Death stars and the Force.
AGAINST THE EMPIRE!
MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!
What, no Michael Jackson?
this will fit perfect with the young crowd and provide pure motivation and swagger to the campaign.
it wasn't real
So when Ron said - "They say I am dangerous" - they played the song from the movie - like it was a big joke'.
It was a joke people - lighten up
One of the best movie themes. :-)
I know it is Darth Vader's theme, but for me it works just as well in evoking the theme of "an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds." A relatively small group intent on taking down a seemingly invincible force.

I think Ron is too old to realize exactly what that music is going to mean to a lot of us middle aged folks. It has a very negative connotation and makes me distrust this man, who is so clearly out of touch with reality, even more.

Anyone with 574 fans on HuffPo is a Marxist anyway.
I'm a glutton for punishment.
And that guy/gal is scared of the bogeyman. Maybe next time they can do that Vincent Price laugh from Michael Jackson's Thriller at the next speech.
What kind of pantywaists are people today, seriously??
Also, from HuffPo? Blecchhh
but sometimes it feels like just when you're getting some sheep to feel comfortable around you, somebody comes screaming and scares them away.
Stupid sheep? Well sure...but are we trying to get them into the barn or aren't we?
HuffPo? Blecchh? So it's more productive to just hang out with people that are already pro-Paul?
I'm not trying to be argumentative...just venting. Whatever.
Many of my friends are either neocons or liberals, and I don't talk like this to them ever. I guess I was just venting, too.
Dear Ron Paul DJ,
These are the sounds you're looking for:
Play this when RP wins his first primary and the cheers may deafen everyone within 100 miles.
Ben Kenobi's brother Obi-RON
Mr. Held has the correct soundtrack.
(However, I understand the irony of playing the Imperial March due to him being "dangerous.")
I'm pretty sure it was this:
Also, it's often mistaken for the Imperial March. Look at the related videos on youtube.
No, they really did play the Imperial March.
I think they should play the Throne Room/End Title when RP wins his first primary.
Is there any proof that this sound was really played when Ron Paul?
It was played *during* the party. RP appeared to "I Won't Back Down" (words/music by Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne).
are we not against the "empire"?
They were calling Ron Paul dangerous so they played the song from the movie - it was a big joke.
No we don't want no stinkin empire.
It's hard enough explaining everything else. Explaining the difference between an Imperial March & Throne Room diddy and why we're NOT trying to compare Ron Paul to Darth Vader just makes me want to pound my head on my desk.

Me too..Ron's sure not Darth Vader. After Wead, I think I would like 76 Trombones!
