CNN NH Exit Polls: Ron Paul 88% likely to beat Obama

I wanted to post this last night but couldn't get an account set up until this morning. But i was wondering if anyone else out there saw this little gem last night.

On the bottom of the CNN broadcast they were listing certain exit poll results and one popped up for a few seconds then i never saw it again.

The question was "who can beat Obama?"

the results were that RP had 88%
Mitt had 4%
Newt, Santorum, and Huntsman were in the 1-2% range
and Rick Perry had a respectable -1%

I thought this was pretty amazing and obviously a mistake by the CNN producers to let these results out, unfortunately they squashed it quick and i never got to take a picture or anything. Did anyone else notice this???
UPDATE: (thanks for the link, Phantom)

Repost with screenshot and BUMP

If the numbers for Dr. Paul and Romney had been inverted it would have been headline news.

Just read Philospher's comment below, if he is correct this is no big deal.

I hope you all read this

I hope you all read this comment. The 88% result was from RP supporters, his average amongst all of the candidates polls on this question was 15%. Check out my previous comment to get the CNN link for the exit polls.

Hehe, apparently we have a Ron Paul supporter

embedded at CNN that really doesn't like Perry.

The punks also on CSPAN completely skipped over RP's name

repeatedly as they were announcing the results....

Please help RP get more support in South Carolina, grassroots effort needed:

We have ABSOLUTELY got to start recording CNN and others

Stories get killed and buried, never to be seen again.
CNN went live on location at a precint or ward or what ever in Manchester. CNN's guy was there and showed the workers scrambling to recount the ballots. He said that there were MORE VOTES than ballots. Ok, but what did CNN DO? Their screen immediately went WHITE and they cut the sound. I tried googling that and got a similar 2008 story.
I was watching CNN on Christmas Day when the underwear guy thing was breaking news. Believe me, the first news storyline was very different. How convenient! The next day they roll out the naked body scanners. We should remember to record things. Cspan "lost their signal" When people were chanting "end the fed". At least they trained their cameras on Ronmey's teleprompter.

This is their link; one will

This is their link; one will notice when they get to this question that there are numbers next to the names: RP (15%) this is the overall average. However, the number being talked about in this post 88% shows up when you go from RP's name on the left to RP's name vertically. What this is referencing is the poll by RP supporters. Of RP's supporters RP has an 88% chance of beating Obama; however, overall by combining all of the polling data RP only has a 15% chance of beating Obama; as far as the CNN poll shows.

This is accurate, the exit

This is accurate, the exit poll says the same thing on the website.

Voluntary Association + Mutual Cooperation + 110% Personal Responsibility = 100% Individual Liberty

Ha ha!

That's great, I guess the fakery didn't happen until they got into the studio, this just helps expose how phony CNN is. Thank you for posting the photo.

yes! thanks for the link

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

as I was watching last night, I think it was Blitzer who stated Romney by a wide margin was the one who could beat Obama, according to the exit polls. They showed it very quickly and I was paying attention because of what I had read earlier in the day on Drudge and other places who had named Dr. Paul as the one who could beat Obama. As we already know, CNN is not where one goes when seeking facts.

I'd love to see this one!

I'd love to see this one! That would be a huge help for the electability issue

That's not what it was saying

It was saying that out of the voters who thought Paul was most likely to be beat Obama, 88% of them voted for Paul. It did the same statistic for Romney and Huntsman.

ah if that is the case then i

ah if that is the case then i misinterpreted. But it still is a good stat for the RP cause and obviously they cant allow it to be out in public view for too long
