Second Gear
The race is on and we were only in first gear. First gear gets you out of the hole and off the starting line, now it's time to hit second gear.
We have the best driver in the race...Ron Paul...the best pit crew in the race...you, me, and the lovers of Freedom, Liberty, and Truth.
We are tuned up, have traction, and have the top end to pull to the finish line first. It is all about consistency in a race...don't smoke the tires at the starting line, don't miss any shifts, and have the right gears to pull top end.
This is going to be a long race to the Presidency. But, we have the best driver in the field...Ron Paul. And like I said, the best pit crew around.

Ron Paul encapsulates the essence of our republic. He is so far and away beyond the understanding of the other candidates that he makes our average sovereign look dumb founded. I love this man and I will support him and his ideals until death does us part.
It was very gracious of Romney to say that Ron Paul had a great
night.
Although Romney is out of touch with the issues and the people, he is a gentleman. Newt, Santorum, Perry, and Bachmann are a different story.

Romney is just biding his time. He knows that the end race will probably be between him and Ron and he just wants to make sure that he clears the rest of the field before that. We always knew it was going to come to that in the end and this race is far from over. These were just the first punches and so far we have a new top tier, Romney, Santorum and surprisingly strong Gingrich. Ok that was a little joke :) Anyway, Bachmann is definitely out after this, Perry too, Gingrich is going to stick around till New Hampshire, but Ron Paul is in it for the long haul. Santorum is going to fizz out like other flavors of the week as soon as Ron and others start exposing his non-conservative positions and insane homophobia, racism and warmongering. He got off scot-free up to this point, now it's time to tear him a new asshole.

Media
Ron was hurt by the media and he and his campaign has got to stand up against the media. I thought it was great when he walk off i agreed and respected his action. Media doesn't say anything positive if he cant do a better job standing up to them then he shouldnt even particapate in the interview. They set him up good in them three interview the other day. TIME TO GET TOUGH WITH THE MEDIA. need to out wit them and beat them.

As long as the results are fair and honest, I think we did a great job and this is a great start. I want to thank everyone who contributed their time and efforts and remind everyone that whether he came in first or third, what we are doing is not about one man, it is a movement which will only grow from this point on. They had unleashed the dogs during the last couple weeks but that leves us with a cleaner slate now. They can only ignore the message for so long. The economy is not getting any better and as people start feeling the squeeze and see that the war in IRAN is only making things worse, people will always remember the message of Ron Paul. They will not be able to ignore the movement as it grows, but let's remember what we stand for. Let's not get caught up in the petty stuff and focus on becoming a model for what we want America to become. People will eventually and naturally be drawn to us since FREEDOM is our God-given right. After seeing how our movement rewarded Kelly Clarkson by getting her sales up by over 200% and getting her to the number one spot on Amazon for being truthful and courageous with her endorsement of Ron Paul, I realized the power this movement has. Soon other celebrities will follow, that were afraid to speak up, thinking that it will hurt their careers. Remember, every person out there no matter who they chose tonight, is a Ron Paul supporter, no matter how ignorant and resistant they are right now, they just can't see it yet. Remember , every one of us was like that at some point , where no better, just had the privilege to awaken sooner. Lets continue to have fun, finding new innovative ways to Help Dr Paul and help others see what America could be... Every minute you contribute and every dollar you donate, is an investment in something far greater than gold or money can buy. Our Children and Grand Children will be reading about us in their textbooks. We are just getting started, Get some Rest and come back stronger and more enthusiastic than ever before.

I went and voted at the Iowa caucus tonight for Ron and gave a speech on his behalf in Davis County Ia, I predicted that Santorm would do will in Iowa but thought Rommney done better then i expected. Santorm received a endorsement from Bob Vanderplates. he is with the family leadership counsel, a couple weeks ago. Rumer has it that Santorm paid a million dollars for the endoersment. I don't know if that's true or not but i would like to find out. I was really hoping that Ron would win in Iowa, Glad to see he is very up beat. We worked hard for him in Davis Co, But the christen conservative right(CCR) is extremly powerful here. Im a strong christen but i dont agree with the ccr. I look at them as just another lobbyist group undermining personal liberties shoving there agenda through politics. Santorm i predict is done for after Iowa just like Huck was, Republicans vote for those types here but not anywhere else.

Just wanted to say thank you for speaking in front of so many people about Ron Paul! I think thats great and the two things that most people are afraid of most are death and public speaking. I am going to do all I can here in Texas during the primaries to get him elected here April 3rd. Thank you also for your insight. I tend to believe you because Huckabee was a very religious guy too.

Someone may have already said it here but Ronald Reagan came in fourth in Iowa. He won. Iowa within 4% of first place is a great night. Grats to all. This week my household will be back on the phones as usual and adding some personal contact at the local campus to stir up volunteers as well. Our duties and game plan remain the same as they were yesterday other than the addition. Many thanks to all the volunteers who have thus far gotten an 'unelectable' man within 4% of first. We've already doubled RPs support through our efforts. Surely 4% is a 'can do' situation. Let's all refocus on what we 'can do'. Good job everyone!

The soldier speaking out in support of Paul before and after the results was priceless! The media and the other GOP NeoCons wouldn't DARE speak out against active military stumping for Paul, doing ads for Paul in uniform, etc. (The most they could do is cut the feed as they begin to speak about why they want to come home.)
Jon Stewart even pointed out that with all the "racist newsletter" hype, the focus of the GOP was to try to demonize his stance on Iran!

Thanks for this speech. I could not log on to DP--tried about 5 times, so I seemed all alone when I found out he was third, and it was very disappointing. To see this speech, with Ron SO positive, just helped me snap out of it..and it certainly is a darned close third. We just need to work as hard as we have and we already know the tipping point is reached. We just have to keep it tipping.
