Bump
That!
I'm getting tired of our
I'm getting tired of our corrupt media...
It was such a good
It was such a good endorsement..wonder if anyone but us will even find out about it..
Davis thought he'd endorse in September
but he waited till January. That was probably the right decision. If he'd endorsed Ron before Iowa and Ron didn't do very well he would look rather foolish. Further, no-one would remember it by the time South Carolina got to vote.
By waiting till now he had the chance to see how strong a campaign his favorite had and was able to endorse when it will presumably have the most impact. Had Ron Paul performed as well as Huntsman in Iowa and Perry in New Hampshire there's little chance Davis would have endorsed him, no matter how much he might agree with his ideas. In Ron Paul he's assured of having a horse with legs that will truly be helped by his endorsement. If there's an upset and Paul overtakes Romney it will be a very sweet victory for Davis.
New Hampshire and Ecuador.

This is great
I already posted it on another forum along with the old article of the others wanting his endorsement.
I need a little help.
Tonight I want to write & send a Letter to the Editor to all the newspapers in SC. What issues/endorsements should I particularly point out, which are most important to South Carolinians?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cynthia
When you write about this one
When you write about this one I would quote Santorum on how important of an endorsement it is. Here's an article that covers his quote: http://americanvisionnews.com/1231/coveted-sc-endorsement-to...
Great Speech!
This is a great speech, be sure to follow the link to read it in full!
SENATOR TOM DAVIS
“It’s easy to campaign on lower taxes, less spending and fewer regulations – it’s another thing entirely to stand up for these limited government principles when the entire Washington establishment is aligned against you. Yet for more than three decades Ron Paul has cast thousands of lonely votes in our nation’s capital based on the constitutional principles that this country was founded on – and that the Republican Party has promised to protect. Yet while generations of politicians – including far too many Republicans – were losing their way or caving to the status quo, Ron Paul was standing as a Tea Party of one against a towering wave of red ink.”

Did I miss it?
I was jumping back and forth between the CBS live link above and the CSPAN link here: http://www.c-span.org/Live-Video/C-SPAN/
And I didn't hear an announcement. I did, however, get an earful of Santorum telling a SC resident that the Federal Reserve is constitutional because the Congress delegated the power to them. I wish I could've jumped through my internet and school him on Article 1, Section 10.
"Inflation is good"
I wasn't able to upload that clip to YouTube, but I posted the link to the video and a transcript here in case anyone else is interested:

Well not just because of Article 1 Section 10 ;-)
Article 1 Section 8 authorizes the Federal Government to coin money. Article 1 Section 10 prohibits the States from doing so, and they are only allowed to use Gold and Silver as legal tender for payment of debts. The language "herein granted" in Article I's vesting clause has been interpreted to mean that the powers Congress may exercise are exclusively those specifically provided for in Article I (See: United States v. Alfonso Lopez, Jr., 514 U.S. 549 (1995)). Since it was given the power to "To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, ...and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures", but was not granted the power to delegate this authority to any other branch, private corporation, or state, it is certainly unconstitutional.
We
need a you tube of this by Santorum going viral on the fed.
Here is what Rick Santorum thinks of this endorsement.
“To get an endorsement from someone like Tom Davis is a big deal,” former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum told The Hilton Head Island Packet recently. “It would speak volumes to folks and make them take notice and give us a look.”
It's a big deal
unless Ron Paul wins it, like the NH primary.
I hope someone can Youtube Senator Davis speech.
By the time I got the link it was already into Ron Paul Speech.
Folks did you see that CBS has the audience at 18,000 viewers at this event and it said 22 Million LIve stream viewers! I wonder if that was right on CBS Part?
Man!!
I'm loving Ron's positive energy in his speeches lately. This is one thing that has been missing as he has focused on the negative aspects and what is being done wrong. But he has been nailing the freedom message and feel good factor over the last few speeches and it's going to attract the undecided voters, I'm confident.
This stream is not the live
This stream is not the live speech from tonight. It is his last speech and NOT ONE news source that I can find is broadcasting this event tonight..
It looked live to me and I thought I did see Davis there.
There were a whole lot of people there. But maybe not.
He could never give the same
He could never give the same exact speech. This one was the speech he gave last in SC. I am not sure but it is the same speech.
