Colbert's ex super pac released an ad going after Romney

Colbert's ex super pact released an ad going after Romney, in it he calls Romney a cereal killer.

You gotta watch it. Yeah, I posted it here, but its funny and serious at the same time.

You can put the link to the ad in your post here so people can find it easier if you would like.

"Cereal Killer", Romney must have a beef against 7 Day Adventist

They were after all the pioneers in introducing "breakfast cereals" to modern day commercial concept of cereal foods. ;p

I love SC.. his name even is a anagram of South Carolina.

He rulez.

I even hate GS questions to Steven Colbert

So its just George Step who questions drive me crazy.

Invest in Liberty, one Apartment deal at a time with me. Get a check each month as a passive investor, just ask me how.

Genius. Colbert will end up

Genius. Colbert will end up dropping out and putting his weight behind Ron Paul and his super pac will do the same. Any bets?

I'll take that bet

He won't do it. I find him to be tremendously funny, and I realize he's a Democrat also.

Support freedom and liberty candidates in 2012... Ron Paul... Gary Johnson...

He is a dem but not all dems are voting dems

I am a dem, a progressive and socialist.. I am voting for Paul. All economic theories are just that theory's and non were written in the constitution.. we are not your enemies we are your fellow brothers in the republic. Liberty does not divide and conquer it unites us in itself.

Sheer genius social/political satire

For anyone who can't see and appreciate what's going on here between the lines here, that's just sad.

For example, the bit about Colbert's Stewart's SuperPac creating an ad that alleges Romney is a serial killer - an ad that Colbert can and must disavow (since candidates are required to have nothing to do with their SuperPacs) while simultaneously saying it's up to Romney to answer the questions raised there, is absolutely brilliant satire.

Colbert and Stewart are true

Colbert and Stewart are true patriots. They are the only ones willing to expose the truth on TV.

you can stop looking

we have found our VP.

“We have allowed our nation to be over taxed and over regulated and overrun by bureaucrats, the founders would be ashamed of us for what we're putting up with.” Ron Paul

colbert is soooo funny I love him

thanks for the laugh---now back to the money bomb!

An idea whose time has come can not be stopped by any army or government-- Ron Paul 2012

Colbert

That was a waste of time.

josesuave

Agree

I had enough after 3 minutes.

Mirand Sharma

DITTO !!

.

Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow

wasn't really funny

but if you pay attention to the purpose behind what he's doing...well worth the watch. Showing the absurdity of the system....superPAC ads that don't provide the facts...how the candidates can shrug it off...how the money influences who's voice is heard the most...etc. etc. etc.

Haaaaaaaaaaa!

Colbert was hilarious!

Support freedom and liberty candidates in 2012... Ron Paul... Gary Johnson...

If you're smart enough to get it

Stewart and Colbert have been amazing.

This isn't partisan or about any candidate. It's about exposing the political corruption we've allowed to take place. They are the real journalists, even though they are working in jest - whether they are liberal, conservative or other.

reply

Colbert and Stewart have the major media and RNC bigtime pissed off about the Romney ad ... they are losing control of the public debate and this interview is just another example tit for tat.

colbert has that schtick down

it's to the point now, that if I close my eyes, he sounds like O'Reilly sometimes ...@1:39

What Colbert (and the left) doesn't understand

is that money will always follow politicians if there are subsidies to be given and winners to be picked in the private sector by politicians. A constitutional Federal Government would prevent this. You will never be able to stop corporate interests without it.

If a candidate actually cared about the liberty of the people, that candidate would air more campaign ads than super pac ads because the corporations would have no reason to send donations his/her way....oh wait we do have that candidate.

Ron Paul!

more succinctly

Most of the govt is just a closed, private auction of services to special interests.

Following the constitutionally prescribed limitations on govt power would stop the auction that naive liberals (& some dumb/dishonest neocons like McCain) think could be stopped through campaign finance reform.

Must be a slow news day

If the MSM is wasting money on a stupid interview like this. Worthless piece of junk.

If it makes you mad enough, donate again to moneybomb

That's a real way to get to Stephanopoulos. Let's bring the $10 million Paul needs to go past SC to FLORIDA!!

Take that, Stephanopolous

You globalist shill.

Maybe a change of heart...

When I first heard about the super pac transfer and Colbert launching an 'exploratory committee', I have to admit I was pissed. But upon seeing this, and reading some of the comments here, I will keep an open mind.

|^^^^^^^^^^^\||____ Sac, CA

|(@)@)"""""""**|(@)(@)**|(@)

just a thought

He's actually helping pull people from the matrix and bring politics to the MS. Most liking bring in viewers who normaly might not vote or pay attention at all. So i guess i see it as a good thing....

They're both acting

George Snufalufagus seemed to me that he was pretending to be serious.

upon listening

i heard at least 4 references to
what the news corps used against RP
and he was throwing it in their faces
gotta love colbert and stewart
deacon

Classic Colbert

If Colbert actually does get on a ballot, my fear was that he'd take votes away from RP. But I don't see that happening, really. As long as his ex-Super PAC focuses on the absurdity of the system and the absurdity of other candidates, I see this as a net positive.

Great video with George S.

Blessed are the peacemakers, but elected are the war hawks.
