Japan - Decline
Submitted by donvino on Wed, 01/11/2012 - 19:34Earlier I made a comment on Japan's fertility rate and high debt to GDP ratio. This report just came out very recently on the BBC regarding relationships in Japan.
I wonder if this also is similar in other Western countries?

p.s. I found the info on the public health care system very interesting as well.

Get me over there
I'll single-handedly repopulate that whole nation within 5 years a different girl every night :P
nvm my math is flawed
that only comes out to $1825 kids :/
" a third of young Japanese
" a third of young Japanese men have no interest in sex."
I call bull.
"young men," "no interest" and "sex" do not go together.
Just sayin'...
Well, to be more accurate...
They have no interest in relationships. I haven't lived in Japan, but I have spent a lot of time in Korea... Relationships there are pretty involved and are steeped in expectation of how they're supposed to work. There are certainly a lot of factors involved, but I think shifts in the cultural concepts of masculinity, femininity, and relationships as a whole are the biggest factors.
Oh, and about the healthcare... Having experienced it, single-payer healthcare is both inexpensive and very efficient. Personally, I'm hoping that the elimination of Federal subsidies and regulations under Paul's administration will allow States to experiment with single-payer and other healthcare systems :)
what if they added "with
what if they added "with women"?
lol
omg
