Flip Flops for Romney

I think a hilarious and possibly effective thing we can do in SC is go to Romney campaign stops if Ron Paul isn't campaigning nearby. Now hear me out :), what we could do is go to his campaigns and then when the media is swarming and Romney is signing autographs we could try our best to get autographs but ask him to sign your flip flop (sandals). It would be hilarious and a subtle way to confront Romney with his past and it would be an excellent visual aid to the media.
What do you think? Is it too antagonistic?
