Why do they hate us?

I have exposed my Aunt to Ron Paul and have been asked this question.

Anyone have a link to a good video / article that explains this well (our interventions over there, Iran -1953, blowback, etc, etc)?

honestly, I don't think that "they hate us." i.e. it's a myth put forth by the "military industrial complex" to justify a never-ending-war.

ron paul is correct, I believe, in wanting to bring all the troops home. the days of looting resources via the military are numbered.

all the other republicans, and most democrats, are supporting an archaic foreign policy that, while centuries old, needs to be retired.

There was a great interview with the fella taking the place of Bhutto where in he said... THE U.S. SUPPORT FOR MUSHARAAF A DICTATOR HAS LED TO AL-QEADA GROWTH AND THE GENERAL HATE OF PAKISTANI'S FOR AMERICA!!

I don't have a link I saw it on t.v. but too me... that said alot about why they hate us..

I think nimbo below is a bit confused... lol!!
