National Ron Paul Gathering Chicago Aug 29 -40 year anniv.
This is just an idea - why not have a National Ron Paul Gathering on August 29, 2008 no matter what. It will be the 40th anniversary of the demonstrations and "The Whole World is Watching". It will do the following:
1. Demonstrate our peaceful intent this time.
2. Emphasize our demand for revolution in government.
3. Highlight that 40 years later, not only has nothing changed, it's worse.
4. Unite the Republican and Democratic support for our man.
5. Allow the world to witness 100,000 united RP supporters.
We could have RP speak, bands play, others speak. Win or lose the GOP nomination, we cannot let this movement turn into a fad. We'll have our problems whether we win or lose, and we need to stop the drift towards a soft fascism.
Does anyone like this idea, to have ONE NATIONAL MEETING. We can start a theme song, with Graham Nash's song Chicago. It could galvanize us even more. If you agree, please help me plant the seed starting now, January 3rd.

Huck's being advised by Dick Morris,
the slimy Clinton operative, who admitted that Bill Clinton "only wants me around when his dark political side is coming out...He doesn't want anything to do with me when he's in good-government, Boy Scout mode."
Morris is also the man who designed the "triangulation" strategy for Clinton. After the Republican Contract with America swept the 1994 Congressional elections, Morris insisted that Clinton needed to "neutralize the Republicans" by adopting some of their cherished "values" like "a balanced budget, welfare reform...school uniforms." In essence, by stealing the opposition's ideas.
Then he needed to "triangulate" the Democrats by "inhabiting the political center" between the bickering leftist and centrist wings of the Democratic Party, placing these two groups at the bottom two points of an imaginary triangle, while rising 'above and between' them to show what a moderate and outstanding leader he himself was, a peacemaker, a heaven-sent compromise, a happy medium. (Of course, this meant stealing their rhetoric as well, when it served him.)
In essence, it meant becoming openly a politician who would say whatever was popular to gain and to keep power, even if it meant angering one's own party or supporters with one's lack of commitment to the party line.

Revolution?
Bless his heart, this is just sad. Huckabee has so little support and his ideas are not remotely revolutionary. Unless, of course, you count his revolution against smokers in this state (AR). I haven't been to Waffle House in ages and it's all his fault!! :) Besides, he's not presidential material.

That is a great picture. I knew there was a reason ( well, a lot more than one) that I couldn't stand Yuckabee. Pres. Logan just made my skin crawl on that season of 24 & Muckabee does the same thing. I make my husband change the channel when he comes on.

Why does this surprise anyone?
It should come as absolutely no surprise that Huckleberry did this. Neocon loves to steal: other nation's oil, their nation's future prosperity, and their own citizens' freedom, so it's only natural to go after campaign rhetoric as well. It only proves what a pandering, morally rudderless SOB he really is.
