Internet Power: Obama WINS... Ron Paul???

0 votes

There is something interesting in the land of Oz. All statistics point that on the Democratic side, Obama is popular when looking at the social networking websites and stats from Alexa as well as meet-up groups and memberships.

So Obama is able to rally his voter turn-out? I live in Southern California (60 Miles south of L.A) and I am yet to see 1 (count that again - one ) single Obama yard sign anywhere here. All I see are Ron Paul car stickers, window decals, yard signs and hand made signs.

So we are seeing that the internet translates votes for Obama, how about for Dr. Paul? Are we to believe that being a republican makes us less internet savvy or even aware that we need to GO OUT and vote.

Perhaps this is more of a question to myself than any reader. I simply just don't get that being in one or another political party means that I will actually GO OUT and vote.

I think I will resort to keeping my television turned off, staying focused on Truth and get my news from those who are like minded. I am still patiently waiting for the results to be tabulated over at libertybroadcastnetwork.org.

My support, money and vote is Solid for Dr. Ron Paul.

Obama did not win!!!! Hillary Lost

Let us put this into perspective this win in Iowa was a voiced opinion about Hillary and not Obama. When in the democratic caucas you get to choose your candidate if your candidate does not get 15% you have to choose another so what happened is that the people that supported the smaller candidates spoke out against Hillary and Edwards, this does not spell doom for our side in fact it makes it more exciting. When it comes to open States you may very well see the indepedents go to Ron Paul and not to the Democrats. My Suggestion is this...
1. Put something on the RonPAul2008 page about his reduction of forces elsewhere in the world explain that he can make that decision as the Commander in Chief, most people think congress controls that.
2. Be stright forward about health care and the housing crunch, tell people that if they wanted the same standard of living as was enjoyed in the 50's you have to make $40.00 an hour today, tell them that they can have it again if they strengthen the dollar, explain to them how we intend to do it.
3. Have Ron Paul write letters to his supporters more often, and post these to the dailypaul as well as the formal page, we need to hear from him, at times directly, have him tell us when we need to infuse the campaign with cash, we will do it.
4. and finally, get out the supporters, make sure you hit the farmers a lot, they do not understand the message, I have told the ones around me that with his policy they will be able to trade with many more countries, this made them listen. They need to know the bottom line like a lot us do.

VOTE RON PAUL!!!!!!!

michael

I am in Oregon

All I see is RP signs...I think us folks on the west coast are a little different then the demographic from the corn fields of Iowa.

RP did allright in the corn fields

The data, on Politico at least, says that he did best in rural areas and worst in the cities such as Des Moines, generally. On the other hand, I think I see he did decently in the college towns, Story and Johnson counties, where Ames (Iowa State) and Iowa City (U of IA) are.
