(WZZM) West Michigan Minister, Rev. David Paul, Supports Brother Ron Paul for President.. Isn't Accustomed To Seeing Bro On TV

Georgetown Township, MI (WZZM) - West Michigan minister, Rev. David Paul, says he still isn't accustomed to seeing his brother, Texas Congressman Ron Paul, on TV or his picture in the paper.

"It's pretty exciting to pick up a newspaper and see your bother on the front page," he says, pointing to a photo in "USA Today".

Rev. Paul is Republican Presidential Candidate Ron Paul's older brother.

"I'm proud of him," says Rev. Paul. "Of what he's done, his beliefs and the fact he can be trusted."

I grew up watching that news

I grew up watching that news channel and my parents still do... very exciting that he is getting attention over there.

He described Ron Paul as

"Pretty level-headed, tenacious, determined...He always was...And he doesn't change. Even if he thought changing an opinion might get him ahead, he wouldn't do that."

Long Interview with David Paul

Here is a long interview with Ron Paul's brother David from the 2008 campaign. I couldn't find Part 3, maybe someone else out there can locate it. This interview is very interesting to see a different side of Ron Paul from his brother, with such insights as "I know Ron never had a gun… might have had a BB Gun":

Thanks! I looked and looked for that and couldn't find it.

David Paul complains:

David Paul complains: Everyone who has had a brother who became president, have been able to influence a decision or two. For example, I have some ideas about a federal policy for churches. But not me! No, my brother is too darn stubborn! Isn't that typical!? :-D

I at first thought Brother Ron Paul.Like in brothers and sisters in Christ.

Anybody know what the other

Anybody know what the other two brothers do? I know Wayne in is a CPA...

Two became ministers, one was

Two became ministers, one was head of the mathematics department at Appalachian State University, and Wayne I guess is a CPA.

4 brothers and they are all preachers.. Ron almost did that too

at least I believe they were at one time.

Nice video here...

I like it that Ron's own brother says

he doesn't really want to be President. I think it's his greatest qualification. It brings into sharp relief two things: 1) He is not ambitious for personal power. 2) It demonstrates the power of his support, which has impelled him to be the spokesmen (most able) for the liberty movement.

It reminds me of how Socrates claimed that those most fit to lead (the "philosopher-king) would not be the ones ambitiously seeking the offices. Those power-hungry ones are categorically excluded as unfit because of their conflict of interest (in power). It's true Ron Paul doesn't care anything about the extravagance or the image. Fortunately for us, he does care (to the exclusion of almost everything else) about restoring this once-great nation.

Well said!

I often have thought the same thing, that he really doesn't want to deal with being president, yet runs for us, for the movement, for his beliefs.

What a great interview!

Sounds much like his brother Ron Paul - humble & honest. :)

Jesus is the saviour of the WHOLE WORLD, "As in Adam all die, so too in Christ ALL shall be made alive." (ICor.15:22) All means all. The pagan 'hell' of literal fire & eternal torment is a lie and is SPIRITUAL TERRORISM. http://www.hopebeyondhell.net
