As I stated before, the only true protection Ron Paul will have is having people in place, that will push the r3VOLution, to take over if anything should happen. He needs supporters in places of political power as well. He needs a strong movement coming in behind his presidency that will terrify any powers that want to try anything.

The comments here refer to my comment (now deleted in this thread) which referred to a poll I wrote and e-posted at DemoChoice. There's nothing wrong with that poll, which is still open, but I mentioned it here too often, that's all. When you click on the "main page" there at my poll, you then see, not the main page of DemoChoice, but the main page of the poster of the poll, in that case, me and my personal Web publication. Strategy
I think the strategy and focus right now is to keep Santorum down and out as much as possible. Stay in no less than second in these upcoming primaries and collect as many delegates as possible.
The rest of the field needs to clear out, so Ron can garner those votes and go head to head with Romney. Then the fun begins.
Romney can play it cool right now, but it won't last too much longer. However the primary plays out, Ron Paul will be carrying a great deal of clout either way.

As others have pointed out: Republicans don't really care about winning. They are doing the same bidding as the Democrats. The only person that they DON'T want in power is the only honest man standing, Ron Paul.

Romney has never praised Ron. I am wondering if people say that because they truly have been taken into his smooth talking and bought the lemon he is selling.
He has never praised Ron's 'leadership' - that is pulled out of thin air to please Romney.
So what if he called him a constitutionalist, Romney believes he is one as well. I am sure you have seen videos of Romney mocking Paul, but I guess some people believe that type of behavior is acceptable if it comes from Romney. If it comes from others like Newt or Santorum or Perry, then that candidate must be pounced upon and called globalist names.

The "our constitutionalist" statement.
There is context implied in my comment which is that of comedy, since I'm sure Romney doesn't "want to be VP", it's also why I added "^^".
However poorly my message came across my statements or still true or, can at least be said truthfully in theory.That still doesn't mean I accept those statements as truthful in practicality.

Ron Paul has already said he wouldn't consider any of them as running mates. And that wouldl stand against everything Paul stands for...Romney can't just change over night. how dangerous would this be. Paul could die and then who would we be left with? Romney!

Umm, the VP is first in line for office if the President dies. You don't think the FED would have any qualms about bumping off Paul to get Romney in as President?
I think they haven't messed with each other yet because they both know the other has plenty of money to sustain a long war. Right now, both are content to knock out the lower candidates and hope that the race itself will lead to more delegates for them as well as the prospect of claiming any unpledged delegates.
The other candidates all think they will be the "anti-Romney" if Ron Paul would just get out of the way, that's why the others are all attacking Paul. He stands in their way of getting one-on-one against Romney.
There's two contests going on here. The first contest is Ron vs. Romney but that is the main event that you know is coming on this fight card. Right now, it's all about the undercards fighting.

It's not about Romney... he's just a puppet whether he knows it or not! Mitt is just a front for his handlers i.e. the establishment! I don't think Romney is a power hungry person like Newt or even Santorum. Romney is one of those guys that got encouraged to get into politics by other people who wanted the benefits from their friendship!
Romney doesn't want to be president for fame or money, he already has those. Newt wants fame & power, Santorum wants power.
We don't have to worry about Romney... it's his handlers! And it's those people who would do something! Also, a Romney/Paul ticket wouldn't do us any good either; the VP has no real power!!!
Maybe my analysis is wrong.... but that's my 2 cents!
