Imagine If Tim Tebow endorsed Ron Paul
Submitted by Mruiz201 on Mon, 01/09/2012 - 18:24in
I don't think it will happen, but I can day dream cant I?!
Ron Pauls principles coincide with christian values. It may not be so far a stretch of the Imagination.
My day dream goes like this: Tim Tebow Wins the Super Bowl and they ask him what he's going to do next...
Everyone is expecting him to say "I'm going to Disney World"
But instead he say's "I'm going to a Ron Paul Rally...." lmao!
:)

Ask Tebow
WWJD?
"Blessed are the peacemakers, they shall be called the children of God."

would just s--- their pants if this happened. Local radio 630AM talk all about Tebow and Romney- Yuk to the latter. Die hard neocon and recent Obama defector and Romney supporter. Disgusting.
Having Tebow on our side would blow their world here in Denver.
In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.
I just sent a tweet to
I just sent a tweet to Tebow... lets get on this.. greeat idea.
I was literally thinking
I was literally thinking about this earlier today, strange! However, I'll say this - the way the media is still slanted against Ron Paul, it'd bring Tebow even more bad press - and he'd have a lot of pro-Life / Christian-led groups turn on him. My Mom works for Jockey, who endorses Tim Tebow, and let me say this - Tebow is, from what she's shared with me a solid, solid dude. However, in addition - he is a PR guru - whether it's on purpose, or simply from following Christ's values I don't know - but IF it was a PR stand point, he'd probably take into account the media's negative view of Dr. Paul. At the same time, the media has marginalized Tebow for his faith somewhat, so maybe they'd make a good pair!
"Let it not be said that we did nothing. Let not those who love the power of the welfare / warfare state label the dissenters of authoritarianism as unpatriotic or uncaring." - Dr. Ron Paul
He has also spent much of his life as a missionary...
so I hope that he has gained some significant insight to the innocence of women, men, and children who suffer at the hands of their governments. I have a feeling Tebow would agree that Christ was the Prince of Peace and that minds are changed by spreading the LOVE of Christ through honest friendship and good will - not bombs and bullets.
We should do a tebow twitter
We should do a tebow twitter bomb. Or maybe a chipin to donate to a prolife group if he wears "RON PAUL" on his eye patch.
I like Tim Tebow
He has taken a lot of heat, mainly for being a decent God fearing guy. But here's the rub, Tim Tebow is an evangelical. Evangelicals are typically pro-war Zionists with a singular devotion to ushering in Armageddon.
Tim Tebow has made a lot of press by bucking societal trends and being very vocal about his faith, all of which I admire. However, does he embrace the pro-war views of his peers or is he more in line with Christ in this regard? It's one thing to stand against those who hate you (and yes, many irrationally hate this kid), it is an altogether different proposition to oppose those who idolize you.
Even those who indeed have the love of Christ in their hearts, may have a difficult time breaking free from years of pro-war propaganda and cultural brainwashing, I know, because it took a long time for me. My own views on foreign policy only began to change in the last few years and I have been a believer in Christ since 1990, and a Libertarian since 1996. It definitely would be a wonderful endorsement to have, but I won't be holding my breath.

WWJD
Ask him what would Jesus do? He didn't like war! But peace. I always wonder why dr Paul never says that. I would look at the crowd and yell act like Christians! Jesus wanted peace, he didn't want war. Don't you think that would him home? It should lol

CBS quote
I thought the CBS reporter's quote "Ron Paul was like an assassin with one bullet" in dealing with Gingrich certainly applied to Tebow on the final play of the game.
One shot down the field is all it took
Yeah, at 3:16, the banned number on his face
It's 1984: "Christians" is a word that is no longer uttered. The new label for them is "Evangelicals" "Evangelicals" should start saying: "Call me what I am. I am a Christian, gotta problem with that? If so, what's your problem? "
God will prevail.
Although... I know many
Although... I know many Christians that would never consider themselves to be "evangelicals".
Tim Tebow
I wish the very best for Tim Tebow and try my best not to judge people that I don't know.
I hope he doesn't fall into the Neoconservative Political Christian mold.
Life, Liberty... and the Pursuit of Happiness.
That would be..
without a doubt totally awesome.
Tebow Tea Party Time With RP !!

Rather have a Drew Brees
Rather have a Drew Brees endorsement!
Any homeschoolers with a connection to Mary Pride?
It appears that she has endorsed Ron Paul.

I know that Tim Tebow was homeschooled - maybe Mary could get to him?
Who is this Tim Tebow person?
I see him mentioned all over. Refuse to google celebrities. Did he drive a shopping cart through a snowball stand or something?

You rock, Mike Lawson!
He's the QB for the Denver Broncos.
He always gives credit and thanks to the Lord.
For everything.
Lots of love and hate for the guy.
An endorsement from Tebow
An endorsement from Tebow would be great.
I read somewhere that his football game had 45 million viewers. All those people who like Tebow and will likely do as he says could help out RP. I can only imagine such a thing.
strange 'coincidence'
Tebow threw for 316 yards
Had a 31.6 ypp avg
Television rating of 31.6

and
had John 3:16 painted under his eyes.
no
If Ron Paul was a quarterback he would throw the ball like a quarterback.
If Tebow was a Quarterback he would also throw like a quarterback... but he cant throw for poop, and he plays like a running back. some people just get by with luck and not skill.
I have no idea about Tebow
but i know that John Elway doesn't like Ron Paul. I think there were some pictures of RP fans among Gator supporters during the 2008 campaign.
Tim was on Hannity
Promoting his book, Wish he would have just busted out with a Ron Paul shout out. I know he does humanitarian work overseas so he's at least exposed to the Idea of Blow back(I think)
