When articulating his

When articulating his thoughts on sensitive issues, I think Dr. Paul should use the term "decriminalize" rather than "legalize." People hear the word "legalize" and immediately equate that to "support," whereas "decriminalize" sounds more neutral, and represents his positions more clearly.

I Like That He Uses The Actual Word

instead of using a euphemism, which would smack of a "politician."

I would agree, but it's not a euphemism if it describes his viewpoint better.

Dr. Paul is finally dressing presidential

I am glad to see that he is dressing better. It really makes a big difference when his clothes are tailored.

Mrs Paul said that

his clothes have been tailored all along.

another newt Gingrich flip flop

Gingrich position on Marijuana

Newt started off as a user and an advocate of marijuana legalization (at least, medical marijuana), before becoming one of the most passionate opposition of legalization.

“Gingrich’s response to questions about his youthful drug experimentation (“That was a sign we were alive and in graduate school in that era”) was uncharacteristically graceful and in perspective and mature… ”
1 May 1995, New York Magazine, page 42

In 1982, Gingrich, in his capacity as a member of the House of Representatives, wrote a letter to the Journal of the American Medical Association expressing his support towards medical marijuana.

“The American Medical Association's Council on Scientific Affairs should be commended for its report, "Marijuana: Its Health Hazards and Therapeutic Potential" (1981;246:1823). Not only does the report outline evidence of marijuana's potential harms, but it distinguishes this concern from the legitimate issue of marijuana's important medical benefits. All too often the hysteria that attends public debate over marijuana's social abuse compromises a clear appreciation for this critical distinction….

Federal law, however, continues to define marijuana as a drug "with no accepted medical use," and federal agencies continue to prohibit physician-patient access to marijuana. This outdated federal prohibition is corrupting the intent of the state laws and depriving thousands of glaucoma and cancer patients of the medical care promised them by their state legislatures…

The Media Is Shameless

They will bring up the newsletters 1000 times but not call out Gingrich on things like this.

It's particularly ironic given his characterization of Dr. Paul's support base.

We Are All On A Drug

It's called the fight for liberty.

Newt Gingrich, Marianne and the Arms Dealer: A Buried FBI Investigation

"It is an in-depth look at one of several reasons Gingrich was run out of Congress, this one involving arms deals and dictators, ala Hussein. It is important Republicans not nominate a person given to being blackmailed, which the DOJ, O'bama II, and Hillary would know about. Both Romney(Bane Corp. and Cayman Island off-shore accounts) and Gingrich are neglecting the felony crimes in their background. The Democrats will remind all of us if we don't get the facts out front now."

Sent in by an astute citizen of these United States.

Soghanalian said in a series of interviews before his death that men associated with Marianne Gingrich convinced him that Speaker Gingrich would use his influence to lift the embargo and allow Soghanalian to collect the millions of dollars owed to him by Iraq “in exchange for a $10 million payment to Gingrich through his associates.” Soghanalian was to pay the money – not to the Gingriches directly – but through a think tank, The Institute for Advanced Strategic & Political Studies (IASPS), which has offices in the United States and Israel.

Wow, and he had his ex do some of the dirty work...

but then again, look who her employer was....
"Marianne Gingrich, in a series of telephone interviews from her homes in Georgia and Florida, acknowledges meeting the arms dealer in Paris but insists her participation was to solicit an investment from Soghanalian for her former employer, the Israel Export Development Corporation (IEDC). She says the company was running short on cash and her meetings with the arms dealer had nothing to do with Iraq and arms dealing. Newt Gingrich did not return repeated telephone calls for comment." talk about the proverbial smoking gun, whoa! this is as bad or worse than Fast & Furious gun running scandal.

Here, we have the MSM inviting Ron PAul--to talk about ANOTHER candidate! Let's realize that none of the coverage we get will be about our R3VOLUTION! Please, please, please, realize that the way to overcome the MSM is our TELEVISION ADS. This is how Ron Paul's message gets to the sheeple. Donate, sacrifice, give whatever you can to spread Ron Paul's message on the airwaves to overcome the MSM's lack of support.

Classic RP.

It's time for America to choose...

Do you want to be the world's police, spending the bulk of our money creating military bases all over the world in over a hundred sovereign countries, until we are totally bankrupt. OR

Do you want to live in a prosperous, FREE AND INDEPENDENT country that leads the world as an example of success.

Tell em that Dr. Paul!

IMO -- really fair questions.

IMO -- really fair questions. No 3rd party crap. No 'supporting the nominee' junk. Just plain old political type questioning that I would expect to see of other candidates. And on top of that, Wolf gave Dr. Paul time to explain his positions.

Gingrich's stereotype

If Gingrich is allowed to call us all drug addicts, are we allowed to call all of his supporters war mongering chicken hawks?

ChickenHawk Gingrich

Doesn't deserve any attention from the republican party after he lied infront of so many supporters from the last debate. He said that he wasnt drafted can you believe that? RP pointed out that he got not one not two but 5 defernments it documented online. Also she cheated on his wife while his wife was suffering from cancer. And he has the balls to excuse that he has wife and kids thats why he didnt go. Unlike Ron Paul he said he has wife and kids but when he was called he went.

Gingrich is so UN PRESIDENTIAL the way he talks and accuse his fellow nominee. People dont even know what the issues his running for just like Romney and Santorum. RP is the only candidate who is well informed and up to date, same thing with his supporters. We are the most informed and the most enthusiastic of all.

"When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty."

war mongering chicken hawks?

How about fat, sweaty war mongering chicken hawks?

Freedom is my Worship Word!

richgrise comment

And smoking big cigars laughing at the young who got fooled to fight the wars, they are to chicken to fight .Keep it coming rich .. like that ..

Bugs in the machine's picture

Or how about

Or maybe cheaters? Or maybe the more politically correct ethically challenged?

By claiming there is no conspiracy, you prove to those who believe in the conspiracy that you are part of the conspiracy.

BringonDrliberty comment

Yeah, bringit on seems as though they learned young to work smart, but get someone else to fight your battles for you . Can,t get there hands too dirty in any righteous causes like liberty .

It really

pisses me off that he can paint a brush on so many people like that. Most of Gingrich's support comes from the basis that he is "smart" and not on any specific policy he endorses. It makes me even more mad that most "drug addicts" haven't done nearly any of the hanus crap that he has done that actually effects other people(tax payers). Does he realize he is polarizing an already fracturing GOP?

I am in
