Another Jewish man about to convert to Ron Paul

0 votes

This is one reason anyone must flag the crazies and anti "zionist" statements. They are untrue and hurt Ron Paul. Here is a letter a number of us are answering from Yehudah who is considering Ron Paul.

I have been very concerned, especially last night when I responded several times to an anti-zionist reply on a post. STOP USING THE WORD ZIONISM AND REPLACE WITH CFR OR ONE WORLDERS.

Zionism means someone loves Israel and believes the Jewish state has a right to exist. That is most of us. Those who don't are the "Fringe" that the press has had a field day with and has cost DR. Paul votes. Remove Zionist from your vocabulary. What we are dealing with is one worlders doing things in the name of zionism but they do not represent zionist any more than president Bush represents true Republicanism and the party of Reagan.

"I am a frum yid, strongly pro-Israel, and very conservative. I
haven't read many of the posts here yet (which would probably answer some of my questions). I'm posting this because I haven't made up my mind about RP at this point: one the one hand, I find many of his domestic positions very attractive. If my decision were based only on such issues, I would support him. On the other hand I am seriously concerned by the fact that (a) he is so much loved by people who do not like Jews and who hate Israel. I am not saying that supporting Paul lands one in either category. I am saying that a large number of people who are in those categories support Paul. That has to make mepause and wonder what they are seeing. The other concerns are (b) his avowed non-interventionism , and (c) a concern in the back of my mind that his isolationism in the middle east may be partially a pretext for being anti-Israel. I am inviting Jews who believe they can address those concerns to do so.

Yehudah"

Another China man about to convert to Ron Paul!

The title and subject of this post is so absurd that I refrained from commenting, but here is this post resurfacing it's head again.

Think about it: How many other races/ethnicity group/etc. would dare to speak in such bold (and absurd) terms.

Another Black man about to convert to Ron Paul....

Why do Jews think that they are so great and meaningful to everything?

A Constitutional Republic and Talking About Zionism

Nothing in the US Constitution requires that Americans pay for the State of Israel or support its right to exist.

The attempt to throttle or prevent discussion of Zionism and American policy in the ME either by accusations of anti-Semitism or by scare-mongering about the Islamo-fascist threat or similar techniques should offend all lovers of freedom.

We have never had a free open discussion about Zionism and the State of Israel in the USA. Until that discussion takes place, it is intellectually dishonest to claim that Americans support Israel.

I am willing to engage anyone in a discussion of Zionism or Jewish history, and I maintain a website for Ethnic Ashkenazim Against Zionist Israel if anyone is interested. Philip Weiss maintains a website Mondoweiss with the topic "Iraq comes home: the war of ideas, by Philip Weiss." He discusses topics related to the Israel Lobby and the American Jewish Community.

Because Ron Paul has made his foreign policy position crystal clear, anyone that wants to get into detailed discussion of Zionist, Jewish historical, or Jewish communal issues that are irrelevant to the RP08 campaign should probably visit my website, Philip Weiss's web site or any of the innumerable websites addressing similar topics.

We can all hope as libertarians, lovers of the American Constitution or supporters of Ron Paul, that open discussion of all important political questions will become the American norm after Ron Paul's election.

"How can we justify to the unemployed and underemployed in the United States the incredible cost of maintaining a global empire?" - Dr. Ron Paul

There are bigots who support every candidate!

I support Dr. Paul because he will be the best for the future of this country! I don't care about the bigots...I ignore them!" They are everywhere! Even in Israel!

Also, Dr. Paul is not an isolationist, he is for non-intervention unless supported by Congress and the American People. The majority of the American People support Israel!

And that non-intervention philosophy includes the entire world, not just the Middle East. We would get out of Korea and other countries as well. Beside, Israel proved during the 6 day war that they are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves.

Whenever I despair, I remember that the way of truth and love has always won. There may be tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they may seem invincible, but in the end, they always fail. Think of it: always"

CFR's or Zionism

First read this and note this group refused to take up the 501c3 mark which controls what they might say. More churches should follow this example and be free to say what they wish. The fact that the Treasury can control the speech of any relgious group because it allows its tax free status through the 501c3 entity is a joke, because at the same time the goverment says there must be separtion of church and state. Curch and State are in fact locked at the hip due to money and taxes.

The US Jewish population is reported to be between 2-3% . The number of Jewish US Senators is 13 out of 100 or 13% of which 2 out of 13 are Republican. There are 30 Jewish Congressmen out of 435 or almost 7% of which 1 out of 30 is a Republican.

Clearly Jewish interest are more than well represented and does not include people currently in the Executive Branch or other branches of government like Chertoff, Bolten, Mukasey, Bernanke and others before them like Rubin, Summers, Greenspan, Friedman, Wolfensohn, Fleischer, Wolfowitz, Albright, Berger, Weinberger.

Considerable sums of money are sent each year to support Israel and its security. Dr Paul's record is there for all to see and hear. Yet despite all the influence the Jewish population has on the US and government policy, it seems this country can not give enough as the old anti semite card is always being played and a man of character and honesty can never provide enough to attract the Jewish vote for a libertarian Republican.

If Paul's record does not represent your values, then vote for the candidate of your choice.

Agree

The Jewish vote is more than adequately represented here

And it is NOT antisemitic to criticize Israel
and not antisemitic to choose not to support Israel

and not antisemitic to choose to support the Palestinians

I am part Scottish and Italian

And 100 percent Paul.. Liberty is not based on race period. If you are HUMAN.. you intrinsicly by your very nature endowed with liberty. And if you have liberty and Paul will protect it.. then he is protecting everyone in the worlds liberty not only for us but from us to the world..

Race is part of you liberty.. because it is you and me. but Liberty is NOT race.. it is intrinsic to the human condition.

I agree. My roomate is

I agree. My roomate is Israeli and she donated 50 dollars after I told her about Paul. Please don't judge anyone on what they are but who they are. Wolfowitz Silverstein, yeah they are bad men but there are plenty of non jews that are just as bad. Every race has it's blacksheep and it's scapegoating to blame our problems on any group of people. I will never use the word Zionist and I agree whole heartedly with this post

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."- JFK

i don't see the u.s. as a very good mediator

it should be. but i don't feel it is. it should be getting these people together to talk about the future they wish for their children. look what happened when the people in northern ireland and south africa started to talk and think of future generations. the time is now to stop all the hatred and blood shed. time to put down the guns and talk. this is what ron paul's message is all about.

Free Americans Supporting Other Lands

American citizens have always supported their families in other lands. If that means sending money to Mexico, or to Ireland, or Macedonia, or Israel. But no American has the right to use the force of government to coerce other citizens to do so.

Anti-Jewish Sentiment

Since 9-11, anti-jewish sentiment has been growing exponentially. People are growing increasingly frustrated with the middle eastern conflicts and are starting to question where jews allegiances lie. They see senators Lieberman constantly pushing for war with Iran. They see Diane Feinstein and Chuck Schumer voting for Mukasey essentially shocking the democrats while condoning torture. They see the power AIPAC has over Congress and the presidential candidates. This is a serious concern all jews in America should have.

Ron Pauls foreign policy is very neutral. It does not favour one country over another. It will bring peace and prosperity to our country and would repair any anti-sentiment towards Americans from the Islamic world and anti-sentiment towards jews in America. Most Muslims are moderate. 98% of muslims are peace loving moderates. It is Ameirca's involvement in the middle east that generates more recruits for the likes of Al Queda.
Israel needs to be more responsive to its neighbors, and that will never happen as long as AIPAC and America is involved.

I'm 100% Jewish and voting

I'm 100% Jewish and voting for Ron Paul.

I spoke to my grandparents (Who are all Holocaust survivors) about Ron Paul.
Even they understand that America isn't looking out for the interests of Israel.

When I told them that for every $1 we give to Israel, we give $3 to the Arabs... that's it they were sold.

We all know how capable the Israelis are, and even if America stops giving aid to them, Israel will be able to take care of itself.

America has no business telling Israel what it can and cannot do.

As for the others who keep mentioning the word "Zionists", please stop.

I'm Jewish and I care about the state of Israel, but I'm not part of this One World government, or a member of the CFR. I'm quite the opposite. I'm against those insane ideas and organizations.

I saw a Jews for

Ron Paul website. I googled it to see and it was real nice maybe you could go there as well for information. I am not Jewish but the way I see the Constitution covers EVERYONE.

Who is the real Defender of Israel...America or Yahweh?

Either you believe what the prophet Jeremiah says in Chp. 17 or not.

Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust.....but cursed is the man who puts his trust in the arm of the flesh ( military might, man's protection).

The God of Abraham is still capable of defending and providing for the ENTIRE house of Israel, both Judah and Ephraim. Judah is not the ONLY tribe that Yah looks and cares after.

It is time for those who truly call themselves after the HOLY NAME of Yahweh to walk their talk and start depending on Him and Him alone for their protection instead of any nation. America is not Israel's provider or protector only Yahweh is.

I agree with your basic premise

However, there are blessings for the ones who bless Israel, see my post below for why our aid is not blessing Israel. As free citizens, we should be free to support Israel or not, not be forced to pay with our tax dollars for it. Nor should we be forced to support Israel's sworn enemies, either.

You are right, America's aid is not blessing Israel

it is actually hurting Israel and it also hurts other arab countries as well, not to mention it hurts America.

America needs to take care of our country first and use our tax dollars to support americans. People in america can choose to use their own money to support Israeli organizations but the american taxpayer should not have to or for that matter be forced to give money to arab or muslim groups either.

I am a Zionist in that sense as well,

Ron Paul has some wise words on foreign aid (especially for the Middle East) at www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul216.html and www.zionistsforronpaul.blogspot.com One quote here from the blog spot : "Yet while we call ourselves a strong ally of the Israeli people, we sent billions in foreign aid to some Muslim states that many Israelis regard as enemies. From the Israeli point of view, many of these same Islamic nations we fund with our tax dollars want to destroy the Jewish state. Many average Israelies and American Jews see America as hypocritically hedging its bets." He goes on to say UN and other outsider imposed plans bring no hope for lasting peace.

and from the

Arab and Muslim point of view, American taxpayers finance Israeli occupation against Palestinians.

One person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter, just as Ron Paul has pointed out.

We should not support one side or another in their regional conflicts, just as we should ONLY come to the aid of any country (Israel or Arab country) to protect the national security of America.

Remember, also, that not all Jews are Zionist (eg see www.jewsnotzionists.org), so this is not about being anti-Jewish or even anti-Israel.

It's about being pro-America, and putting America FIRST ... not any other country you come from or have a connection to.

This is one reason

why America needs Ron Paul. Anyone living on American soil should be concerned with the United States' welfare first and foremost. We have too many mixed allegiances here and that is part of the problem. When you move to a foreign land you adopt that place as your new home. And when you become a citizen, you take an oath aligning your allegiances with that country. You defend and protect that country, not the land where you came from. The reason being if America were to go to war for any reason with the country you came from, which side wuld you defend? This is no place to fence sit and frankly most Americans are tired of foreigners coming here and thrusting their demands of a homeland on them. THIS is your homeland and if it isn't you shouldn't be here. I was born and raised here and my allegiance is here and not even the country my parents came from. This is my nationality period. Maybe Zionists need to change their attitude towards Americans and realize that to us this is our homeland and that we also have a right to it. And if Zionists are so dedicated to Israel why are they not in Israel working to improve conditions in the country they love so much? I have heard Zionists say that they would die for Israel, but the question I have is, would they die for America?

What about those with dual citizenship?

And yes, I as a Zionist would die for either the Constitutional Republic that is America, OR Israel's right to exist. I would also die to return our country to a Constitutional Republic.

one of the issues, however

is what would someone who is pro-Israel do if America were at war with Israel?

so long as the loyalty is to America first (especially all else being relatively equal).

And I would say the same to my Arab & Muslim friends, and my friends from Bolivia, Germany or anywhere at all.

Ron Paul is not anti-war

He is anti-unconstitutional war. He wants the power of war to stay with the people, not the president.

He is also against official, certified, entangling alliances. But he is not against declaring war when that war is justified.

If Israel were really in need, and our national security truly threatened, AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WANT TO DO IT, then Ron Paul is completely accepting of a declared war, for example, if the middle east decided to gang up and try to destroy Israel. It is unlikely that will happen since Israel's defense is the second best in the world. The declared war would have a declared mission with a definite ending. But we will make no official legal promises to defend them or send them money. We will also get out of their way when they want to defend themselves.

Thank you, friend

for clarifying the issue.

I have suspected of my jewish ancestry for a long time

Yesterday I found yet another strong evidence from Wikipedia:

Here it goes:

Brandao (Brandão) is a Portuguese surname, from the three hebrew particles: Bar-An-Dan. Bar (that means : 'son'); Am or An (that means: 'tribe') and Dan ( that means: 'Dan') - Son of the Tribe of Dan: Bar-An-Dan - BarAnDan : Brandão.

So, there you go. An Essene jew here sick and tired of the Sadducees taking our money and our freedoms so they grow richer and more dominant! This has been going on for millennia! I think it's time to stop them!

Racists are welcome to support Ron Paul

Zionism is a philosophy of Jewish Supremacism. My husband is a scholar who has read thousands of books in the original Hebrew and Yiddish. Zionism is a pre-planned agenda to wipe out Palestine and replace it with an ethnic nation state. It is based on terrorizing people who are not Jewish into fleeing their homes and then erasing the property rights of Christians and Muslims and disenfranchising them.

That said, we have a lot of other racists in the Ron Paul Revolution. Not a problem. You have the freedom to believe you are more human than us. But we have the right to bear arms against you if you try any of that **** here. Keep your bulldozer away from my house and your machine gun out of my kids' face. And by the way, your Wall around Bethlehem looks a lot like the Communist Berlin Wall with all that barbed wire and watchtowers
