Huh? Ron Paul does not envision himself in the White House?

I came across an Associated Press article that begins with the headline, "Paul: Odds of Winning Presidency Slim But Possible". What bothers me most about this newspiece is this paragraph:

"DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Republican Ron Paul, a leading contender in Iowa's presidential caucuses, said Monday on the eve of the leadoff 2012 vote that he does not envision himself in the White House".

Okay, so I did not see and hear the ABC New interview upon which the article is based, but I cannot imagine RP saying that he does not envision winning the 2012 presidential seat. Even though our Good Doctor remains humble and realistic, I cannot imagine that he would make a statement that rings of self-defeat. Here is the link to the full article.

The AP

must mean the ABC liquor store.Maby they still have a bad hangover from the other night. They should try a nice big glass of OJ and a couple BC powder.

I love liberty like fresh cool air in my lungs.I love freedom like fresh cool water on my tongue.I love peace like the smooth skin of my sweet lady. And Dr.Ron Paul is the hero I believe will change the world.

I don't believe anything I read from the MSM...

If I heard Ron Paul on video or audio say something then I would be just as concerned as you. Maybe I would pay attention to this if he said something like this...

I don't envision myself in the White House...I am already there and my supporters believe the way I do. That is why I always say President Ron Paul as though he is already NOW my President.

fearless brave joyful peaceful loving grateful, compassionate

Considering the government we've grown accustomed to...

...it really is kind of hard to imagine.

Which ABC interview are they

Which ABC interview are they referring to?

Apprently, an interview with Terry Moran?

I searched high and low for a video clip of this supposed interview that Ron Paul did with Terry Moran of ABC News on 1/02/12 during which it is said that Ron Paul did not envision himself being in the Oval Office. I could not find a single moment of video evidence, only text. Until I hear Ron Paul himself say something to this extent, I refuse to believe it. The new media has gone so far as to be blatantly dishonest amd entirely misleading when it comes to Ron Paul. So yes, RP is being "quoted" as to having made such admissions. Yet, I did not HEAR him say anything to that effect. Personally, I have strong faith in Ron Paul securing victory, but I hate when the media makes assertions when I see or hear no such proof.
