Sen DeMint: GOP can learn from Ron Paul - January 11, 2012 Laura Ingram show-must listen to this

"I would like to see more Libertarian views in Congress."

I think DeMint will vote for Ron Pau;,endorsing him may be political suicide. But he does nothing else but promote Ron Paul here while chastising the Rep Party for excluding Paul.

Demint on Fox and Friends this morning.

i haven't heard much about laura ingram

always seemed like she was somewhat neutral on paul and wasn't too into attacking him even at the height of paul's notoriety in the gop, not just after he started catching fire

Can it be?

Ron Paul vs. Barak Obama 2012

He showed that he's finally

He showed that he's finally getting it when he said, "we're gonna end up in the same place anyway because we're broke!" YES, exactly. Debating the principle of worldwide militarism is moot because we can't afford it anyway!

Praise the Lord... it's finally catching on!

I'm having a little trouble with this...

how can you say that you agree with Ron Paul that we need a limited Constitutional government, but there are a few areas that you don't agree?

what are those areas? Everything that Ron Paul proposes is by the Constitution.

I'm not downplaying the signifigance of this or writing off DeMint, but I'm just having a little trouble understanding this circular argument.

Ron Paul's said this for

Ron Paul's said this for years. Republicans, conservatives, Democrats, liberals, they only disagree on where and to what extent they want big government. This just shows that now Ron Paul's wisdom is being heard, and it will only be a matter of months, or a year or two, before the Republican party pioneers this winning platform, they don't have a choice but to, no matter how much they disagree with having a big government presence overseas, or else they will become a footnote in history.

This entire election year I think is a cleansing, a reawakening to the philosophical roots. All of this vitriol, all of this hate from neocons is understandable. Every day they are reminded of all that they have compromised on, that they have been wrong on. Many of these guys were us 30 years ago in the Reagan Revolution, inspired by almost an identical philosophy, but they have long sense sold out and got sidetracked from the only message that matters. The hate and smears we have grown accustomed to is simply taking out the hatred for what they (establishment, talk radio, etc) have become.

This, folks, is what victory looks like. We've already won.

It doesn't make sense for them to talk about someone else needing to speak like or learn from Dr. Paul instead of just helping achieve THE ACTUAL REAL THING!

They get one thing

Its becoming clear to them its

Ron Paul or Obama take your pick.

Epic Win. We're WINNING but

Epic Win.

We're WINNING but we've gotta keep it going. S.C. and Florida...

she is so close to getting it

When she's talking about Iran and foreign policy yet he inspires a lot of people particularly young people, I just want to reach though the dial and say "are you hearing yourself? Listen to what you're saying, you're answering your own concerns". He inspires people to work toward a more civilized world, particularly among the young; our leaders of tomorrow. If he can inspire the people of the world in the same manner then the outlook for the future is hopeful. Are you aware that 80% of the Iranian population is under 50 years of age? What demographic age group does Ron Paul inspire the most, 18-45?

ecorob's picture

no, she doesn't get it at all...

she managed to pipe in there about his age, 911 wackos, policy on iran, yada yada yada

she is still a tool, a presstitute, a media wore

what you see wearing on her is the lies shes carries...she knows they are lies but she won't face them...she is weary of lying, i'll agree to that but, at just a spin, she can cut Dr. Paul to the bone with neocon talking points

she's either a traitor or a liar...i don't think she is ignorant

its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...

Check this Video out-Tom Davis and the Tea Party

Good video.

here is another good video from Tom Davis. Supposedly, he may be running for Governor of South Carolina.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EidXNr7JCGs&feature=player_embedded#!

This comes as close to a Demint endorsement

as it gets. Good stuff.

I have said many times that a

I have said many times that a DeMint endorsement would be key to the RP campaign. However, DeMint has his own fish to fry right now. I think he believes the kind of controversy that would cause would impede his efforts in building a conservative senate. Not sure that I agree with him, but I think that's where he's at. We do need that senate though, perhaps as much as we need the White House.

Thank you well said

beats the hell out of my lame comment "political suicide" above. This is more like what I was thinking!

Wow! Laura Ingraham used the

Wow! Laura Ingraham used the words neocons and big government conservatives. She's come around a lot. Again its just that imperialist foreign policy they can't seem to let go of.

I'm not sure...

if she's come around or if, for political reasons, she's trying to get on the right side now that the winds are finally shifting in the right direction. Nevertheless, it's remarkable that she did use those words and was acknowledging the fact that this movement is BIG! This is proof that we're making waves - and the waves are soon going to drown out the establishment!

DON'T FORGET........

DeMint is a 'party girl'. If

DeMint is a 'party girl'. If he was any kind of stand-up guy he would endorse his 'friend' Ron Paul. He always has great things to say about Ron Paul's policies.
But DeMint is going to find out that Americans won't vote for another conman like Obamney.

Demint was one of the few Senators to vote against the NDAA

I think he deserves some credit. Poly-tics is a tricky game.

He voted for it before he voted against it? http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_c...

what do you make of Ron Paul Laura?

I make that everyone else are a bunch of HACKS! and people need to start waking up!!

"endorsing him would be political suicide"

I disagree. It may not please people, but in 10 years you will be able to say things like "I was the only senator to endorse Ron Paul". telling you. political success will come from aligning yourself with RP. Like he said - the momentum cannot be stopped!

or Economic Suicide

Sen. Demint Is Promoting His Own Political Aspirations,,,

By hopping on the Ron Paul Liberty train that's heading for the White House in 2013.

the more the merrier IMO. We could do a lot worse than JD

but even they would be welcomed. It's not like they're going to be able to make Paul change his Constitutional ways!
