Ron Paul Makes Me Want to be a Better Man

I am a thirty seven year old man who has done things in my life that I am not proud of. I'm not making excuses, but the way things have been in this country with the corruption, cynicism and outright deception I have kind of felt like it was useless to aspire to be a good man. I was pretty complacent with my apathy until I saw Ron Paul speak at the first debate. I thought to myself, "Is this guy for real, or just another blowhard political shill." I had never witnessed someone speak truth to power like he did. I researched him and came to the conclusion that this guy is for real. It made me ashamed of what I had allowed myself to become. I think for the first time in my life I actually saw a real role model. After much reflection I came to the conclusion that this is what I would like to be. A man of integrity, passion, honour and devotion to the truth. It's never too late to change, especially with someone like Dr. Paul to lead by example. So no matter how all this turns out, thank you Dr. Paul. Thank you for inspiring this middle aged cynic into wanting to be something more. Yes, Ron Paul makes me want to be a better man.

We are all in this together... even the people who don't like Ron Paul. We need to do our part to restore our communities even if the federal government keeps doing their best to break them down.

I am making an effort to be more friendly and pleasant in public and my wife and I have even begun volunteering. It feels great and it is all thanks to Dr. Paul.

Win or lose we are the ones who need to build this country back up. Lets roll! (haha)

I am 33 and Ron Paul has also inspired me to be a better man. I have been a professional student to obtain letters after my name but never intellectually curious.
Ron Paul's dedication to knowledge and truth inspires me to study and learn more about the world around me. The truth is more fun than the fluff and entertainment that has surrounded me for most of my life.
