The Battle of Cowpens on January 17, 1781 was a decisive victory by Continental army forces under Brigadier General Daniel Morgan, in the Southern campaign of the American Revolutionary War. It was a turning point in the reconquest of South Carolina from the British.

My story
I am a poor college student in pharmacy school at the University at Buffalo in NY. I've been wanting to donate to the SC money bomb for a while now. Money was always the rate limiting factor. Yesterday I went to our school's basketball game and put my name into a raffle to play the money machine (money blows in the air and you grab as much as you can in 30 seconds). I somehow won the raffle and during halftime I collected nearly $800 (a UB record for that particular game). I donated to the campaign during the last money bomb in December and because of my good fortune, just did again! Let's go guys! Keep up the momentum!

I'm so broke. I'm watching every penny trying to pay down my credit card debt that still has donations from the black this out money bomb, which was my first ever. I told myself I was only going to do $20 because I have to be responsible. However, it turns out that I can't let myself stand by and not do more. The Official Campaign is really pushing and asking for Donations RIGHT NOW with two E-Mails, one from Campaign Chairman John Tate, yesterday followed up today by a personal e-mail from Ron Paul Himself.
John Tate has extended the South Carolina Money Bomb until Saturday January 21st at Midnight!! He states, "We've extended our South Carolina Money Bomb through this Saturday's Primary to make sure we leave nothing on the table."

This is a movement not shock and awe.
It is gaining momentum steadily. Pulling in more than 100k per day is nothing to sneeze at. I personally believe we should go easy on the money bombs and focus on STEADY campaign donations.

A pain in the a** is better than a blackout, which seems to be what I've noticed (again) in the last 24 hours of local MSM coverage.

Campaign donors have
Campaign donors have dropped-off the planet. This is the hardcore who are donating, everyone else is MIA. But why? We need to be able to raise funds.
I know people who aren't donating... There are very few supporters out there who can't drop at least a $20 on every moneybomb.
I've met
folks who are mostly in agreement with the message of RP, but, before they end the sentence they manage to shoot themselves/movement in the foot. I guess, they're waiting for some one to lead the way for them, on tv?

Yeah, but this is a donor number problem, not a donation amount problem. it will be interesting to see what happens. I think Paul is counting on that $10 million...

1,2 million people voted for Ron Paul in the election season 4 years ago...we had huge Money Bombs.
I guess economy right now is different.
Many people are scared of loosing jobs and so on.

My honest take on it, and I
My honest take on it, and I am not trying to be negative here, but I imagine people were disappointed in the 3rd and 2nd and have bought-into the "Romney is getting the nomination". Yeah, I know it was only two states but that is all it takes. People are probably hesitant to buy-in right now. "Why donate when Romney is going to get the nomination", or "Paul will probably go third party so why donate now when I can donate to the 'real campaign'?" I think a win in SC could get people motivated. Most people don't think in terms of a delegate decision at the convention, what they think about is "1st place wins", and to them once we had the first couple states that is all they needed to see along with getting bombarded by the media propaganda.
We lost A LOT (about 75%) of donors (not supporters) after Iowa despite what a good showing it was. Everyone was expecting 1st or 2nd. That is enough to cause many to lose hope. I was down and I have been supporting Paul for 10 years, so I know it probably had quite an effect on the mass of supporters. In no way am I saying this is over, it just might be a bit more difficult than the campaign thinks to pull-off the rest of these states. $2million isn't going to do it. We'll see how the next one goes, but if Paul needs $10 million, its likely not coming unless SC happens.
