
We think Mitt is super plastic, but what we could they say to minimize him or plant a seed that he might not be the best candidate in a few sound bites. How long was he governer again? I need dirt here to overcome that they think he's the most viable. Help!
Also they hate Hillary around here and where is that poll that says RP would be the best candidate to beat Hillary?
So, my whole Iowa family is going to their first caucus which is good, but I think there's a lot of people that could be swayed tomorrow.... If the RP supporters are good sales people, you never know what might happen tomorrow!! Think positive things because I do think 3rd is possible here. Ron Paul does speak to these people and they like him.

I am a Mormon (whole freak'n 100 person family) and only one Mormon I know is supporting Mitt. (Don't worry, we'll get him over to RP!)

Romney supported the McCain/Kennedy amnesty bill(was rightly dubbed shamnesty by many because it was such a weak bill that would not have solved the problem). He put in place the 287(g) program(a program meant to help police get criminal aliens off the streets) shortly before he left office, probably knowing his democrat successor would revoke it asap. He's also affiliated with the CFR. Watch freedom to facism and ENDGAME and then you can see why being affiliated with the CFR is a bad thing.

Talk money & freedom for our children
If I were you I would tell people why they should vote FOR Ron Paul, not against someone else. My opinion is that the most powerful and universal motivation is our children. Point out the debt is $ 9 trillion, and unfunded commitments 50 or 60 trillion. That is $175,000 for every man, woman, and child. This is an impossible debt that the older folks are incurring but not going to pay. They will pass on and leave the burden disproportionally to young people. This is stealing from their children and grandchildren. On top of this, they are giving up our hard fought individual liberty, setting it back to pre Magna Carta times, for goodness sake. I think young people should ask, or get on their knees and beg if necessary, the older folks in their own family as well as at the caucus to not do this to them. Make them ashamed, AS THEY VERY WELL SHOULD BE. They should explain that is WHY they are for Ron Paul, to get rescued from the mess being left by the current generation.
Then when you get all the lame reasons why these sacrifices are necessary, you already know how to respond with actual facts.
Care for our children is the most powerful motivator. The powerful elite use fear to steal our money and liberty. They magnify imaginary or perhaps real problems into monstrous problems so the powerful can control us via giant government solutions. Fear of terrorism. Fear of poverty. Fear of people dying in the streets due to insufficient medical care. Fear of homosexuals recruiting our children. Fear of drugs. Fear of crime. Fear of global warming, can you believe it!
For me, fear of losing our liberty, going broke, and sticking children with the situation trumps them all. And those fears are based on historical precedence.

I have never seen the words 'chicken hawk' used in reference to someone who is a war monger. Where I come from, a chicken hawk is a man who preys on little underaged male children, in other words, an adult sexual predator of younger victims. Mitt is slickster - tell them to remind people that what Mitt says and what Mitt does are two different things. He has flip flopped on so many issues he cannot be believed. But the biggest is that it won't matter if Mitt or any of the other Republicans win (except Paul) because they are going to get crushed in the General election by any Democrat because they are Pro War and nearly 70% of Americans are against the war. Mitt will lose just like the Republicans lost the Senate and the House - so it will be all Democrat.
