The establishment is desperate

The MSM propaganda machine sees that it becomes less relevant by the day and that people wake up to their lies. First they attacked him as being racist, now they attack his age, but have no clue why the young generation supports Ron Paul overwhelmingly.

If age was the best shot they have left, they are truly desperate. I doubt that this was an accident. I think that it was pre-conditioning for the next wave of attacks.

Ron was really on his game in this video

Brilliant answers to a number of the questions. I loved his answer to King trying to tie him to "white nationalists", etc. Effectively exposed the utter absurdity of King's question and took a swipe at Obama as a warmonger in the process.

One of the best interviews

One of the best interviews I've seen dr Paul give this cycle. He's really starting to hit back and expose these clowns. Looks like he's been watching some of Rand's interviews.

I have to return some videotapes...

That WAS a good interview!

This is a movement, NOT a horse race!

Does anyone know if John King

Does anyone know if John King retracted the incorrect statement about his age?

If he didn't, he needs to.

Fed-Up

Bump

Excellent answers to a loaded interview. Gonna be good tonight!

Bringing up the fringe supporters is a topic I had to defend this week at work. I said it is a 1st Ammendment Right to donate and support any candidate you want. It does not mean Dr. Paul is a 5x Grand Poohbah in the kkk if a photo of him and don black shows up on the google. I love it when red-staters throw the race card!

Hey King...

Ya Got Nothin'. CNN punk, puke assertations. Huntsman? Romney? Really? WINNING!! RP2012 The ONLY One

9/11 was an inside job .....time to get some answers..RP 2012

Go Ron, hitting back at King.

Go Ron, hitting back at King. Calling him out on the video. Well done!

They call him flipper

Lets have some fun and make a laughing stock of Mitt Romney with a new campaign ad using the theme song music of this 1960s TV series: "Flipper"

Home Run and outta the park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this man!!! I really and truly do!

saying RP is 79

was no slip of the tongue, it was a deliberate put down and discrimination.

They obviously have no concern about credibility.

They know, that we know they're full of it, but what they're counting on is all the people who don't ever bother to fact check and just except what the TV tells them.

I hope that in their arrogance they make a misstate that gets so much attention that their credibility is destroyed in the eyes of the people. If this does happen someone low on the poll will take the blame and the game rolls on...

Man

i just watched that...what a bunch of BS. Definitely wasn't accidental.

It's a very good interview except he's 76

But I can't believe it wasn't an all out attack like they've been doing for the past months.

History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid.
Dwight D. Eisenhower

Every question

was a veiled attack.

Here are the questions:
1) He starts by repeating criticism that he's "dangerous".
2) Romney is in a double digit lead. If he wins NH and SC he will be unstoppable. No?
3) Do you view the debates as the last opportunity to convince the GOP Romney is not their guy?
4) Is Sanatorium the conservative alternative to Romney?
5) Is it personal between you and Newt?
7) They call you dangerous, they call you naive, especially when it comes to Iran... what would president Paul do when Iran sabre rattles like that?
8) Like Obama he has young supporters. At 79, why?
9) You're the oldest GOP candidate, but young people like you. Some say it's just because they want to do drugs. Why do they like you?
10) You also get support from all these crazy racists. Are you comfortable with this?
11) Watch this video of a NH supporter who is racist against the Chinese.
12) Honestly, do you see a path to the nomination or do you see this campaign merely as a platform for a movement that is important to you?
13) If you don't win, you may get a platform at the convention like Jesse Jackson. Do you see that?

Of all the questions they could have asked him this is what was brought up. Do you see how all the questions subtly plant ideas and force him to talk about ridiculous BS? This is not journalism. This is mind control.

+1. Yes, yet another example of applied disinformation tactics

I saw this interviewer agenda applied countless times in MSM before ... for nearly 20 years now (I'm 40), 17 or so of which ... in France, my country of origin.

Here's how that works, people :

First, the context.

A. Big media mega corp with very specific corporate business agenda which implies, from time to time, or maybe ALL the time (then, glance: at FOX or CBS more than CNN) the giving an implicit, DISGUISED support to the other candidates, but NOT the one at hands, on the grill, there -- during the so called "interview".

B. "Famous", "reputed" (or whatever) "host" / interviewer who has, as a career holder at corp in (A) his/her own agenda on the task, with specific personal goals before getting off the hook and moving on to something else after, for same employer.

C. 1 -- Attack STRATEGY:

1.a. do NOT propose to discuss the candidates positive IDEAS for the country
1.b. instead, focus on bringing on the table whatever some hypothetical or actual paranoid point of view from ANYWHERE might regard as questionable w.r.t. the candidate's past experience, past words (if so, taken out of context preferably), past acquaintances, etc
2. then, proceed with the inquisitive questioning on C.1.b
3. repeat with C.2, and repeat, and repeat -- see TACTICS below for implementation of this step

C. 2 -- Attack TACTICS:

Dumb simple : whenever the candidate tries to raise the level of discussion / recenter about the IDEAS he thinks are at stake for the country and among his/her concerns to not miss to include as part of a constructive debate, more relevant, instead ... just make sure you cut off his/her time of speech on these and do whatever it takes to waste the time with the pile of cr*p you've made your homework for in the biased foundations laid out in above strategy.

On others of filthier categories (FOX, CBS...) tactics implementation will also involve cutting off the candidate's words in the middle of the sentences or just pure pretendingly casual nonsense completely unrelated, completely off the thorough thinking that a sane mind would like to follow on important subjects. Even better if you're female with distracting (for the weaks) cleavage, make up, or etc.

'Hope it helps.

Great interview!

Dr. Paul got SO much time to speak and answer the questions!
I wish that at the end, when King was asking if Paul were hoping to be a force in the convention, he'd said:
"Yeah, that sounds like a lot of fun. But I'd much rather that I be the nominee and have Romney's delegates pushing to put things onto the party platform."

But then I realized that Romney's delegates wouldn't actually have anything to put onto the party platform...

He's still sharp as a razor.

He's still sharp as a razor. Always love the way he talks circles around those media guys.

How far we have come

From my perspective, taken in toto, this was the most respectful and complete opportunity from the BIG MEGA to present our position.

RP rose to the occasion in the finest fine form I have seen from countless fine form.

"You are a den of vipers and thieves."

I mean to rout you out!

-Just because you are among us, does not make you with us

-The door is wide open, anything can slither in

Make no mistake about the media

They can no longer ignore him and ridiculing now doesn't work as well.

Don't ever believe they have given up, they are just refining their strategies to fight the freedom movement that is progressing much too well for their liking.

Absolutely agree Lars

I have said from the beginning that the Media(BIG MEGA) will never "come around" because RP/We are the mortal enemy of the organized crime syndicate for which they are the mouthpiece.

We are engaged in a death match with an opponent that considers no weapon off the table and possesses the resources for a very long struggle.

Clearly this interview is, as you indicate, an example of trying a different strategy.

For us, it is an indication that the crime syndicates internal info(which is far more complete and accurate than ours) is telling them their first level defenses are failing.

This should cheer us but this segment of humanity, those that seek power to control and exploit the majority, has always existed, will likely always exist and will always pursue the exploitation agenda to the limits of their power.

The key for us is to limit their power, to defang them and to then ensure they remain permanently defanged because their innate desire to control others for selfish self interest alone will never wane.

Well said

I like the term "crime syndicate" which is exactly what it is.

At least...

JK didn't bring up the "Newsletters." Have we finally moved on from that?! haha. We have become so good at recognizing the "spin" it's sicking, but the Good Doctor's message cures all.

what a tool

chuck norris, the american military, and american idol 2003 support ron paul amongs millions of others, and he likes to single out the stupidest ones.

He was spot on! I only wish he would respond to the question of "Do you see yourself as POTUS?" with "Absolutely, I can repair what's broken."

Wow ...

That is probably the best I have seen Paul in an interview. He usually gets caught up in his run-on sentences and out of breath trying to get so many ideas out all at once , but he really reigned it in and nailed every question in this one. The lighting and setting was also very good as it didn't make him look to be 100 years old.
