Gravel has exactly the right positions to be Ron Paul's running mate. I hate to say it but Hillary scares me more than Romney or Huckabee. Not because I think she will win, she's lost the anti-war vote altogether and is therefore almost unelectable. But we want democrats and republicans here so a Republican/Democrat ticket might make sense and help the solidify the notion that Paul can beat Hillary. We wouldn't hear of it till after the Primaries though, no sense alienating your party before they've even picked you. That one bush adviser was right about one thing when he said every group needs an enemy image to function. Hillary is the next obvious enemy after this whole primary formality is over with. The Media will continue to stir our revolution. We already know only 2 things can happen. Either the corporate types steal the election or Nominee Paul is a virtual certainty. If Hillary was bleeding democrats, the left leaning independents would come our way in droves. I also like Kusinich for his Foreign Policy.

Running mate

Ninja, let me go out on a limb here and predict that you are a Dem convert. I applaud your choice of Dr. Paul and would like to toss another choice for running mate at you. I believe that Dr. Paul is the only candidate that can beat Hillary in the general and Gravel nor Kucinich have caught on with the Dems and while I respect them both I think they would be regarded as "nuts" as well.

Judge Andrew Napolitano (sp?) would be another choice. I have several of his books and he has recently endorsed Dr. Paul, I believe. Dr. Paul could certainly do worse!

I have been so impressed with our candidate the last few days, the way he handled Tim Russert, his sharp moments on MSNBC and CNN, his reactions and insight into the Fox situation, pointing out how they have put themselves into a box. To see Dr. and Mrs. Paul chatting with George S., and in a friendly way telling him he is "on the list", it really shows the forgiving, friendly, character of this wonderful man and his very good wife. He is Presidential. He will have his feet on the ground. He will steward our country by its Constitution. He will have the value of each soldiers life and the welfare of their families firmly in mind. He will not succumb to the temptation to be a celebrity President. This is the humble, wise man we need to get us through the rebuilding process we must face together.
