The AP is reporting Ron Paul has ZERO delegates from Iowa, Are they trying to end the primary?

I work at Democratic Convention Watch where we count superdelegate and delegate allocation. We were the first place anywhere to have a full list of superdelegates in 2008 and helped to make it a huge issue that tipped the scales for Obama.

We know our stuff and even though I'm a Democrat I can't help but think something is fishy. The AP is giving Ron Paul ZERO delegates from Iowa while giving Romney 13. The truth is all candidates should have zero delegates from Iowa as they're unpledged. Ron Paul could get all of the delegates if people are able to take over the Iowa state convention. As of right now NOONE has any delegates from Iowa.

It seems to me that the AP is under-reporting to hasten the end of the primaries.

Isn't it typical for the AP

to be sloppy in reporting delegate counts? Didn't this happen in various ways, depending on the state, in 2008 where Ron Paul was concerned?

Well, fishy? Yes. But I'm pretty sure fishy is situation normal.

best source of tracking delegates i've found. true that delegates can change ove rthe course so as long as the initial vote% is there, then Ron is entitled to the proportional delegate allocation depending on teh states GOP rules.

NOONE?

As in Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits?

Sorry to pick nits, but noone is not a word. Didn't you see the red squiggly under that when you typed it? It's NO ONE, not NOONE. Noone is not a word (except as a proper name.) No one is two words, not one. I see it all the time, and it's as bad as people using "it's" when they mean "its" or "your" when they mean "you're," etc. I don't mean to be the spelling or grammar Nazi, but let's look a little more educated - especially when the software lets you know you most likely are making a mistake.

No King but Jesus, no President but Ron Paul

Loose vs. Lose

Ever notice how many people type loose when they're talking about losing something?

Also I "drug" my ass outta bed this morning. How 'bout dragged.

Thanx,

Jason

Oh, y, that is another

Oh, y, that is another horrible one because the whole sentence makes no sense. They are two completely different words..
Loose is what your pants are if they fall off. Loosing is not a good word.
Lose means not winning or not finding something..
'We do not want Ron to loose the election' is a nonsensical sentence.

I agree

Finally someone has the nerve to stand up and fight for a space between "no" and "one". I absolutely do not like when people write "noone" instead of "no one". In my opinion, it makes the writer look like an idiot. There really is no excuse anymore. A little red squiggly line appears under the misspelled text and it only takes seconds to make the correction. The other mistakes you mention are pet peeves of mine too, but "noone" is inexcusable in my book.

Drain the swamp!

you do seem like a proper english nazi

like we have time for that.

If you want to communicate

If you want to communicate your thoughts....incorrect spelling and/or grammar can be quite confusing causing distortion and misunderstanding in what you have written. It detracts from your message and lessens your chances of being taken seriously.

As a known Grammar Cop, I

As a known Grammar Cop, I completely agree. If you can not post in proper English than do not publicly post. I think there are a LOT of incorrect spellings and grammar on here and we should "ticket" them all. "Would of" and should of" is meaningless and
REALLY gets me, along with Your and You're and horrific skewings of Me and I. Like 'my friend and me went..' I mean, please you guys use the verb to yourself before you say something..do you ever say "Me went..?" NO..you say I went..so when it is you and your daughter it is 'my daughter and I'.

Dear Grammar Cop, you're busted.

Consider yourself busted and ticketed. Violations:

If you can not post in proper English than do not publicly post.

"then," not "than" is correct English.

I think there are a LOT of incorrect spellings and grammar

The verb "is" should be used when "a lot" is the subject of the sentence; it's a singular noun, not plural.

"Would of" and should of" is meaningless and REALLY gets me

Two examples make the subject of the sentence plural, and "are" should be used, rather than "is." And you should have used "get" instead of "gets" to make your verb agree with the plural subject. AND you neglected to place a quotation mark in front of "should of."

along with Your and You're and horrific skewings of Me and I.

You should use quotation marks around "your," "you're" and "me" to demark the words, instead of capital letters.

Like 'my friend and me went..' I mean, please you guys use the verb to yourself before you say something..do you ever say "Me went..?" NO..you say I went..so

An ellipsis is three dots ... not two. And separate the dots from the two adjacent words with a space ... like this. And you should have placed commas after "please" and after "you guys" to denote the direct address.

But I love you anyway.

I prefer being tolerant of bad spelling and grammar

But I do notice lotsa bad spelling. Oh well.

Thanx,

It's just an estimate.

It's just an estimate. National delegates aren't chosen/elected until June. They don't have a clue what went on the ground though. It'll change in June when the delegates are *actually* elected.

There isn't a conspiracy here. They just feel a need to give an estimate, and like I said, they don't know how it actually worked out and made some assumptions. They'll correct it in June.

Campaign should

provide some official statement regarding the delegates...

Hello... the word is spelled...

PROPAGANDA! and also DISINFORMATION!

Why? It works... at least it used to work! For an increasing number of Americans however, it no longer will work!

Isn't the AP?

...OWNED BY THE Rothschilds?

Thanks

for the heads up.

Current Delegates

From Iowa:

No one got any HARD delegates. So neither Romney, Paul or Santorum received any hard delegates from Iowa. Iowa has "soft" delegates which means that the delegates themselves are NOT bound to vote for any particular candidate, but can choose at the convention.

From NH: Romney received 7 delegates and Ron Paul received 3 delegates. These are hard delegates that count toward the candidates total.

So so far the count is: Romney - 7 and Ron Paul - 3

And THAT'S ALL FOLKS!! I hope this helps, and we have a LONG way to go!

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

A Ben Swann report

A Ben Swann report said after looking into the Iowa delegated count, the delegates given equally were soft delegates, and not actually pledged to any candidate. He did talk to the delegates and at least 7 of them told him that they are decided Ron Paul delegates.

This Iowa thing...

What is up with Iowa?

In Liberty

They are reporting the truth...

In a seriously disingenuous way.

All Iowa delegates are 'soft'. So no one has any delegates.

They would love to end it

And call ORomney the winner.

Don't Worry 'Bout It

You need something like 1,150 delegates to get the nomination. Don't bug out over a few.
