Ron Paul Just Defended Romney on CNN!

He just showed how classy he is by defending Romney over the smear campaign taking Mitt's words out of context.

Truth is truth!

However I still don't think Romney is going to live down the classic moment from the debate when Romney deferred to Ron Paul to answer a question about the constitution.

If you didn't hear this commentary on that moment, it's worth checking out:

Ron defended Romney and Bain

Ron defended Romney and Bain on philosophical principle and was right on the money. Ron doesn't flip flop and holds true to principal and held true in his defense of Romney...we should not expect Ron to do anything else, but stand up for truth. Ron stood up for truth in his defense of Romney in this situation...Atlas is Shrugging...he is tired and being beaten down...Ron is taking Atlas' load and defending the truth and we should support him on this and wake people up.

Who is John Galt? Vote ███ ███ 2012!

This is BRILLIANT Politics

And that is what makes Dr. Paul an anamoly. He is speaking complete truth to people regardless of his political opponents.
#1) It furthers the Romney desire to have a Paul Romney 2 man race
#2) It gives a glean in the eye to the Romney Campaign and GOP who knows they need to Ron Paul supporters to win the election but they are not aware that we still will not vote for Romney even if they imagine some sort of Romney & Paul ticket which just will not fly
#3) IT GIVES RON PAUL THE HIGH GROUND OF FAIRNESS AND TRUTH AMONG THE ROMNEY SUPPORTERS. It is not going to be seen as anything by Mitt supporters of anything but respect for Ron Paul and not playing negative politics but as a matter of fact truthful politics.

Ron is going to make this a 2 man race and then tun the table by exposing Mitt being a Wall Street puppet and as Dr. Paul gets more MSM exposure thinking they can turn this into a 2 man race and eventually run out Ron it will only lead to more being converted to Dr. Paul by default because of critical thinking conversation. Remember we have 3x as many supporters this time around AT LEAST and also allies in the dem party and they are all converting new supporters and donating.

Do not forget..Pres. would probably rather face Paul thinking he can win against "The Old Man" it may be the undoing of their entire process. He can beat Romney but he cannot beat Dr. Paul but they do not know this. They fear Romney's looks, big donors and Fox influence along and populist anger against the GOP can get Mitt the election because of his poll numbers among Repubs. So they would rather face Ron Paul and it will be the end to the Dems as they know it in 2012.

Dr. Paul can unite.

Huntsman took Romney's

Huntsman took Romney's statement out of context.

In addition, Huntsman has no room to talk, apparently Huntsman Inc. employs approx. 12,000 people. Only 2,000 in America.

This just goes to show you

This just goes to show you how even when the cards are right for Dr. Paul to score political points he will never abandon his principles. Taking easy aim at Romney for this could have gotten Ron a few votes, but again he takes the high road maintaining his style of principle centered leadership. Well done Ron.

Of course Romney had the ad about Obama taken out of context...

That was funny how Romney did the ad where Obama was quoted...but Obama was quoting McCain! lol

Romney needs to be bashed for

Romney needs to be bashed for protecting the FED, flip on abortion, flip on gun control, supporting bailouts, Romneycare, etc....and esp....he still has the Chicken Hawk stuff coming his way!

“Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it’s realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy.”

Ron Paul!

Statesman AND honest! There IS NO OTHER!

Give us clear vision, that we may know where to stand and what to stand for - because unless we stand for something, we shall fall for anything.

Good Catch Dither. That Is "Be Fair! Be Fair!" Bash...

trying to nose her way into the feedbag for some more media oats.

"Be fair! Be fair!" Lulz!

For the record Frothy

also defended Mittens

WTG, Ron

Though, Romney still needs to take a hit for the $10,000,000.00 bailout of Bain.

The ironies of life

Just today RUSH was RAVING over Newt going after capitalism on this issue. He was flabbergasted at the Republican nominees attacking capitalism.

It sure would be fun to send him this clip of Ron Paul defending capitalism...... especially after yesterday's fiasco.

Thomas Jefferson: “Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever."

Viva La Revolucion!

I think if Ron Paul does not win

I think he can ... Romney will choose Rand for VP

Patriot News
Stand up For your Civil Rights

If that happens, I hope Paul has the strength to "Just Say No"

Linking up with Romney would only hurt Paul in the long run.

has no chance without Rand. However, i have a feeling that RP wins. I just can't stand these bums "Santorum and Huntsman" and wait for the moment they have their pc's.

Good for Ron Paul.

And shame on Newt for attacking capitalism using Marxist rhetoric. And shame on both Newt and Huntsman for taking Romney's words out of context to formulate a dishonest attack. I hope Huntsman is done after New Hampshire. What a disappointment. I thought he was a decent fellow but he turned out to be a snake.

By the way, I'm not at all surprised that Ron didn't join in on the dishonest, anti-capitalistic Romney bashing. Ron always tells the truth. That's why we love him! And he'll tell the truth about Romney's record in due time.

P.S. Kudos to Romney for not joining in on the newsletter pile-up when given the opportunity. He chose the high road and said that he took Ron Paul at his word. (Of course, Romney has enough surrogates out there that he might have been using some of them to push the newsletter story, but that's just speculation.)

I'm so proud of Ron Paul for saying that

Someone needs to do a video of Ron Paul in that interview vs. Huntsman's sleazy distortions.

I see Dana Bash in that video!

She hasn't learned her lesson yet.

Yeah, you're right!

Good observation!

And I agree...

we need to stay consistent, and what Romney did with Bain, as far a I can tell, is totally free market. Assuming there was no fraud or dishonesty involved there (coulda been!).

I also think the "like to fire people" is ridiculous, taken WAY out of context, and should be defended as well. I also like *to have the option* of 'firing' a service provider when they don't give me what I'm paying for. Otherwise, I am forced into accepting goods with no recourse for poor service. That's what Romney meant. Gotta go take a shower now for defending Romney, to get the stink off... :)

'Cause there's a monster on the loose

I'm glad he didn't do what Huntsman did

This morning I told my wife how dispicable Huntsman and Perry and Gingrich were by taking Romneys words out of context. I'm so glad Ron Paul didn't do that. Huntsman is a real sleazeball when it comes to those things. Just like he jumped on that crazy Chinese Youtube video. He's an opportunist who doesn't seem to care if he's telling people the full truth.

good strategy

Ron Paul will need Romney supporters when Mitt drops out.

See, this is the kind of

See, this is the kind of thing I love about Ron Paul (and what a lot of people don't seem to understand on this forum... namely the irrational, conspiracy wing of our movement).

I have no doubt that many conspiracies are true - I know many of them to be true - but there is a part of our movement that literally believes anything remotely factual and speculative to the point where they draw conclusions that are essentially impossible to derive to logically. They speculate and take a leap of faith all the time, rather than strictly adhere to logic and reason.

At least it's refreshing to know Dr. Paul understands this, even if a minority in our movement does not.
