NO CLEAR DECISION IN IOWA CAUCUSES
Iowa failed to clearly identify a GOP frontrunner even after 10 months of campaigning.
Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee tied at 17% of the vote each for second place. Their battle for GOP frontrunner status now moves to New Hampshire and Michigan.
John McCain miraculously surged to 13% for third place and is headed to NH with a major boost to his campaign. He should now be considered a favorite to win NH.
Both Fred Thompson, who is expected to drop out today after a dismal 9% showing, and Rudy Guiliani at 6% placed poorly. Rudy is campaigning today in a Cuban neighborhood in Miami - one of his last strongholds.
Hunter dropped out and endorsed McCain after receiving only 1%.
Little known Congressman Ron Paul won the caucuses with 33% of the vote. Even though he received the most votes and has raised more than money than any other Republican candidate in the 4th quarter, political observers claimed that Paul real support can not be measured in dollars or people who actually show up to vote.
Frank Lutz stated, "Obviously, Congressman Paul is building his organization on people who actually vote. I am convinced his support will melt once we move into primaries with electronic voting devices."
No comment was available from the Paul campaign since no media organization chose to have a representative at his headquarters. Media organizations did however repeatedly play over and over again a portion of a 1988 interview in which Paul addressed his historical concerns of government policies implemented in the 1860s.
A poll last month showed Congressman Paul in 5th place in New Hampshire. Political observers expected the results of the Iowa caucuses not to change his poll numbers given that the NH Attorney General announced 1 hour before the Iowa Caucuses that Ron Paul was suspected of sponsoring "push polls" attacking cute puppies, motherhood, nuns, and the disabled.
NBC correspondant Tim Russert said he expects Paul to run as a third party candidate in light of the results. "I can't get through my own son's room without stepping on a Ron Paul sign. I think Paul can't resist a third party bid since he has no hope of winning the Republican nomination."

Such wit. Bravo for the humor.
May I share:
"Who is Ron Paul? That seems to be the question being asked here in Iowa as 33% of Iowans who have come out to caucus have shown their support for the unknown candidate, Rob Paul. Nobody seems to know who he is, however, and have been told instead to "Google Ron Paul". One young supporter dressed as a statue of liberty had this to say, "I raised $6 million for Dr. Paul all by myself. I sat in my basement for hours and used my parent's credit card to spam Visa with all these charges... of course I will be voting for Senator Clinton, but I wanted to piss off my parents." So, there it is folks, the secret to Ron Paul's success."
LOL
"I am convinced his support will melt once we move into primaries with electronic voting devices."

That's good stuff. Well
That's good stuff. Well done. I'll be looking at that same article in my local paper, the San Diego Union-Tribune, as well. The only difference will be that they will not mention Ron Paul by name. They'll just report on the rest of the candidates.

How About
Will Paul fold up his tent after fluke victory in Iowa?
Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.

The mainstream media is dead.

lol
don't forget
"Ron Paul's supporters are a relatively small group of tech savvy young people who succesffully hacked into the Iowa GOP headquarters computers in order to change the outcome of the caucus. An investigation is underway and several experts confirm that a Ron Paul victory was never possible in this state. These are the same small group of supporters who hacked into the Federal Reserve Nov. 5th and Dec. 16th to create an artificial 10+ million dollars which the Paul campaign claims was donated by more than 100,000 donors."
