State-sponsored terrorism.

"Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it." -- Joseph Goebbels

If you're going to use that argument, you then have to stress that, "Israel will then need to face the consequences of these actions, if Iran (quite reasonably) decides to retaliate. And if Iran indeed does retaliate, they aren't 'crazy Iranians hell-bent on the destruction of Israel,' they are simply defending their country and 'national interests,' like any country logically would."

I make no assertions beyond

I make no assertions beyond what has happened. It should be self-evident that provocative acts encourage provocative responses.

You'd Think So...

You'd think that people would see what Israel has done for decades and understand that some blowback from their actions is very reasonable...but, on this topic Americans have a blind spot. Therefore, it's probably not a bad idea on our part to reiterate this seemingly obvious concept, over and over.

Yeah, this is an act of war

Yeah, this is an act of war in itself. Disgusting.

No, this by itself will not

No, this by itself will not push Iran to war, that would be suicidal.

You call this defence?

I call this an act of terrorism, and it doesn't suprise me at all that israel is once again behind it.

I don't call it defense.

I don't call it defense. Remember, we're living in an age where "pre-emptive war" is a generally accepted idea.

disturbing . . .

Those who are doing this are thugs!

Getting rid of well-educated people isn't the answer to any world problem!

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

It is a blatant

It is a blatant assassination, but these things are happening all the time for political reasons.
