Ron's chance to kill 5 birds with 1 stone! This must be said...PAY attention campaign!

all Ron has to do is take this attack on Mitt for his capitalist behavior & use it to kill them all...

something simple like...

"They don't need to be attacking Mitt Romney for being a capitalist. They need to support capitalism as Republicans.

Instead, they need to be attacking Mitt Romney for his record. The fact that he supported TARP, the fact that he likes to bail out the bankers & insurance companies. But, the problem is, THEY can't attack his record, because they all supported the same things. When the time came for them to choose a side, THEY turned their backs on the American people and chose to side with the establishment.

I'm the only candidate who sided with the people when it really mattered. I voted against the bailouts, I voted against TARP, and I have throughout my career always stood with the people...while THEY have always stood with the establishment.

As President, I will NEVER side with anyone other than the people. I don't care about special interest groups, I don't care about the establishment, and I don't care about parties. I care about the AMERICAN PEOPLE. My promise as President is to ALWAYS put the people first!"

something to that effect would DESTROY all of the other candidates and make Americans realize that Ron Paul is their guy!

Ron Paul say " I don't want to run your lives"
Uncorruptable..

He Just Said That

in one of the three interviews he gave this morning...almost exactly like you said it.

Changes?

I would make this change:

"and I don't care about parties." <-- I'd change that to politics. Everyone hates politics, but some people love their party. No need to make those republicans upset.

Without my change? I still think this is exactly the sort of move Ron Paul needs to make in order to turn the votes in SC. You are awesome gizzy.

...OR

I don't care about politics; because politicians don't matter very much - but IDEAS DO! (since he's already said that before - heck it's on one of his t-shirts!)

Good Comment, EGhost57!

loved it!

it is us versus them

it is!

make no mistake about it...this is the fight stage and we, the people need to be FIGHTING the enemy...

an excellent piece on thom hartmann tonight explaining the ridiculousness of the republican "platform" sans Dr. Paul, of course...i will try to put it here when it becomes available

we already have, but, please watch this piece to even further help identify the enemy at the ballot box that must be defeated

the question is now being asked, "why are Americans, in such great numbers, voting AGAINST their best interests"?

The strategy that they are

The strategy that they are using is to knock the weaker guys out of the way first. This is going to happen quickly and soon after SC and FL, it is likely to be only Paul and Romney left. Santorum is fading fast and Huntsman isnt going to last much longer either. Once the others are mostly out of the way(and no longer a distraction), Paul will let loose full force on Romney. I have no idea what the effect will be when this happens, but it certainly wont be good for Mittens. All Paul will have to do is compare Flipflop to Obama on how they voted and where they got their campaign money from.(as most know, they are practically identical) The only question is how much of an effect this will have and will it be enough to knock him down.

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.

Yes!

Excellent point. There is a difference between free-market capitalism and crony capitalism, as Ron Paul has frequently pointed out. That's why he's the only Republican to build bridges with the Occupy Wall Street movement. This populist approach would be very helpful, especially in South Carolina. Just giving a blank-check endorsement to Romney's business past isn't all that helpful.

BALLOT ACCESS.

Romney mentioned a few times before but has put little effort into pointing out that all of the other candidates face huge, if not insurmountable odds at beating him in a closely contested race because of their ballot issues. Clearly this is something he is going to spend little time addressing because it would BENEFIT THE PAUL CAMPAIGN AND HURT HIM. Can we all please make a concerted effort to engage the supporters of the other candidates and encourage them not to waste their votes on these lame duck candidates if they want a chance to beat Romney and eventually obama. Point out the media is ignoring this fact and betting on Republicans to stupidly throw their vote out the window thus ensuring a romney nomination.

NEWT and PERRY are currently off the ballot in VA and are basically delegateless after Iowa and NH

Huntsman with 2 Delegates in off the ballot in Va, Arizona and I believe Illinois.

Satorum who has only 6 delegates is off the ballot in DC, VA and only a partial participant in Ohio. This does not take into consideration his finances which may still be questionable. After all it was Santorum himself who called his finances embarrassing on the eve of the Iowa primaries.

SANTORUM, HUNTSMAN, PERRY and NEWT can NOT BEAT ROMNEY FOR THE NOMINATION. PAUL CAN BECAUSE HE IS WELL FUNDED, WELL ORGANIZED, ON ALL THE BALLOTS, HAS TONS OF SUPPORT WHICH IS ENTHUSIASTIC AND CAPABLE (A REAL ASSET TO THE GOP)

MITT ROMNEY CAN NOT BEAT OBAMA BECAUSE HE REPRESENTS THE 1 PERCENT IN AN INCREASING ANTI ONE PERCENT ENVIORMENT, BECAUSE HE OFFERS LITTLE CONTRAST, BECAUSE HE DOES NOT HAVE THE ENTHUSIASTIC FOLLOWING PAUL HAS, HE DOES NOT HAVE THE YOUTH VOTE AND PROBABLY WONT GET THE INDEPENDENT VOTE. CERTAINLY HE WILL NOT ATTRACT ANTI WAR VOTERS.

They tried to bury us, they didn't know we were seeds. -mexican proverb

Somtimes

I wonder if they know this and the plan is to lose to obama on purpose.

Bugs in the machine's picture

Add to that...

He never voted for a debt ceiling increase or any use of American military forces other than to pursue Osama Bin Laden after 9/11. He never accepts lobbyist money or incentives, he has them trained to not even bother trying.

By claiming there is no conspiracy, you prove to those who believe in the conspiracy that you are part of the conspiracy.

Looted companies

two of the companies that Romney looted are in South Carolina in the towns of GAFFNEY and GEORGETOWN. I think both closed and laid off hundreds of workers. Maybe this message wouldn't go over so great there.

Gizzy Great Idea From the Grassroots!!

Send your ideas to the campaign.

Something we forget

Is that mitt and to a less important extent huntsman were both born into money, loads of it. Ron was not and ended up as a small business owner as a doctor and coin store owner (I think he had 3?). This to me is much more important and speaks to real Americans not the elite rockefellers of the world.

Killing Five Birds with One Stone

Gizzy,

You are absolutely, brilliantly right.

I hope Campaign pays attention.

DON'T FORGET.........

RON PAUL HAS ASKED FOR A JANUARY 14TH MONEYBOMB.....SPREAD THE WORD!!!

Please pass the above write-up to RP campaign ASAP!!!

Yes I really like what you're saying. Attack Mitt on his record and demolish him. Mitt supported TARP, Romneycare, etc. The Other GOP candidates have no where to go but down because they supported TARP and crony capitalism programs too.

This is how we win. ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK Mittens on his faulty record on policy issues. Make clear that Mitt is for CRONY capitalism, not Free Markets (there's a COLOSSAL difference between the two).

Please PASS this article to RP campaign immediately with the necessary minor verbiage changes.

Good luck !

I think this morning

I heard RP say somthing very simular, it kinda sounded like he was defending Mitt at first then he lowered the boom. It was a great reccomendation and I am sure the RP people read these posts and get ideas. Good one,

Thank You

sovereign

You need to be careful with your wording.

If you listen - Ron Paul always uses the phrase - "Economic Freedom" not capitalism as the term Capitalism was used by Karl Marx to demonize the wealthy and identify the "bourgeoisie" known today as the 1%.

Ron Paul is careful to identify the crony capitalist verses the wealthy that have earned it honestly.

keep it going....maybe

keep it going....maybe somebody from the campaign will see this & pass it on.

hit 'em hard RON!!

Thank you

for the clarity in language.

Government Bailouts is not Capitalism

There is a huge fundamental distinction between Crony Capitalism real Capitalism. Many people don't know the difference.

A choice for liberty is always a choice for liberty.

I like the way you point out

I like the way you point out that "THEY can't attack Mitt Romney on his record because they did the same thing" is priceless but Ron Paul can and must do so clearly. You are too right.

Good post...it's the record stupid

It's the lobbyists, stupid.

HE should definitely start

HE should definitely start talking about himself as president

Voting AGAINST the Banking Bailouts is RP's "edge" against Obama

I like this part in a TV AD!

"I'm the only candidate who sided with the people when it really mattered.

I've also recommended the same, and everyone let's forward this to Headquarters. Ron is "electable" against Obama on this one point~~the Banking Bailouts! Make this TV AD an "electability" ad.

how do I add my thumbs up?!!

I think you have got a great idea here.

bumping this shit until paul

bumping this shit until paul calls them all out!

death to the establishment!!

Paul can't make such a promise, but close to it.

His oath requires he put the Constitution first.

All he needs to do is clarify, in very simple terms, why doing so in essence, puts the American people first.

He has to make the case again for the Constitution and why it is imperative to adhere to it.

Campaign already has...

I have heard RP make very similar statements in interviews. And while I disagree that Bain was a capitalist enterprise, RP's approach to it, as you have stated, is the best possible way for the official campaign to respond.
