My stepbrother bought me Glenn Beck's George Washington book as a Christmas gift.
Does anyone know if it's accurate/worth reading?
I don't want to be rude, but I also don't want to waste my time on Glenn.

As much as I dislike GB, I personally would NEVER burn or throw away a book. To read or not to read. That is the question. Didn't someone read Shakespear(? spelling) and trash it. Yes. Did others read it and proclaim him to be magnificent.
The choice is yours and maybe one day someone reads it and comes up with a true reason for peace. Who knows what the future holds. I would thank my relative for the gift. Let them know it was truly thoughtful. I would ask if I could give them a thought provoking book just as they did. Give them Liberty Defined.

If it were me who received it I would have the same problem you have.
A few years ago my dad gave me 2 big books by William Bennet who was a big-wig at the Dept of Education.
Plus he's a NEO-CON big time.
So they just sit on my bookshelf because I don't want to read that guy but then again they were from my dad so they have sentimental value to me.
It's a real dillema and I feel your pain!
What's too bad is that Beck talks all about the Constitution and free markets and then he goes and bashes Ron Paul.
That's because he's a big Neo-Con Muslim-hater at heart.

well, books are meant to be read
there is nothing wrong with reading a book. if i were you i would highlight the passages where beck makes sense and use those as a conversation starter with your stepbrother. then you can transition into talking about RP or you can reciprocate by sending him a RP book.
Read it!
Then give your brother an honest analysis of it, and then hand him Liberty Defined!
Also, you could write a review here on the Daily Paul! If it's from your brother, you got no choice man, read it! You know he's going to ask you "Hey bro, what'd you think of the Glenn Beck book?" If you don't read it, whatever the excuse, it will be an awkward "Uh uh uh, well... um..." Just read it!

If so, read through it (don't have to read every last word), have a discussion on relevant topics and tie it in to what Paul says and give them a book by Paul or something else regarding the movement.

If it were me...
and I received this book, I'd list it on ebay and then donate the money to Dr. Paul. Hey, there's a fundraising idea. Any books, sweaters, etc. you got for Christmas, instead of standing in a return line somewhere, ebay or craigslist it...however you can sell it..and then donate the income received to RP.

I was at my girlfriend's house for xmas and her father got Bill O'Reilly's new book! I told him I read some really bad reviews about it. He's a neocon... It is fun to argue with him. Haven't converted him yet but he lives in Michigan so I have time.
