Mitt Romney is not a serious candidate; he is there to help Obama win--
It's not hard to see that Romney's 'heart' (whatever there is left of it after his years of being a successful con man)--
is not in this. He is fulfilling an assignment.

love him or hate him, it's savvy politics for Mitt to say that. That statement will bring him several notches higher in a few peoples' books than either Santorum or Gingrich, who are both dismissive and hostile to Ron Paul and his supporters.
Yes, it was smart and it was true. He knows Ron is serious opposition for him. I think Ron and Mitt actually respect each other in many ways.
